There's so so many comments here that say exactly what I would have said. Pure brilliant talent and much more. Swept away down memory lane. I'm now 65. Love this band and their new songs. Sweeping melodic songs & lyrics. Absolutely beautiful 😊

I feel like I was just hypnotised for a full hour and forty one minutes. Simply Red is brilliant. Todays so called singers and bands could learn so much from these guys. So glad I lived my prime through the 80s.

One of the finest voices on Earth. Mick easily proves fine singing does not have to be about screaming or growling or yelling. The control and mastery of his voice and notes are totally mesmerizing.

simply red and mick hucknall are the masters of music. yes, there are a lot of good bands out there, but simply red cannot be beaten, for class, musical mastery and soul. mick still gives me goosebumps every time i hear him. wish they'd come back.

WOW! Mick Hucknall's voice is still strong and beautiful...even in his "older" years! Actually, Mick is only 8 years older than me so, I'm "older", too. Hehehe! I was in 12th grade (senior year) in high school in the U.S. when Simply Red's #1 hit, Holding Back The Years was released around April-May 1986 and I've loved the band Simply Red ever since. Mick Hucknall has such a unique and amazing voice...once of the finest voices I've ever heard and it seems he follows his heart and soul! JUST AMAZING how his voice hasn't changed at all! I've also seen a couple of interviews with Mick on t.v. talk shows and just love how he always praises his father. It sounds like Mr. Hucknall was an amazing man. I've been a fan of Simply Red since the beginning and I'm definitely still a fan!
Hell yah! I was 10 years into my US Navy career and was at USNaval Station Key West and jamming to Simply Red when I first purchased my "early tech CD" of them. Mick is still a favorite of my wife and I. Great memories.
It`s so beautiful to sit here, watching and listening.....now i`m 50 and i miss the 80S so so much. Simply Red is a part of my life in this time and still. What a beautiful music, what a beautiful voice and what special person Mick is.

I have seen Simply Red every time they have come to Australia since the 80’s. They hold a very special place in my heart. My family even got to be in the video clip Home, a big highlight in my life. One of the best life performers I've ever heard. Unbelievable in every second. Had the luck to watch him 6 or 7 times. Even in Lucca Summer Festival, surely one of his best concerts ever.

Mick‘s voice isn‘t one bit less strong or beautiful live than it is in studio recordings. He’s a rare, wild, irresistible talent!!! I adore him, his music and his band. He had my heart with ‚Holding back the years‘ and the whole ‚Picture Book‘ album and I seem to love him more and more and more. I keep going to their concerts and be filled with so many emotions. ❤❤❤

So I watched this for the first time 2 nights ago (6th July 2022) I enjoyed it so much, and here I am again. He sings TO his audience, he smiles to each and every one of them. He has a special aura around him, an incredible voice. Each song is sung clearly and they are all like listening to really interesting personal stories and his life and his love for his loved ones. His whole concert is like going on a special journey. He has a gorgeous smile too. ☺️🙂. And let’s take a moment for his incredibly talented band members, wow.

Me too. I bought Picture Book on tape to play in my car and wore it out. Had to buy the vinyl and record it onto a blank tape so I could still listen on road trips :-) Can't believe that's 35 years ago!!

Avoir été un groupe des années 80 avec autant de succès et se retrouver 30 ans après avec un tel niveau c'est magnifique c'est des artistes tout simplement il n'en font pas trop c'est simplement juste sans artifice démesuré des artistes comme on les aime loin des concerts où on vous mets plein la vue mais où tout est faux le play back le micro pour chanter juste le groupe simply red est et restera pour moi un des meilleurs groupes avec un chanteur à la voix exceptionnelle
What makes this band last so long and be so relevant today still is because even live, he sounds like what he recorded. People don’t want to go to a concert to hear their favorite songs and then it winds up being something different sounding.
His voice is still so strong and beautiful. I have always loved Simply Red.
