For everyone pointing out he had 12 damage and was lethal, and then later corrected about the fact that the engineer couldn't attack. He had 6 dmg from the totems +2 from the axe (Notice: He had 2 charges on that axe) that means 8 dmg to the face and the druid had 9 which as many have pointed out - he would've been left with one life. Fast forward to the opponent's turn and ALL HE DID was hero power... *which if he had gone all in* he would've been left at ONE life and ONE shield.. Axe still had a charge. Would have dealt 2 damage. Would have won. GG Kripp sometimes being overly safe throws the game.

First, is using hero power, get a totem use Bloodlust and now that totem now has +3 attack and use that totem to hit him. However, that wouldn't work, since just like the Novice Engineer the totem is spawned spawned the turn bloodlust is played, so the totem can not yet attack. Second, is using hero power and hope to get Wrath of Air totem and then because the WoA gives spell power, the bloodlust would then give +4 to each minion and thus 3 extra damage spread as 1 extra damage to each minion, that however does not work either, Spell Damage (Power) does not increase Bloodlust damage buff. (In fact, I don't think Spell Damage does not boost any defensive spells, but do not quote me on this). Hope that answers your question, if that is not what you meant, then please expand your post and I'll try to answer your question.

at 10:00 if you had summoned a totem before killing your existing totems , there was a 50/50% chance to get searing totem and u will have had the chance to deal that lethal extra damage next turn

I got Hearthstone beta and second turn seems to be over powered. It gives you an extra card and a mana coin card. The randomness of what you get from the packs seems poor so you take a while to build up your deck.
Actually in most matchups as most classes, statistically speaking going in first wins more as released by blizzard. The reason 2nd turn feels wrong right now (or at least when you reach a high enough level) is due to the coin not being as much of a "balancing" factor as it is a special card for many classes. For mage's mana wyrm, it's a spell to feed on. For rogue, it's a card to combo off of. These make certain cards and certain situations extremely different for going in first or second and that shouldn't be something of the coin's purpose. Without these, going in 2nd with a coin and extra card still puts you behind in most cases. But there are classes and decks that prefer to go 2nd. So those are things you can play around of and what the metagames shift for; but the ultimate bullshit in coin is that it's a spell and a card. As for building the decks slowly. I half-agree. It's just the options are so limited that for slow starters and non-money-spenders it will be quite the grind. And the only good place to grind for cards is arena. But once you get it going. It's quite fast. I play about 2hrs a day and that's about 2-3 arena runs for me. I can't finish my gold just due to arena rewards (avg 6+ wins) + quest so on average I've been opening ~2.5 packs a day for the last 10-15 days. Learning to play the arena takes quite the effort and trying but not that much time (for the learning part, it still takes a long time to actually arena). However I think that "having to play arena" just so you can play constructed seems weird, as these are two very different things. You can't slowly build your deck up while playing it is very weird if you've played any physical TCG. In fact now I'm quite bored with constructed and find it annoying I have to get random cards as reward instead of coins in arena. They really should reconsider the overall structure of the game, but for now, it is what it is.
I would agree with the grind if you enjoy constructed, but I have yet to use any real currency and have 3 legends (prophet velen, lady sylvannas, lord jaraxxas) already after about 2-4 weeks of playing off and on. I pretty much just do dailies till 150g for arena, play the arena till I get my 3 losses and get my packs. It is fun but I do not play this game as my core go-to game.
