Thanks for the info 👌🏽 on how to remove this, I used a sander and removed about 95% of the limescale on the element, the machine is now working again.
Hotpoint wanted me to pay between £160-300 plus for various insurance plans and a fix included. All sorted thanks 👍🏽

A question for the experts.
Beko washing machine model WTL84151W, four years old, perfect working order. A 60 degree cleaning cycle with cleaning product carried out. Still some dirt around the door seal, manually cleaned. Decided to see what dirt was in the heating element recess. Programme select in OFF position, rear panel removed, discovered live mains at heater element before disconnecting supply leads. So OFF isn't OFF as you would expect. Why?

Hi . My washing machine is BEKO WM74155LW. I think it is not hot the water. I use at 90° to clean the machine, but notice that glass on the door is completely cold. Do i need to buy a new washing machine ?

But, how do you know it's not heating the clothes?
How do you test for this before you start on diagnostics, is there an easy way to find this out?
(mine doesn't have a diagnostic check but goes through whole wash)

If you use this video that I made recently and apply the testing procedure to the heating system on your tumble dryer it would indicate if the tumble dryer element is drawing power. work it out slowly pulling it. mine came out enough to cut the both sides behind the front plate and cut the joint.

You did not say which washing machine you had but most washing machines now are only cold fil if you set the program to a 60 C wash for example it will use the heating system to bring the water up to temperature. Generally how much ohm the resistance of washing machine

then the current drawn is 7.4 amps the ohms reading should be close to 31.00

F01 means your main circuit board or your mother board has fault.
