This finale is as great as the series finale of Gravity Falls and Mlp:Friendship is Magic.

I still say that this Phantom Blot is also a reference to the hunter from Disney's Gargoyles especially when Magica keeps fighting the Phantom Blot, seems to have killed him, and he seems to come back stronger and wiser and all his wounds that sometimes were fatal where healed completely then the last time they fought as if there was more than one

The funny thing is, Bradford trying to kill Donald by throwing him into the existence grinder wouldn't have made the contract null en void, but merely activated its secondary purpose.
The contract on the Papyrus of Binding strictly stated that, as long as Scrooge gave up adventuring, his family would be safe.
The Papyrus literally rewrites reality, so when Donald's life was in danger of being erased from existence after Bradford threw him into the portal, the Papyrus activated, altering reality so Donald would be safe.
In an ironic twist, til Webby and the boys figured out the contract was flawed, Bradford had given them complete protection, hence why he couldn't get to them, giving Webby and the boys the time they needed to figure out the flaw in the contract.
Bradford set himself up for failure without even realizing it.
Had he simply taken out Scrooge's family BEFORE Scrooge signed the Papyrus contract, he could've gotten rid of literally all of them.
By forcing Scrooge to sign it first though he immediately made his wishes to finish off their family literally impossible

I really enjoyed the DT finale, i mean i'll admit it does have it's ups and downs like all tv show finales do but as far as DuckTales goes it was a pretty fitting ending, especially since they finally gave Webby an origin unlike in the original series.

I do like this finale. I wish they could have expanded more on some of these concepts. There are also some really big ones in this episode. Overall it is really good.

Bradford's plan was never going to work even if he got rid of Scrooge or his family. There is no way he got all the "upredictable elements" in the world. Without going into long essays worth of reason why, the big problem Bradfrod faced is lack of willigness to use those itemsfor his goals long term along with not having the necessary safguards and resources needed to take control of the world even if he operated from the shadows. While he didn't need to use every single mystery for something big, he still could have used them to take so form of control; like he could have used genie to at least make himself head of the world or big company if he could't simply use the genies power to wipe Scrooge and his family of of existance (since Genie from Aladin has stated that's one of the things he's not allowed to do and all genies might fall under a similar rule.) There there's things such as other dimensions, aliens, and magical figures that he doesn't know about. Once they come knocking on his door and he had actually succeded in his plan, he would have left the world vulnerable to these types of attacks if Scrooge was out of the way along with his family and if he had gotten rid of his own agents by then. Lastly, he didn't capture anyone who would be inspired by Scrooge to go on adventures again or even other people that wen ton adventures because they wanted to fo some reason. Bradford, as a modern villain, is a true failure in every since of the word; modern villains, both in Ducktales and a few other shows( like SU and MLP FIM), had their plans thought out to a degree where I believed that they could work.
Luckily my critisim of his plan didn''t take away from me liking the finale anyway since he already sucked and FOWL as an organization, thanks to Black Heron when you think about it, was already threatening to the point that I did consider them dangerous enough to the McDuck Family and all their allies.

i agree that the show was too crowded with characters and concepts since they put in there a lot of elements from the comics and cartoons, but a lot of this stuff could be explored in future spin offs, and i have an idea for a show starring mickey in the ducktales universe, in the disney comics mickey is best known for being a private eye and in animation one of is best roles is the sorcerer's apprentice, so why not put them togher and have mickey being a paranormal invesigator with some magic power, that would fit the ducktales universe and would give a reason for the phatom blot to go after mickey

I personally _LOVE_ this episode and it's high up there in becoming one of my favorites. I'm still debating over this and Moonvasion for best Season Finale. Things were really tied up well than I could've expected, especially with the failure to lead into this that the last episode did. (Life and Crimes was pretty bogus and unnecessary except to show us that Magica can transmorph people into non-sentient animals). I don't really have any questions left, just that I wish I could have more time in this universe and see more of these characters, but all good things must come to an end. Animation was absolutely gorgeous, especially in the last 22 minutes, I'm fully satisfied with everyone's arcs, and what they said about Launchpad during his moment is absolutely true and something I took notice of long ago. There were some appearances and cameos I didn't even begin to suspect in this episode and they really didn't play their Lunaris hand too early like I was thinking, as F.O.W.L.'s Master Plan really was more personable of a threat to the very core of the McDuck family and the concept of this show. And Bradford was an _incredibly_ well-done villain. By Let's Get Dangerous, I wasn't so sure, but they really did him justice.
As for Huey's arc, I'm not disappointed with it because that's not what I think it was all about. Not an "arc" in the traditional sense. I think it was about Huey really being the distinguished, oldest sibling. Scrooge trusted him completely in Let's Get Dangerous. He trusts Huey to hold the journal of Isabella Finch, at all times. He constantly leaves Huey in charge, and _everybody_ trusted Huey and let him plan and lead the F.O.W.L. raid. Huey came to apologize to Webby. Huey was the one who went on his own solo adventure to F.O.W.L. and turned out completely fine in the end. And I noticed in this episode that, when matters of discussing the clones, Huey was allowed in there with the adults. I think what he gained in his character growth was acceptance into being highly-regarded and trusted by the authority figures. Huey has the greatest maturity out of all the children, and clearly the adults, Scrooge especially, respect that. It's why he's left with the utmost important tasks. He's smarter than the smarties, and really given that mantle of responsibility over the other two. I feel like Scrooge has more of a mutualistic respect with Huey, versus like Scrooge having to teach Louie lessons about humility and responsibility, and Della having to keep Dewey from showboating to keep everyone safe. Huey's gone from being another child like the other two triplets to really being treated like an adult by the time of this finale, and even though he's still a child, he's highly-regarded, trusted completely, and given that helm of responsibility, which fits right at home with Huey always wanting to be in-charge and have order within what he controls. But from Season 1 Huey who just did that, and came off as bragging, obnoxious, a know-it-all, or a control-freak, by this final episode here, over the span of 3 Seasons, Huey has _earned_ it. And all the adults nonchalantly treat him like an equal. From Gyro, to Fenton, to Scrooge, to Della, to even Beakley (except when he crossed the line, lol).
I'm going to miss this, my all-time favorite show, but what a ride it has been, and they really stuck the landing. May we meet these characters again, in another time and another place.

I do feel if we had more episodes we could have spent more time on watching Fowl have victories so we would know how all those people each got defeated and jailed. Then we could have all of them fight at once. or we could continue for an other season build up the Disney Afternoon reboots , restore Magica's brother and redeem her, Adventure with April May and June . I'll be OK if a new series in canon happens If they reboot a Disney Afternoon show and ignore Duck Tales It'll be a let down. Over all networks would do well to keep a series going to a planned ending rather then cutting it short when it reaches the episode count most likely to make profit or end a series before it gets stale and runs out of new ideas I always hated that Dexter's Lab ended to air Johnny Test. both shows were bout children running Science Labs so they both had the same plots. What was the point of having both when you could have had just one? I'll say that to any show that has the same exact genre as the one before it.

I think, that a tentative 4th season would have revolved around Webby, but the show having been ended on the 3rd season, meant that they needed to give her the final episode as to have one story around every protagonist of the show in the end.
Cause yeah, I feel that that the nephews and Webby are the main characters.

@@TrickyFox93 noticeable, but I was kinda okay with the amount of Donald in the series. He was, from the beginning a secondary character. Scrooge on his side, was the mentor of the kids, so it is a good passing of the torch finale for them, which I think it was intended from the beginning.

I feel the meaning of Scrooge's words on the Papyrus of Binding is misunderstood. The reason Papyrus of Binding appeared to Webby and not May or June was not because Webby was directly related to Scrooge but because Webby was accepted as family. May or June would never been able to get the Papyrus of Binding because despite being clones of Webby they were not a part of Scrooge's family. On the other hand Webby has been accepted as a part of the family throughout the series, which reinforces the idea that family is not nessacary by blood. The Papyrus of Binding is very literal as Bradford explains in episode 16, "The first adventure". "Rightful heir of Scrooge Mcduck" could mean anyone he feels is his rightful heir. Scrooge stated in episode 7, "The Rumble for Ragnarok!" he doesn't trust Donald or Della to work together to protect the world from Jörmungandr and will be passing on this responsibility to Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby. This to me indicates that Scrooge sees those four as his rightful heirs. It's my opinion that even if it wasn't reveal that Webby was related to Scrooge the Papyrus of Binding would have still appeared to Webby.
I however did enjoy the fact Webby was revealed to be related to Scrooge because it resolved a long going mystery in Ducktales universe about Webby's origins similar to how the show resolved the long mystery to what happened to Huey, Dewey, and Louie's mother.
I really enjoyed the series finally, it was great. I'm glad they were able to finish the series in a satisfying way.
    Also a great video :D

Basically, the DuckTales reboot is technically Frank Angones' large fanfiction that gives the Disney Afternoon characters a Marvel Cinematic Universe touch.

The only minor thing that frustrated me about the finale was Bradford.
Despite the fact he murdered three of his teammates and was planning on doing the same with Scrooge's family, he STILL insisted he wasn't a villain; that everything he was doing was for "good reasons." But the thing is I don't fully believe in the idea of "doing bad things for good reasons," especially when the people who believe it do the kind of things Bradford's done.
This is why I hated Amanda Waller in all parts of the DCEU she was in, animated or otherwise. This is why the Sokovia Accord from the MCU felt like a stupid idea. THIS is why Akainu from One Piece is more of a threat to the world than the pirates he hunts after.
THIS is why I firmly believe Batman is the worst superhero in history. Every one of these examples might've been around before Bradford Buzzard's character came into being. But they all follow the "doing bad for good reasons" trope, something that makes them appear more like villains than heroes (or even antiheroes.) But this is just MY opinion here

I am very concerned that the "I swore I'd never do this again," line wasn't actually a joke but the truth disguised as an in joke about how Keith hates being tied to his role as Goliath. (A lot of the roles he's taken since seem to be antithetical to Goliath's character, but perhaps I'm taking things too personally? I remember hearing him voice Lanna's dad, (from Archer) and literally having my heart break when he snapped my childhood in half by being corrupt and taking a bribe.
Like, sure, the actor's going to be problematic outside of their characters but, idk, I can't help but feel he resents Goliath both as a character and role.

I loved the finale, also May and June are clones of Webby ie copies of a copy so they were to diluted to work, its also possible Bradford didn't put two and two together until some point recently as he had never met Webby before, it may not have been until Heron fought her or some other point that he realized this.
