That app you use kinda sucks because it's not giving you the correct names for many of the plants. I counted at least 3 or 4 that were wrong
it’s totally normal that the orchids lose their blooming and it doesn’t mean that their doing bad or that they are dead ;)
just keep on caring for them and they will start blooming again! 🥰
How long does it take for the flowers to bloom again?
@@mayaleighjones Well my orchids usually need between 2-3 months ;) it just depends on how well you take care of them ;)

@@mayaleighjones oh I‘m so sorry that’s very sad :/ you may have a look at its roots if they’re still nice and green and full.....if they’re squishy they probably died because of too much water or the wrong substrate 🥴

You can use the propogating water to water the soil or any other plants to save water :)

The second plant is not a deliciosa, it's a monstera adansonii. Your second monstera you show is the deliciosa.
Your "zebra plant" is called a haworthia. A zebra plant is something different.
Your "dumb cane" is actually a different variety of a chinese evergreen. A dumb cane is a dieffenbachia.
I wouldn't rely on those apps, they usually get a majority of the plants wrong.
I would also keep that dying monstera away from your dogs because it's toxic!

Also I’d definitely double check on the toxicity of some!!! Some you mentioned the dogs / cats got to ARE toxic and some in low areas!

LoL my first orchid died so fast but my current 2 were a Bday gift for me so I’ve had them since July 12th and so far they’re doing good 🤞🏼
@C V Did you water them too much? They need like no water, maybe every 2-3 weeks. And was it near a heater? I had mine near a heater and that made the flowers fall off.
C V I honestly have just been following the instructions they came with which was 3 ice cubes weekly, I only do it on Sundays to be easy to remember 😊
C V how much water? They barely need any so whatever 3 Ice cubes is worth.

Florida Girl Talk please don’t give any plants ice cubes, it shocks the plants because it’s too cold. If you look at an orchids roots and they are dry and white, you can dip them in water until the roots turn a light green.

orchids are so tough to take care of. it shouldnt get too much sunlight and should face west. ice cubes once a week :)
No ice cubes, should be properly watered when the roots are dry and white. Ice cubes are too cold and will shock the plant and kill it.

I would definitely get a new app!! Some of the names listed were wrong, but honestly none of them are perfect, so it’s best to not trust those 100%, & it’s pronounced philodendron not philodendrum in case you didn’t know!!
