- Johnny and Will showing you defensive boxing tips and tricks to slip punches and use head movement without feeling "predictable" in a fight. We share plenty of easy movement tactics using change of direction, and movement...instead of exhausting mistakes like trying to change speed or being too herky-jerky. At the end of the day, you want to communicate a relaxed state of mind and CONFIDENCE in a fight...not an panic/stressed state and EVASIVE fear behavior.

Thank you! This really helps me. I’m very thankful for your instruction.
You're very welcome.
Hi, loving the content recently. As a boxing channel myself this is really interesting to watch!
I noticed I get predictable when I perry/catch my opponents jab ( orthodox vs orthodox) with my rear hand and I have been caught with a left hook because of it, same thing I would have done if someone was perrying my jabs then I would faint the jab and turn it into a hook. But that's how i have been caught in the past so I'm learning to very my defense for the jab rather then the same perry(or anything) I keep doing over and over. It seems like the jab is the most thrown punch at me imo so I been practicing on changing it up. Same concept as this video as far as not being predictable. I also realize a good "go to" when I have to make an adjustment no matter what it is most of the time FAINTS! I realized over the years how important faints are. When I don't have an answer for something I'll Faint. Even using slips as faints, even as you were explaining changing up the pattern that same concept can be applied in any area in boxing and will find success.
I feel the whole concept of this video is solid info and a game changer. Thanks for taking the time to put out vital Info that every boxer should know.
Great video, guys. Hearing input and advice from both points of views is really helpful. Keep up the great work!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Johnny from Expertboxing helped me in my early days of training in 2012. Still coming back to the channel and recommending you to friends!
Thanks so much, my friend. I'm really glad you like it. 10 years goes by so fast.
Bedankt
OH THANK YOU SO MUCH! Do you have any video topic requests? :)
Are you wearing your D'nardo gloves? You think you might do a review soon?
I already have...(at least I think I did)
@@expertboxing I'd love to watch your di nardo review if you direct me to it. I cannot seem to find it, maybe you forgot to upload?
Maybe I only did it in written form on the site. hmmmm
@@expertboxing 😂 gotcha!
Nice video. I recommend make a video on timing, I've been struggling with it, and i'm sure many beginners are. That "i'm johnny from expert boxing" is forever on my head now.
hahahha yes, all my friends mimic that line around me “derp derp derp, i’m johnny from expertboxing. ahaha”
ahhh, and you meaning the timing for slipping right? i have a video on that coming in some months.
@@expertboxing lol, looking forward
