Been playing the Ys 10 demo and I think fans will really love this one as well. Especially for the more mystical side to it, how Adol got his nicknames, etc. It's been a very solid demo thus far though I find the combat more difficult to master than previous titles.

Loved that you covered this, I was interested in the novelization as I’m also a big fan of Ys and a reader as well and after this I definitely think I’ll give it a try. Also nice taste in books I love the storm light archive as well! What is that Priority of an Orange Tree book/series about? The covers for it are incredibly beautiful

I love the Roots of Chaos series covers, so gorgeous. Both are epic fantasy in the same vein as Stormlight, but not as long (800-900 pages per book), the first one is inspired by the legend of Saint George and the dragon but the author gives it a significant twist. Won't go into details in case you want to give it a read, but they're great books.
Hope you enjoy Lacrimosa and Stormlight 5 once that comes next year!

    i agree with u
i just got the ebook from them and it is a good read. It is my favorite YS game by far and it feels like i am reminiscing playing the game all over again

Preordered mine. Won't have time to replay the game and relive all those feeling. Reading will take way less time then playing. If I ever decide to replay the game, I'll have to make full use of the save files to create my own sub chapters.
Ys series need is own Light Novel & Manga once Falcom manage to connect all Adol adventures in the timeline. They don't need to be perfect. People just want to relive their play session without having to replay the game. Reading always being faster then listening to audiobook, watching tv/pc and playing games.

Certainly, it makes revisiting the adventure a lot more accessible.

My first reaction is "why the hell do you want a novelization of a game?" Go play the game!

it's not politicized at all is it? Looking at the authors previous work I am a bit nervous to purchase this

I don't know what you mean by politicized but as I said in the video this is the same story as the game. If you enjoyed the game's story then there's nothing additional that I think would change that in the book

You read the whole book right? By politicized I mean any feminism/lbgtq agenda pushing things that seem to be in everything. You mentioned a romance that took you by surprise as well@@CommRio

their question wasn't that complex, what do you mean you dont know what they mean?@@CommRio

@@B1az1ngSuN it’s not that the question is complicated it’s that it’s vague. People have different ideas of what politicized is and so that’s why I ask, so I can give an accurate answer based on this person’s standards
