Did I miss it? At 20:57 Dr. Jones says that Yeshua was crucified in 31AD. But Michael Rood has it as 28AD in the Chronological Gospels. Can you help me out? Did Michael make a revision that I don't know about? Or have I just completely misunderstood? Thanks for the help in advance!

@@BuddyRubino Dates of events on the corrected calendar align like dominoes. Adjustments would not be on a whim nor was it published on a whim but painstakingly deliberate after decades of longsuffering. I've know Rood since the late 1990s and co-sponsored one of his meetings with 300 in attendance. I've not heard nor read of any significant changes in dates since receiving my current AAACBH calendar entitled, "The Revelation Scroll: Aviv 6020 - 3rd Month 6021." Some events "stand-alone" but many align sequentially with cause-and-effect interdependence. Placement on a timeline is multi-verified against astronomical software, secular histories, biblical/extra-biblical records, ancient languages and culture, archaeological evidence, and agricultural knowledge.

@@angeladunn4045 Thanks for trying to help me out! So does Dr. Jones have it wrong at the 20:57 mark? That's what I'm trying to understand more than anything: is it 31AD as I understand Dr. Jones describing here? Or is it 28AD as I've read in the Chronological Gospels? And forgive me if I'm super slow on the uptake and I'm just missing it! I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed.

In reference to yeshua writing in the dirt. Jeremiah 17:13 says that because those who have rejected the fountain of living water have departed from YHVH they will be ashamed and their names will be written in the earth. Also this story happens the morning after the libation ceremony on the last day of sukkot where he speaks the same language of living water and they drove HIM out. Food for thought.

I think this is the proper interpretation. I don't know where Miles Jones got 'the blood of the prophets' interpretation, but that's not in the Torah as far as I know. There is though 'the bitter waters', but that's when the husband doesn't trust his wife: the woman is to drink a mix of water and dust made by the priest, if guilty, her belly is distorted, if innocent, nothing happens. But again, this is a different case, because the woman brought to Jesus was supposedly caught on the act.

Sing unto YAHUAH O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. (Psalms 30:4, KJV)
And ye shall serve the LORD your God YAHUAH and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and YAHUAH will take sickness away from the midst of thee. (Exodus 23:25, KJV)
Bless YAHUAH , O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: (Psalms 103:2, KJV)
Serve YAHUAH with gladness: come before his presence with singing. (Psalms 100:2, KJV)
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, [and] into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, [and] bless his name YAHUAH . (Psalms 100:4, KJV)
As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. (Mark 1:2, KJV)
For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of YAHUAH . (1 Thessalonians 2:9, KJV)
5 Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see YAHUAH
9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of YAHUAH.
10 Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:5, KJV)
29 And Yahusha answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God YAHUAH is one ALOHIM.
30 And thou shalt love ALOHIM thy God YAHUAH with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.
31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:29, KJV)
    16 Rejoice evermore.
    17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of YAHUAH in Mashiach Yahusha concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16, KJV)

      Matt 23:37-38 & Luke 13:35
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house [Judah] is left [G863] unto you desolate.

George Howard's unpointed Hebrew transcript and translation of Shem Tov's Hebrew Matthew is available online but he has biased and sometimes doesn't translate properly.
Keith Johnson and Nehemia Gordon are going through Shem Tov's Hebrew Matthew. Keith Johnson puts out an interlinear with pointed Hebrew and a literal translation for each episode they do on his website. They have 11 pdfs so far. It's free to download once you register for free. It's only up to Matthew 4:22 so far.
I found an unpointed Hebrew transcript and translation of Catalan Hebrew Gospel of Mark by Justin J. Van Rensburg. He disagrees with Nehemia Gordon on the pronunciation of YHVH. I'm not sure how reliable it is. The links on the website are broken so you have to use Google to actually find things that they've posted. Justin J. Van Rensburg has done Matthew from the Catalan Gospels but it doesn't have the Hebrew transcript yet.
Nehemia Gordon's pointed Hebrew transcript and translation of Manuscript Sloane 273 (Revelation 1-2:16)
There is apparently a Hebrew transcript for the Cochin Hebrew New Testament called the Travancore Hebrew New Testament but I haven't found any copy online.

The Bitter Waters That Cause The Curse:
    Numbers 5:11-31 KJV
[11] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[12] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
    [13] And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner ;
[14] And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:
[15] Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
[16] And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD :
[17] And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:
[18] And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:
[19] And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
[20] But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:
    [21] Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;
[22] And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
[23] And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:
[24] And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.
[25] Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:
[26] And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
[27] And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.
[28] And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.
    [29] This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;
[30] Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.
[31] Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.
    ========================
An interesting extra-biblical rendition of this in the case of Mary & Joseph:
    “The Protoevangelium of James”
    15. And Annas the scribe came to him, and said: Why have you not appeared in our assembly? And Joseph said to him: Because I was weary from my journey, and rested the first day. And he turned, and saw that Mary was with child. And he ran away to the priest, and said to him: Joseph, whom you vouched for, has committed a grievous crime. And the priest said: How so? And he said: He has defiled the virgin whom he received out of the temple of the LORD, and has married her by stealth, and has not revealed it to the sons of Israel. And the priest answering, said: Has Joseph done this? Then said Annas the scribe: Send officers, and you will find the virgin with child. And the officers went away, and found it as he had said; and they brought her along with Joseph to the tribunal. And the priest said: Mary, why have you done this? And why have you brought your soul low, and forgotten the LORD your God? You that wast reared in the holy of holies, and that received food from the hand of an angel, and heard the hymns, and danced before Him, why have you done this? And she wept bitterly, saying: As the LORD my God lives, I am pure before Him, and know not a man. And the priest said to Joseph: Why have you done this? And Joseph said: As the LORD lives, I am pure concerning her. Then said the priest: Bear not false witness, but speak the truth. You have married her by stealth, and hast not revealed it to the sons of Israel, and hast not bowed your head under the strong hand, that your seed might be blessed. And Joseph was silent.
    16. And the priest said: Give up the virgin whom you received out of the temple of the LORD. And Joseph burst into tears. And the priest said: I will give you to drink of the water of the ordeal of the LORD, and He shall make manifest your sins in your eyes. And the priest took the water, and gave Joseph to drink and sent him away to the hill-country; and he returned unhurt. And he gave to Mary also to drink, and sent her away to the hill-country; and she returned unhurt. And all the people wondered that sin did not appear in them. And the priest said: If the LORD God has not made manifest your sins, neither do I judge you. And he sent them away. And Joseph took Mary, and went away to his own house, rejoicing and glorifying the God of Israel.

How very interesting. If Mary and Joseph were indeed tried by bitter waters and found innocent, then what would have been going through Yeshua's mind as he prepared the chalice - seeing he himself was the child conceived in innocence.
Certainly an added depth to the story.

I am not a Hebrew Scholar or a fluent Hebrew speaker but as a layman I can see that the examples of Hebrew manuscripts projected onscreen do not match what the commentator is saying.
Miles Jones and Nehemia Gordon both state that the name Yehovah is in the original Hebrew for this verse and I agree that it likely was in the first writings. However, I have never seen the full Tetragrammaton יְהֹוָה used in this verse because an example has never been shown. Most extant manuscripts use here:
    ‎ “השם /HaShem (The Name)”.
Perhaps it’s yet to be discovered. According to George Howard’s book there are a few alternate examples used here:
“God [האל] Ha-El” and the Tetragrammaton shorthand stand in “`ה”.
What annoys me is when these commentators give examples onscreen of the Hebrew Manuscripts and these do not say what they are claiming it says. In this video @29:02 Miles Jones says:
“Now in Hebrew that is: Yehovah Yoshia-henu...Yehovah is our Yeshua (salvation).”
However, that is not what the example given says:
“Ha-El Yoshia-kem [האל יושיעכם] God will save you”.
Miles Jones & Nehemia Gordon sometimes do what Nehemia jokingly calls “pulling a George Howard”. This is when you translate the source on the page into a wholly different word to fit your interpretation or a given doctrine.
This screed will only make sense to a few but it’s here as a witness. Feel free to correct my Hebrew if necessary. But, my general point is that what is presented onscreen in Hebrew should be followed with the correct mechanical reading, not the author’s private interpretation, nor inaccurate insertions, nor replacements.

    • @rjanmyhre
      @rjanmyhre 4 роки тому +1

That is because those manuscripts are not freely available to the layman and because of owner rights.

Most people exclude the Salkinson-Ginsburg Hebrew NT in these important Study Groups, but it's Revelation chapter/verse of 10:04 holds a different implication than what Brother Michael Rood thinks about it. The Seven Thunders are "Hishmi'a Shivat Ramim" and it's first word is in the Hiphil Causative Binyan which then renders the whole phase to "the Seven Obedience-causing Thunders." These are New Laws that are not found in the Holy Torah, because the simple hearing of them will CAUSE OBEDIENCE inside the person to whom they are directed. And it easily follows as to why they were not to be written down by Yochanan. Those 7 "statutes/khukim" are a greater gift to the Torah followers of Rabbi Yeshua than we are able to imagine 😀.

The easiest way to fact check this subject is to actually go back and check every historic account of lunar eclipse's and check with the historians Josephus,Dio, New Testament, death of Herod, burning of the two Rabbis and several other things that needs to fit and they will only fit one year.
Go back and calculate yourself? Joking...
Many takes ex year 33ce and find 1 or 2 or maby 3 instances that fit with the historic account and just doesn't mention the ones that doesn't fit, most often Pastors and wannabes fit only a few instances.
If you want to take my word, it fits only in year 28ce with Temple destruction in 68ce Miles are wrong and he has it wrong in his book also.

knowing how the actual Hebrew calendar works (which is not how M.R. presents it), then you can go back and find the only year that the Resurrection could happen 3 days after the crucifixion and right before a 1st day ('sunday') at the end of the Sabbath - which would have been 31AD. @@rjanmyhre His-story has hidden, if not changed, most of what is true and can be found in the Truth of Scripture, including the eclipse that would have happened in 31AD (which can be seen on the Stellarium APP). Finding how the actual calendar of YHUH works will confirm the only year it could have happened around that range of years. The siege on the Temple started in 67AD but it was not fully destroyed until 70AD.
Deeper research shows that Herod was ill and so his sons began their reign in 4BC, so although many accounts will claim this is when Herod died, he didn't actually die until 1BC or possibly even 1AD.
So, we must know and believe the Truth of Scripture first and reject anything of 'history', etc. that does not match up.

@@MyChihuahua I have Stellarium. Would you kindly provide the date, time and coordinates you're using for 31 AD? Edit: Because I have looked at Wednesday, April 25th, 31 AD (Passover) and there is no solar eclipse on that day. The moon isn't anywhere even near the sun. The same is true for Wednesday, April 28th, 28 AD (Passover). I think although there is clearly some disagreement about exactly when the crucifixion happened, it feels reasonable to conclude (as Michael has) that the darkness was atmospheric and of Divine origin (as many other miracles). This makes sense anyways because the longest solar eclipse on record is only 7 minutes. The darkness lasted 3 hours. Were one to posit that perhaps God stopped the earth in place for 3 hours, I'd say "yea, it's God. He could definitely do that". While I know it's possible, it just doesn't seem probable. Somehow I don't see God interfering with the gloriously precise cosmic clock He created for us. So I'm more inclined to ride with Michael on that one.

Does he believe these epigraphic records represent something Semitic but not Hebrew, or not definitively Hebrew, or what? Though debatable, both of these locations' inscrioptions may date as early as 1800 BC (roughly speaking, the time of Joseph). How does Dr. Jones view the invention of the alphabet (abjad - no vowels - at first) from Egyptian hieroglyphics, in general?

To Know Good from Evil 🤷🏽‍♂️
Genesis 3:22 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Genesis 3:5 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
5 for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
gods in this verse is represents containing the knowledge of good and evil. A big difference between knowing the difference between good and evil and in charge of the ones who know the difference between good and evil. God 🤔
    John 10:34-38 Authorized (AKJV)
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36 say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? 37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
So Jesus as a representative of his Father for the purpose of salvation, must be in the same classification as well as the Father, in charge of salvation after Lucifer destroyed his world. And was lowered to the position of Satan.
    Psalm 82:6-8 Authorized (AKJV)
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. (because of your sin when Lucifer fell, Jesus and the Father made a plan for salvation).
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. (Live a life in the flesh punishments suit, to justify who your God is, through freedom of choice).
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations. (because of Jesus righteousness and the knowledge of good and evil, Jesus was in charge of salvation. Alfa and Omega. The beginning and the end of the salvation timeline. Scripture
    2 Corinthians 4:4-5 Authorized (AKJV)
4 in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

21: 54, The white, English-speaking people of the world make up the two Israelite tribes of Manasseh/British and Ephraim/USA.
Brit-ish in Hebrew is Covenant-man. Prophecied to become "Great", Genesis 48, as seen in the title Great Britain. Manasseh is today Australia, New Zealand, Canada (with the eastern side being of France/Reuben) Wales, England, Scotland(?).
The United States of America is titled States United and Ephraim was prophecied to become a multitude of nations. The USA is, 50, each with its own constitution and three-tiered government.
The word for multitude in Hebrew also means "fullness of the gentiles", and the United States today harbors more than any other nation.
And many more evidences. Type: KJ Bible online, Manasseh, or Ephraim, to see all prophecies pertaining.
And since the 10 northern tribes seceded from Yehudah/Judah, Yehovah calls them...Israel.
Yehudah is called that, Yehudah/Judah. So you see many prophecies have been and are being taugh in error.

Why did God cause an east wind to blow when Moses raised his staff to part the waters? Did the wind actually part the waters? No, I seriously doubt it. For that to happen, the wind would have to be hundreds of miles per hour given the distance and depth of the water. Also, the Israelites would be walking into the wind which is physically impossible yet, an east wind is mentioned.
Do you believe Ron Wyatt's testimony concerning the Ark Of The Covenant? If so, you may recall the exact location where Jeremiah and the priests placed it before the Babylonians breached their walls.
Directly under the cross in a chamber waiting hundreds of years for the Messiah's blood to drip down the cross into the crack in the earth, which was created by the very same earthquake spoken of in the N.T. and onto the west side of the Ark.
Anyway, it seems to me the Lord God Almighty likes to use his creation when tending to man. I guess it's just His way:)

Hey there, WildBarley67! In response to your post, have a look at the alignment of those significant events as shown neatly on Michael Rood's AAACBH Calendar, page entitled: "Time LIne From the Birth of Yeshua of Nazareth to the 7th Millennium." Just for you: Yeshua's birth (Sept. 26, 3 BCE); Herod's death (Jan. 24, 1 BCE), Yeshua crucified (Wed, April 26, 28 CE) at age 30. In ancient Hebrew culture, a man became independent at age 30 with public standing. Yeshua launched his public ministry, gathered disciples, and died in his same birth year. He was without blemish, the firstborn male lamb of the first year (Ex. 12:5), prepared for sacrificial atonement for sin to enable salvation of whosoevers and restoration of all things lost. He's the 2nd Adam and coming back soon in power and glory! Shabbat Shalom!

“{“Lk 3:23.1} The KJV rendering: “Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age,” resulted in critical chronological confusion. The English word “about” is generally considered to mean “in proximity” or “around,” which would be an accurate rendering of the Greek preposition peri, which is mathematically described as “a circle around a point” - the size of the circle being defined either by the author, or left to the discretion of the interpreter. Hence, English interpreters of the Bible have drawn a circle “about thirty years of age” as being anywhere from twenty-five to thirty-five years, depending upon their eschatological or chronological theology. However, the Greek word which was translated “about” is not peri but hosei, which means “nearing” or “not yet having reached the number or measure of time.” Hence, Yeshua had “not yet reached” thirty years of age. In the Eastern culture, when a child is born, it is his “first year,” whereas in the West, a child is not considered to have reached “one year” until his first annual birthday celebration. At the time of Yeshua’s mikveh (baptism), he was not yet (hosei) thirty; he was in the middle of the twenty-ninth “year of his life - or, as he would be considered in Western gentile reckoning, twenty-eight and one half years old. It would be another eight months before he reached the age at which a Levitical priest began active service.”

The 'vav' sound comes only from the modern (ADDED) vowel pointing and is never to be attributed to the 'Uau' (as in Yod Hey Uau Hey = YHUH),
but only to the 'Beit' (as in Abib/Aviv), so I am not sure why you continue to insist on pronouncing the Fathers name with this fricative sound of the Beit -
which ultimately means you are saying 'YHBH'. That CHANGES HIS NAME!!
His Name comes from real words: YaH (I Am) and HUH (to be, to breathe) YaH + HUH = YHUH pronounced YaHUaH (Ya Hwah - not Ya Hooah or Ye Hovah).
