Ability: Make everything cost one more turn.
Great Artist that creates a Luxury resource: Video Games?
Approved
YES! That would be awesome!
Approved
Credit where it's due. Thank you Firaxis for bringing the leader pass to us. As a console player I figured we were going to be left out in the cold.
Yessssss!!!!!
Same. That being said, the game needs a looooot of UI and bug fixes.
You really think they would miss the chance to make more money?
@@sokarash It's for free, kinda.
Fr I thought they would never make it so I just switched from Switch to pc. over $100 in total to do so.
Played civ since 1992.. and am still going🙋♂️🎉🎉😊
same here!
ditto@@mitiamed
Same here😂
My kids are 3 now
Dinosaur 🦕 in the chat
I remember my first game of Civ Rev and falling in love with this series! Thank you so much Civilization!
Follum follum!
For me it was a few games of Civ III at a relatives house but mainly Civ IV that I truly fell in love with the games
Even though I only play Civ on PC, I really appreciate that you listen to fans and constantly deliver. We love you, guys ❤
I only play on PC too
I never thought the leader pass would come to console!
So...what's happening with civ 7?
Would you be interested in a trade agreement with England?
Would you be interested in a trade agreement with England?
I really hope some news will be included in "everything else coming this september"
It felt like a kind of nod to some big news.
Let them cook
Civ 6 inspired me to learn more about my heritage (parents are from the Caribbean), and because of that, I found some favorite music listen to when drawing, so thanks you civ team.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so damn much for releasing the leader pass on console!
Civ VI has been one of my favorite games, ever. Got me through the end of high school and all of college, and now I’m a teacher who still plays videogames when he should be writing lesson plans. Thank you Sid Meier for starting this beautiful adventure in history and gaming, and thank you Firaxis for making such a great game and fostering such a loving community
Playing for almost 27 years right now...won´t stop any soon, best game ever.
I have just over 4000 hours in Civ VI and I still find reasons to play. Here’s to another 30 years of Civ! Bravo 👏
I have just started playing Civ 6 this year and I love this game so much!
Keep up with the great content, civ team!
Kudos to a game company for having meaningful, value adding updates long into the life of a game. This is what should be the gold standard we hold all other companies too.
THANK YOU SID
Thank you Sid
I still play Civ6 on my steam deck every night and on holiday. It makes me relaxed and i love it how much content is created. Can't wait for the future!
Thank you for being my most played game on steam! My husband and I love your game and it's one of our treasured memories curling up with snacks and taking on the world together
Thank you for making me feel very old. I was 19 when the first game came out, and I'm starting up another game of Civ6 right now. So I guess, still young at heart, at least.
I'm happy to have contributed with 2000h to the billion+ hours of playtime :)
Wow
THANK YOU!!!!!! I play on PS5 now and have been waiting for the leader pass to come to the consoles! Thanks a ton for listening!
Thank you for the masterpiece ❤... love your creations!
Started with the very first Civ, played and loved it with my father, huge bonding moments, now there is a spark of that feeling whenever I play a civ again. Its a game that echo's through the generations
You guys are the best and thank you so much for helping console get on par with pc. You really are the best
Wow, this is truly awesome!
We love Sid Meier! We love Civ! I've been playing civ series since the first game and I can definitely say that Civ is part of my life. Whenever I feel depressed it helped me! Love you guys and thank you for all these wonderful hours full of Civ !
It’s refreshing to see a game studio that actually cares about there community I will continue to support you guys financially and by playing your game
Now if you can fix the crashing on console it doesn’t happen a lot but dam it’s annoying
You’re playing a very taxing game (in the later stages of the game) on a piece of hardware that isn’t really designed for it
Definitely one of my favorite franchises of all time. Glad you guys have put so much love to Civ 6 during all these years.
CIV VII were, When, Who, What, How, Why not? I hope its CIV V best bits with Civ 6 best bits. and Multiplayer mod support.
civ 5 is trash
@@gamenesea1064L take
Hope will be Civ 4 and Civ 6 best bits, they are the best Civ games.
It will happen when it happens. Nagging about it won't speed up development
If they don't know that we asking, then how they know they have a customers.@@LordHammer33
i can remember when my parents bought a new 286 and my First Game - Civilization 1, delivered on Disks with a great handbook. Thanks for all the great Games spending thousands of hours of entertainment. There was, is and will always be an installed version of Civilization on my PC.
With you since the first one, and not stopping. for the memories, and keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for making the new civ more fun to play and interesting. you did a really good job!
LETS GOOO i love this game and I hope we will go far with this game and the next installments ❤
It's Yongle time!
Been playing since September 1991. Bought that first blue box at the games shop in the mall on physical media.
Malls are dead, games stores are few and far between, but Civ is still going strong.
To the Civ team- thank you for your dedication and amazing work
Live Yongle Reaction:
Side note: Thank you so much for bringing the Leader Pass to console. I was really wanting to play Tokugawa
My god, has it been 32 years since the original Civilization release? Feels like yesterday that I was a kid playing it on my dad's computer with his EGA/VGA graphics. 😆😅
One of the favorite things that I've liked in the past with the Civ Series are those games that you were able to go colonize Alpha Centauri and then continue playing there. If I recall correctly, Civ2 was the only one to do that... with Civ5 requiring the Beyond Earth game being bought separately. I'd love it if you brought that gameplay back for Civ7.
Thank you for the decades of memories and here's to decades more of Civilization!
I've been a huge fan since the first time I played Civ 2 back in the day. I remember playing it on Win 3.1 first for a while and then on Windows 95 and having my mind blown away with the graphic improvements :D:D:D I've been playing one more turn ever since
I started with Civ II Gold edition and sunk SO many hours into that.
Can't wait to see what's in store for Civ 7!
Sometimes I think it's not even in development. It's been so long. 😢😂
A return to the looks of Civ 5 would be nice.
Love it. (And looking forward to Civ 7 journey… and retiring and playing months of Civ 8 straight.)
This is the only computer game i still play. Im too old for cod, and all the other shooters. Ive played since civ 2 and cant see me ever stopping. Thanks fireaxis and Sid Meiers! ❤
Thanks a lot me and my cousin been waiting for to long for his Cleopatra and my Julius🎉
nice changes! not only for caesar but a few of the new leaders got buffed. love to see it
My favorite game of all time, wish Firaxis and CIv for continued success👍👍👍
It would be epic if they add production lines in civ 7
For example:
Farms produce wheat
Wheat gets transported to windmill
Windmill makes grain
Grain transported to bakery
Bakery makes bread (food)
Or:
Iron mine produces iron ore
Iron ore gets transported to smelter
Smelter makes iron bars
Iron bars go to encampment
Encampment makes swordsmen
Well that's just great news, can't wait to see what's coming next!
Thank you so much.
I tried to be as patient as possible but I saw everyone was really sad that it was pc exclusive so thank you
Civ games has stirred my interest in reading world history books. So thank you!
it's been a true pleasure! played thousands of hours since 4!
Civilization had a great impact on my literal work. Played 1, 2, 4 and 6. Every version was unique in its own way. Thx Sid Meier!
So that means that I’ve been playing Civ in 32 years. Now I feel really old 😳
I had the same thought...
Man i play it for what? 5 years and i feel old too 😅
lol same here... I can't think of another series that I've followed for this long
Can't wait for CIV 7!!!
Playing since day 1, best series ever made.
We need Sid Meier's Railroads 2 with Unreal Engine 5.3 . This will be the best game ever !
Fui viciado em Civilization desde a versão III até VI, de 2003 a 2021. Jogo excepcionalmente bem feito, o melhor de todos
Thank you so much for bringing it to console finally 🙏
I just started downloading the update - nice
Thank you for best games on earth❤❤❤
you guys earned it, congrats broskis
I have been playing 22 years already and I hope 22 more will folow)
Been playing Civ since I got my hands on the Civ III demo back when I first started pc gaming. I finally stopped playing that demo at like 3am and thought dang, I need more
Thank you guys!
Let's goooooooooooooooo I've been wanting to play it on switch for the longest time
great! been waiting for leader pack for consoles :D
Le agradezco tanto a xbox haber regalado el civilization revolution del games with gold porque desde entonces no he dejado de jugar y estar al día con civ
I really hope when Civ VII comes out, it'll blow the modding tools and depth of Civ VI out of the water. It wasn't since Civ IV that we've had as impressive a mod as Fall from Heaven II, and I want to see that kind of creativity unleashed again.
didn't expect that a game series could be older than me (no folks, I'm not 30 yet, I'm still in my early 20s)
Thank you developers ❤❤❤ I'll die happy now 🎉🎉🎉🎉
well I'd loved to see some new stuff in general for pc people and so on, but console players have long been waiting for the leader pass and I have lots of hopes for that "what we have for september", thank you for so much!
On my IBM AT 286 I got Civ with it's glorious CGA graphics and was amazed with the scope of the game. I played it so much that I had the tech trees memorized to skip through the copy protection each time it popped up. Then the day came when my Dad brought home a 5 1/5" disk that read EGA and my world exploded from 4 to 16 colors! It was that moment when I got to play CIV, King's\Space Quest all over again like it was the first time.
This series is hands down my favorite game ever. I can't wait till Civ7 comes out! And I hope one day that when I get a science victory, I can use that civ "seed" to launch Alpha Centauri 2!
Woah 32 years congrats
This is the game. Thank you.
the modded leader of siam can be seen at 0:03 very cool
Happy birthday Civ
Happy early birthday civ 🎉
Yesssssss! You did the right thing here folks. It's time to enjoy civ 6 again on my switch (I also have leader pass on PC but somehow I enjoy civ on a portable console a lot more). Will be playing a lot of civ 6 during our upcoming Vietnamese Independence Day 🤩
Nice low key shout-out to Beyond Earth. Wouldn't mind seeing a sequel
I adore this game so much
CIV7🥳 CIV7🥳 CIV7🥳
Here's to 32 more turns and counting!
I remember in the late 90s watching the glow of the monitor playing Civ 1 (Civ Classic).
0:52 the backgrounds should've been like this from the start. The way it is ingame is way less immersive
1 billion hours and half of them from me, gg Civ
As someone who doesn’t have a PC, I am more excited for this than starfield or armored core
For more than 20 years, since Civ 3, it has been a great delight to play this series and design some mods. I still remember the moment I used Civilopedia to research Shaka and his Impis after suffering irreparable damage from them in Civ 3, and I still remember how thrilled I was to take some revenge as the Aztecs against the Spanish in Civ 4. I had some romance with Theodora, my favorite female Leader in Civ 5, as the Osmans (who is my favorite in real history). I also shed some tears when I had to deliver a critical blow to Matthias, my favorite historical figure among the Civ 6 Leaders, who was seriously impeding my path to victory in that game.
As a result, filled with many priceless memories, I eagerly anticipate the release of the next Great Work of Game with the hopes of seeing an improved Osman Civilization and free of fantastical elements like zombies or vampires. For the former. I still can’t recover from the shock that Barbary Corsair is the Unique Unit rather than Siaphi or Janissary, and there are plenty of better Civ Ability names such as Millet or Devşirme than these petty pirates or bombards. And for the latter, I still can’t believe and can’t agree that a game based on true history would include intrusive fantasies. Although I can imagine that creating such features was fun, I sincerely hope that this will only go down in the history of the series as a deviation for a moment.
this game is fantastic have it on PC and in the switch...
That are goated for this ngl
Thanks for this...
I'm very very happy with this news! I am an Xbox player and getting the leader pass is amazing. But i do have ONE question, can we please get crossplay between console and PC? I've been wanting to play Civ with my friends and they all have PCs (I'm the one guy that still uses consoles). It's a long shot but if someone in your team sees this, please consider it.
I started to play in 1993 and I'm still saying: One more turn!
YES YES YES
This is awesome
Thank you ❤
YES🎉
Console player here. LETS GOOO!!
