Your opponent had a stellar opening, but then he went straight for you instead of attacking your Auchenai Soulpriest at 2:35. As someone else posted, your opponent had "tunnel vision .." You played an outstanding game & finally gained board control @ 7:03. "Well played!"
Oh my god that was intense. When he got Jenkins from Thoughtsteal I started going crazy and laughing maniacally like "Oh my god Kripp's at 5 health and his opponent has Leeroy Jenkins in his deck oh my god please don't draw it please don't draw it"
I was once a Shaman with 2 HP versus a Fighter with 45ish after all the armorsmithing and armor buffing he did. And somehow, slowly but surely, I beat the everloving shit out of him with some windfury power. I seriously lucked out, considering the high likelihood of a Fighter having a weapon or a charge character.
lol well it was amusing but as to "how did i win?" the answer seems pretty simple: your opponent was kinda dumb. :P he kept going for your health (with those terrifying 1 dmg minions) instead of making obvious beneficial trades. the start was pretty scary but he just threw hard.
to be fair, Kripp was at 5 hp most of the game, the opponent was hoping to draw leeroy to win, keeping him always at that range, not letting him heal back up
My thoughts exactly. Derp, let's leave alive the Soulpriest when both it and its ability will allow for the Argent Commander to trade into my 6/6. If the dumbass gives up a single point of damage on his Argent Squire at the point, he probably would have won. There were other stupid moments where he left shit alive unnecessarily, to be sure, but that one really stuck in my mind. It was just straight up idiotic.
+OmegaExalted, Acolyte of Hatred I realize this is really late but since no one has answered your question. It's because the worgen (when damaged) would be doing 8 damage a turn while the lightspawn was only doing 4. Also, the opposing priest knows that Kripp has to heal himself in order to stay alive so he can't spend his hero power on the lightspawn. He was really hoping to draw Leeroy to win the game and playing a "control" strategy where you do what Bloody Ax said, wouldn't help you do that. He had to push for damage to get the win and Kripp played this game magnificently.
Even if he simply kills the soulpriest instead of SMOrcing, that is a very different game. The enforcer can't be killed on the next turn and he has lethal.
you played one of two classes whose hero power lets them recover from a horrible start (the other being warrior). And your opponent played badly because apparently he didn't realize you can outheal his 1 attack minions.
that guy played horrible. he allowed you to get perfect trades just to squeeze in 1 extra damage. and double the health of 1/7 instead of 4/3, seems legit :P
he actaully could have squuezed in more dmg if he instead of mindspiking a minion at 1 health used his divine shield or his 1/a billion to kill it i think he missed out on 2 or 3 dmg that way
Its not the comeback from low health that I think is priest specific. Its how he was able to react to the specific moves the other priest made. Priests have the best hard removal, the best buffs, great aoe, the best heals, and the best card draw. Hands down the most unfun class to play against. Even wins tend to be long and excruciating.
+politicsequalsgarbag RNG was on the enemy priest all along, he just played extremely poorly. dealing an extra 3 damage to face and forfeiting the temple enforcer? That's ludicrous.
Nice man!! I won a game where i was at 5 hp and the warrior was at 30 + 10 Armor. I swear this game in particular i remember as the best rng and patience i had in this game !
***** First of all I am insulting you, second of all I haven't raised any points to contradict your imaginary argument you're having with nobody. Who exactly are you trying to convince?
WoW where did that gnome learn to juggle so well? I need to send my knife jugglers there for som training. also Bombers please stop throwing all yer bombs at me face thanks
the thing he was going for with the 1/14 would be an inner fire combo (minions attack is equal to minion health for 1 mana) good combo, makes preist insane, in constructed I've had turn 6 36/36 on a few occasions with mugushin warden and guru berserker (7 health + 2 power shield, double, double, inner fire = 36/36 easy turn 6) preist is prettty nasty, and shadow form basically makes it have similar aspects of mage (mind blast 5 damage for 2 mana, 2 mind blasts = 10 damage, easy to get them down to kill range and have them
HS is about 4 things. 1: The deck 2. The RNG 3. Making no mistakes (aka skill) 4 And most important: FUN Its far from ''ALL'' about skill as i see some people think
So much nonsense in the comment section, just watch Cositox's plays. He could have ended the game by playing smarter, but he got greedy and made stupid plays. Trace all the way back to Turn 4 where he plays a Novice Engineer which he just tops deck instead of the first card in his hand that Krip Mind Visions a turn later, the Lightspawn. Realize what this guy's hand was on turn 4. 1. Lightspawn (4 cost) 2. Mind Control Tech (3 cost) 3. Temple Enforcer (6 cost) 4. Novice Engineer (2 cost) Turn 5 he gets a Darkscale Healer. Simply put, he could have just dropped Light spawn Turn 4, killed the Auchenai Soulpriest and won the game. What could Krip do on turn 5? Lightspawn + Mind Vision or Mercenary? He puts Krip at 17 HP and no board if he throws his chump minions at the Soulpriest and his side would be: - 5/5 Lightspawn - 3/2 Knife Juggler - 2/2 Young Priestess - 1/1 Argent Squire without shield What is Krip going to do? He has nothing to deal with it, he tops deck Shadow Ward: Pain turn 5 and has what to kill? If he takes out Knife Juggler, he can't play cards and takes 8 points of damage to the face and still can't kill the Lightspawn the turn after with anything. He literally just dies because to board control. Game would have probably ended around Turn 7 or 8. Krip literally has nothing to deal with the Lightspawn which on turn 5, Cositox can just play Mind Control Tech and Novice Engineer followed up by Temple Enforcer Lightspawn, gg. Krip took advantage of this guy's play and he does deserve the credit, stupid or not, Krip got a lot of bad luck with Mind Control Tech stealing stuff, but mistakes were already made that swung the control into his favor and he did whatever he could to recover. Cositox's deck was insane, he just misplayed early on and could never recover due to it and honestly, it happens to everyone. Sometimes we're just in the mood to finish or maybe he recognized Krip's name and wanted to end the game quick. Either way, this would probably be a great game to teach a beginner some fundamentals with.
True but it's still freaking retarded seeing as kripp had like 5 health at that point or something. He didn't even need to double the health for Inner Fire to be lethal. Would've been much better for him to double a more valuable minion.
Opponent started controlling the board sometime after he changed his hero ability, and he probably would have won if he just threw plasma at your face every turn after that.
The question is how did you not get that new quest for an hour? Hold up, I'm about to do some serious detective work. New quests are given to all HS players at 12 p.m. PST (Pacific (West-coast) Standard Time). Kripp, in a battle with Trump, once stated, "There's lag. That must be because you're on west coast I'm on east coast." EST (Eastern standard time), is 3 hours ahead of PST. Which means that quests should be hitting the eastern seaboard at 3 AM. And yet this says that he's getting a new quest at... 4:08? Kripp, either your computer's clockerino is off, or the Kripperino lives in a floating necropolis over the atlanticlino.
Vensey Ness Because the quests USED to reset at 2 am PST, until recently, and they slowly changed it to midnight PDT/PST with the daylight savings changes. So, if he is in central? I think, he is 2 hours ahead of PST and so at 4 am, aka 2 am PST/PDT he would get the daily.
Okay you all saying Kripp was lucky or the other priest had bad draws, that's not the real reason why Kripp won. Kripp won because of the other priest's decision to attack the hero instead of killing the soulpriest on turns 4 AND 5. On turn 4, because he did not kill the soulpriest, it allowed kripp to take out 3 of his minions and his lightspawn on turn 5. If he just kept clearing the board, take out the soulpriest and made sure kripp did not snowball too many minions onto his board, he would have won. This video just shows a sad priest too eager to win and throwing his game away.
He won because he silenced Raging Worgen and not the Light Spawn. That's 11 damage that went through for free, he would have been at 25 health after the 2nd light spawn hit - with Leeroy and everything thing else Krip does only 18 damage. That leaves the other player a turn to possibly top deck a win.
that has to be the luckiest priest ever. Got 2 legendaries in draft, and had the best opener possible, with great minions, and gets the luckiest juggles ever. Yet he still loses. Just sad.
Athanasios Diamantidis Shadow madness only persists until the end of the turn, so if he did that if he didn't make it lose 14 health while it's a friendly minion, next turn his opponent would have a 14/14 and the game would be over.
priest should of killed ur shadow priestess asap, when he left it in the board u could use ur hero power to take out a couple extra minions, i think that was the turning point when he let it live with like 2-3 hp left
I was expecting a Shadow Madness into Inner Fire the whole time.
Your opponent had a stellar opening, but then he went straight for you instead of attacking your Auchenai Soulpriest at 2:35. As someone else posted, your opponent had "tunnel vision .." You played an outstanding game & finally gained board control @ 7:03. "Well played!"
You won because you're god
you're*
Kevin Erkelenz No, he meant because of Kripp's god. Kripp is all about RNGesus.
Kevin Erkelenz dont be that guy
Kevin Erkelenz
Shame on you, you fuckin marinara meatball.
"because of your god" or "because you're god"
dat 1/14 novice engineer though
The priest was waiting for inner fire, so it would become 14/14
LMAO!!
His opponent made a ton of mistakes but the one that made me facepalm most was the silence at 9:30
8:09 love those kripp moments
A typhoon entered his room, you wouldve done the same.
Oh my god that was intense. When he got Jenkins from Thoughtsteal I started going crazy and laughing maniacally like "Oh my god Kripp's at 5 health and his opponent has Leeroy Jenkins in his deck oh my god please don't draw it please don't draw it"
***** You forgot about Shadow Form hero power.
Same here, I thought Kripp was screwed
opponent played that so badly
I was once a Shaman with 2 HP versus a Fighter with 45ish after all the armorsmithing and armor buffing he did.
And somehow, slowly but surely, I beat the everloving shit out of him with some windfury power. I seriously lucked out, considering the high likelihood of a Fighter having a weapon or a charge character.
Cool story
***** when the replies get more likes than the comment...
Fighter lmao xDDDDDD
***** ?
hehe. these comments in reply to the "fighter" post are just precious lol
wow what a game!! i was on the edge of my seat, well played kripp
lol well it was amusing but as to "how did i win?" the answer seems pretty simple: your opponent was kinda dumb. :P
he kept going for your health (with those terrifying 1 dmg minions) instead of making obvious beneficial trades. the start was pretty scary but he just threw hard.
to be fair, Kripp was at 5 hp most of the game, the opponent was hoping to draw leeroy to win, keeping him always at that range, not letting him heal back up
Maybe, but maybe Leeroy isnt even in the guy's deck.
I saw this video ages ago though so honestly I don't even remember what happened lol.
Neenjah Rammus Leeroy was in the guys deck because he thoughtstole it
My thoughts exactly.
It was just straight up idiotic.
if he kept going for face he would won but he stopped
How come I never get opponents that give 14 health to a freaking engineer >.
I was expecting an inner fire.... 14-14 engineer :P
macrepyh2 Same here xD
macrepyh2 I bet he had and was banking on it.
9:25 - Plays Spellbreaker, silences the Worgen instead of the Lightspawn.
*Why.*
+OmegaExalted
He isn't so bright. I would have silenced lightspawn, hit worgen with inventor, and mindspike, then proceed to do that next turn.
+OmegaExalted, Acolyte of Hatred I realize this is really late but since no one has answered your question. It's because the worgen (when damaged) would be doing 8 damage a turn while the lightspawn was only doing 4. Oh wow I thought for sure the title was an overstatement but it was an understatement.... Dat Priest....XD
you played one of two classes whose hero power lets them recover from a horrible start (the other being warrior). And your opponent played badly because apparently he didn't realize you can outheal his 1 attack minions.
that guy played horrible. he allowed you to get perfect trades just to squeeze in 1 extra damage. and double the health of 1/7 instead of 4/3, seems legit :P
but think of the toughness!
he actaully could have squuezed in more dmg if he instead of mindspiking a minion at 1 health used his divine shield or his 1/a billion to kill it
i think he missed out on 2 or 3 dmg that way
Or maybe he had Inner Fire in the deck.
cemuhc Win the game the way good players do Vs. win the game with cheese.
Obviously, the SP didn't even notice the first option to begin with.
That was the craziest priest opener I've seen in a while.
only bullshit priest could comeback from an onslaught like that. Although smart play and props for not conceding.
You've never played the game, have you?
yawn
Its not the comeback from low health that I think is priest specific. Its how he was able to react to the specific moves the other priest made. Priests have the best hard removal, the best buffs, great aoe, the best heals, and the best card draw. Hands down the most unfun class to play against. Even wins tend to be long and excruciating.
Any deck can come back from that idiot numpty throwing his shit away. He left that Soulpriest up forever and it traded like 4 for 1
That guy was so fucking bad! Play knife juggler and then from that point on every card usage is totally random
That game was ridiculous
RNG ended up tanking the opposing Priest way harder than it helped him/her in the beginning. Didn't hurt that Krip had bigger toys to throw around.
You know shit's gettin real when Kripp is talking quietly
When he mind controlled your opponents minion and you almost fell outta your chair throwing your hands up behind you I lol'd.
You won because the other player got tunnel vision and only went for you. He could have killed you if he played right
Kripp is a god...among men.
***** But he's good at what he's doing , unlike some of us sitting in front of a computer not actually perfecting anything
Why not praise the god rather than making his strategical thinking skills seem so basic
***** Everything you say is being discredited by that avatar.
He's just jealous he cant even get to such a title
***** First of all I am insulting you, second of all I haven't raised any points to contradict your imaginary argument you're having with nobody. Who exactly are you trying to convince?
Ah this video was taken at a much simpler time. Now adays Kripp wouldve never had that much time to stabilize.
"Lets play a game winner will be determined but luck and around 10% of you skill"
WoW where did that gnome learn to juggle so well? I need to send my knife jugglers there for som training. also Bombers please stop throwing all yer bombs at me face thanks
wth, the enemy priest lost his shadow form aura around his portrait at 10:00 when the light spawn attacked?
You won because your opponent was mentally handicapped. He left the Soulpriest alive and just tunneled you with 1 damage minions.
Olly shit i'm on a win streak.
8:10 best move ever

@4:30, your opponent not killing your 3/1 Soul Priest saved you there. That's what he gets for being a fucking greedy POS
good shit bro.
Opponent started controlling the board sometime after he changed his hero ability, and he probably would have won if he just threw plasma at your face every turn after that.
Priest got cocky, that's why.
That's why heartstone is so nice, anything can happen so don't rage quit!
at 5th mana crystal your opponent ceased to think
good hand in the end + right decisions + luck. Well played )
8:30 Shadow madness temple enforcer into illidan, gg.
the RNG gods are strong with this one :)
What's RNG, that's not the first time I see it
Chris Andreev Random Number Generator

F*CK YOU!!
That priest deck was near insane
the opponent was terribad
Lol that's the whole game! Luckstone: Heroes of Luckcraft. Give sacrifice to the rng gods!
He was waiting for Inner Fire or Leeroy for quite a while there :P
8:11-8:15 is now my new favorite gif of all time
Awesome turnaround there ^_^
Hah watched this game live, was craaazy game till the very end :D After that series of games, this was refreshing comeback :D DAT JUGGLE! xD
That long wait for inner fire lol

New quests hit at 11PM UK time.
I love you
How hearthstone works either:
1. RNG based because you can't build decks.
2. Skills based because you build a good deck.
I am in happy shock. That was amazing.
wow , this game is just whoa!!!
Great comeback Kripp
dat D2 shirt ... i got the same one Mint condition :D
he never got his precious inner fire ;)
Why didn't you upload the VOD of you winning against someone who had full health yesterday?
8:07-8:11 wow..WOW. I can't stop laughing
out-played him man. nice work.
does that goblin really say "nigga you gotta be kidding me?"
9:55 Did anyone else notice that after the light spawn attacked the enemy shadow priest portrait when back to the original.
The Light Spawn cleansed the darkness from the priest *Kappa*
and that's why you never concede
amazing god must been whit you all the time * Blizzard*
your head became like a potato after that game xD
Armature play, what's to post about?
How did you win? Heart of the motherfucking cards, that's how!

now that was terrible opponent
How did you kill something with Lesser Heal aroud 3:45?
08:50 you could do much better here, but gj nice video kripp! :D
that has to be the luckiest priest ever. Got 2 legendaries in draft, and had the best opener possible, with great minions, and gets the luckiest juggles ever. Yet he still loses. Just sad.
yeah because he misplay alot, instead of kill kripp minion he goes for face
Holy crap, Epic win!
Well played.. Well Met.
love the d2 shirt...dont mind pwning you with my b ith eth blade and 4 soc b valor with a few occy rings from down the line
I have no idea how this game works. Can someone describe to me how big Kripparian's comeback was?
You should just use a little Kripp-Wobblehead and use it in the Intro :D
Y-y-you gotta be kitten me!
there were at least 2 times, he got greedy and went straight for you when he could've gotten rid of your board card
Thought he was gonna shadow madness the engineer after getting inner fire from thoughtsteal...
Athanasios Diamantidis Shadow madness only persists until the end of the turn, so if he did that if he didn't make it lose 14 health while it's a friendly minion, next turn his opponent would have a 14/14 and the game would be over.
how do you get the 60 coin reward quests? mine only reward 40
Let me explain how you won: YOU RULE!
Great win. gg.
priest should of killed ur shadow priestess asap, when he left it in the board u could use ur hero power to take out a couple extra minions, i think that was the turning point when he let it live with like 2-3 hp left
Unstoppable.
dont think that dude knew what board control was
