Spalted Maple Short Scale Fretless Bass

Towards the end I try to demonstrate to ridiculous harmonics that can come from a short scale fretless bass.

This is a 30” short scale fretless bass
The top of the body is joined Spalted Maple . The back of the guitar is a African River Stripe Mahogany With a Spalted Maple Stripe. The body has been completely chambered and has an absolutely amazing finish. The body is hand carved and designed to minimize weight and improve resonance.
The neck is Spalted Mapke with a stunning Birdseye Maple Fretboard. White fret lines and black side dots. The neck has been fashioned to a thin "C” shape with a comfortable circumference making it easy to play and reach strings. The nut is 42mm wide (this is the same width as a standard J Bass).
The fretboard is radiused to a 12” for playing comfortability and a has a slightly rounded top.
Slotted with a bone nut.
The guitar has a Poly Blend cured finish. This helps keep the weight of the instrument down and keeps the body resonate. This is a set neck guitar.
