Ahhhh. Brings me back to my childhood and the first action figure I ever got as a kid. It made me into the collector I am today. Great review as always.
We share the same beginnings into collecting. Motu action figures in the 80s is what made me start collecting as a kid. Crazy how those early days stick with us. Thanks for watching and commenting.
When I saw the first pictures back then, I knew I was going to get them. The statue is a masterpiece and a must have. I have mine under the Christmas tree this year (well next to it 😃). I'm totally happy with it. They got a perfect head of He-Man👱 and also the whole figure perfectly.
Would have been cool to put that Teela you have there or the Mer man beside it at the end of the video for scale comparison. i know one is 1:6 and one is 1:5, but just to see visually. I have both of those but i ordered this Heman from BBTS so i still havent got it yet. I have a rough idea, tho.
I have to say: after getting the Mondo 1/6 scale battle cat and He-Man that if you attempt to do this pose- and you can pretty much get close to it - joints aside it's actually a better value. If it's one sixth scale you just have more you can do with the Mondo version. You don't have to worry about a base, the cat can pose any way you want, he has three different heads (and Cringer as a pup) he man can be three different versions of he man, he comes with all of his weapons including a much better shield and you have other figures that you can get in the same scale. But I guess the statue collectors you kind of stuck with what they give you. But for the money you actually make up better going with mondo. In 1/6 scale.
I have not seen that in person but I like what I've seen in pictures. Personally, I collect statues because of the paint and details plus the lack of noticeable seam lines but each one of us has our own preference. I'm glad that you like your mondo piece. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Very nice...im on the fence about getting it. Just dont want to pay 1k for a 1/6th that feels hollow. Ive seen other reviews and they say the same that battlecat feels kinda cheap and hollow but that the piece overall is impressive. Im torn. Whats your suggestion? Dope review btw
I completely understand your hesitation for the reasons you stated. Obviously it's your call but I'm very happy with it. It looks amazing, and it's huge. Once In hand, I understood why they priced it like that.
Hello! I heard the base and the Battlecat are not fully cast. Instead they are hollow cause instead there would be to hevay and have then after time maybe leaning problems. Could you say how heavy this parts are? And is the He-Man figure also hollow or is the complete body full cast? Thank you! I think about ordering this awesome piece for myself.
The base and battlecat are hollow, but feel sturdy. He-man himself is solid and a little weight to him. It's a well engineered statue, and these choices were made for weight and balance issues. It's an impressive statue.
@@vividcollectibles so He-Man is complete solid? That sounds good. This complete Statue is a technical Masterpiece. Never seen a better MOTU Statue. Is the surface on the saddle where He-Man sits sculpted Resin or real leather?

This is definitely a home run for tweeterhead. Congratulations on getting this.
@@vividcollectibles 😃👍THX
At 8:17 the Iron Cross is the classic logo. The “H” that you have on the statue is the newer insignia that debut with battle-armour He-Man.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Badass piece congrats
Badass indeed Dennis, thank you.
It looks awesome!!! Congratulations!!!
Thanks jp! Tweeterhead has been doing some great work lately.

I didn't even think about that 😕 it would have been a good idea. The scales mesh ok but they are different lines completely.
Congrats that statue is amazing!
Thank you!
Amazing piece. Not something I'm nostalgic for but if I was, this and the life size skeletor bust would be the only 2 pieces in my collection.
That skeletor bust looks amazing but I don't collect busts. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@vividcollectibles cool...thanks bro. Everyone seems happy with it. Gonna have to get it.

@@ThomasAnslinger The saddle is sculpted on this. It's fully sculpted with no mixed-media elements.
I have already mer-man, this is one is waouwwww
Tweeterhead has done a really great job with their motu license so far.
crazy good
It definitely turned out great.
This is the greatest He-Man sculpt! Can't afford it..
It's really well done but definitely on the pricey side.
