    These are great theories, but one major problem is we seldom implement consistent approaches to crime. The criminal mind has to be understood from the pov of the distraught, emotional, and stressed mind of the criminal.
    Sane (law-abiding) humans behave decently because of positive beliefs. Criminals generally do not think through the whole trajectory of their actions. Most have an infantile or limited appreciation of all the implications of their behavior.
