@@kennymitchell4361Hi Kenny just wanted to say thanks for the support. I saw your comment on the Trancefix forum, it doesn’t go unnoticed. Those dinosaurs need to get a life.
Thanks for the breakdown. I'm sure to buy Waiting for the Sun, Life in Trance & Scent this week since Beatport is having sale again. I also noticed Reveal Sound is still having -30 % on Spire and -40 % on expansions. Thanks for the LFO Tool tip for loops. I need to get that. I keep on saying thanks, but you put me on the track for Activa Trance Essentials. Didn't consider those before today.
Hi Sam. You have really great walkthroughs 👍 In particular, your template on this track helped me a lot. It would be nice if you can do one of this for your "Butterfly". Thank you. Have a great time! Upd: could you please tell what function Utility performs on each lead? Is it volume automation or stereo extension? Thank you again.
hello sam, thank you for this very informative tutorial. I have a question about a layer of 3 or 4 Leads. Isn't it necessary to make a slight right or left pan? And in which packs can I find the Spire Gouryella and Sylenth1WF Andromeda presets? Thanks again for sharing your work
Hey mate, new sub here. Amazing job and amazing walkthrough! Thank you very much for sharing. One question though: On the drop, is there any pad beneath main leads or not? I could not notice
Thx for the inside man, i really appreciate theese. I have a question: do you use sidechain on reverb buses too? if yes, is it the very same sidechain you used on the instrument buses?
Hi Shaun, great question. I check the tone of my kicks, usually when using more subby kicks like the progressive/house/psy kicks. For Trance, the kicks are a more knocking sound. It is possible to find the tone of them however. I would say 50% of the time I tune my kick for Trance. It depends what key I’m working in. A lot of kick samples in this genre are between F and Bflat, so sometimes you can, sometimes you can’t.
@@SamLaxtonTV Thanks for the reply :) I have noticed a lot of kicks I use are usually in the key of A. How do you tune your kicks? I tried the method of changing the key by going up or down an octave but it never sounds right when I do that. I know when you get the kick matching the bass it sounds so much better.
@@MSI917 In my experience, moving up or down 1 semitone is no issue. I have done that a couple of times. Anything more than that will sound too thin or sluggish in my opinion.
Thanks everyone for the support on this one and welcome to any new subscribers!
Masterpiece
