How to restore the MGB sun visor

This short video show how to restore the MGB GT sun visor. The wood used was 2mm MDF which is very light and white vinyl 0.6mm thick. The original one weighed 293g and the restored one just 326g

I'm looking to redo the visor on my X1/9 project and you've given me some great ideas. I think I'm going to give it a try with coroplast.

Where is The final restoration , I would like to see the vinyl installation,

The covering was beyond restoration and is heat sealed around the perimeter, so this was replaced and sewn along the edge.
