Panthers fan here, trying not to grossly over estimate what this team is possible of but I’ve been a firm believer over the past 2 seasons that our moves in free agency have been very good pickups… trying not to get excited but there could be some hope here
The reason why Bryce young’s career is not over is because he needs to let the routes develop. He wasn’t doing that the first 2 weeks. He’s got to focus on stepping up in the pocket and sliding out. Great vid
I'll tell you what's even more impressive than Dalton is the coaching staff. I don't know if Carolina ever had a staff like this, the play calling is off the chart.
Dalton has a lifetime qbr of around 89, that would put him around 13-14th in the league compared to this season so far. I agree with that, I think he will be around that range or a QB for the Panthers.
I’m gonna have to watch your breakdowns on my squad. We’ve been struggling for some years, but Andy has been had a rifle arm. Last year when the Panthers played the Seahawks and Bryce was hurt it was the same Andy Dalton then that you saw today. I would have started him the game after the Seahawks.
I have been waiting for this since Seattle Game of last year Bryce Young got hurt in week2 and Andy had to play in week 3 of last year in Seattle in which the Panthers scored 25-30 points or something like that. And it would have been an incredible opportunity to have made a statement if you were the Panthers saying "Bryce is hurt and we don't want to hurt him further" keep Bryce on the sidelines, and then let Andy Dalton play the whole season. And if /when Andy Dalton would become a monster then you would of had high trade value for Bryce Young and if Andy played last season, the Panthers could have made the playoffs, The Bucs got in with 9-8 record or something, if Andy played from week 3 last year all the way Panthers could have competed for that 9-8 spot But no, Tepper kept pushing the kid out into nothing and then now has no trade value for the number 1 pick Tepper screwed that entire team up but if they keep playing Andy Dalton they will be set
Amazing what they can do with a good quarterback leading them. They should trade Young while he still has some value for a backup punter or something anything.
You, and every other person who is not a Carolina Panthers fan, who hasn’t watched every second of every Panthers game for the last year and a half. I don’t know why people talk about things that they don’t even watch.
@x416xmusic, yep, us fans knew Bryce was the problem didn’t know we were going to respond like this but we could look proficient on offense if Andy Played.
The oline getting disrespected the first 2 weeks is what made me mad as a fan. It was clear QB play was holding the team back but EVERYONE wanted to blame the other 10 players on offense as well as the organization for reasons I will never understand.
I'm hesitant to predict any record because Andy still has his age working against him. Let's say they go on a run and win the next 5-6 out of 8 and something happens to Dalton. Then we've got a team sitting at 6-7 wins with 6 more games to go and nobody at QB but Bryce and Jack. The last six games are 3 division games and then DAL, PHI, and ARI. We know Bryce or Jack won't beat those guys, so that would leave a 6-11 or 7-10 team. If Andy does stay healthy and continues to play anywhere close to this level, we could easily be looking at an 8-10 win team. I'm itching now to see how he does against his original team, and then it will be a more drawn-out process of seeing how consistent he can be before KC comes to town in November.
Let’s see what the rest of the season brings. The defensive coordinators had zero film to go off of with Andy Dalton as quarterback. Let’s see how teams adjust.
As a panthers fan, this is frustrating, because everyone is seeing what I’ve been saying for 3 weeks now. The panthers have a top 10 o-line. The WR room is massively underrated and was revamped. Chuba Hubbard is a fantastic dual threat RB and would be a pro bowler on any other team. Bryce young is too small. He can’t read defenses, he can’t see over his own line, he lacks pocket awareness, and has no arm strength. He never should’ve been drafted
It's just one game and it was played with a shot of adrenaline. The team finally figured out that they were replaceable and played like their jobs depended on it. When that wears off and they turn complacent again, they will be the old Panthers we know and despise.
DONT GET TOO EXCITED IF YOU ARE A PANTHER FAN, Andy Dalton has no more years after this one on his contract The smart move would be to trade Bryce and sign Andy to a 3year deal pushing him to 40 years old and then trying to build a new QB behind him, but it doesn't seem like that will be the case based off of deals the Panthers have done recently If the Panthers were smart about it Trade Bryce Young to 49ers for Dobbs and a 2nd round draft pick. And sign Dalton to a 2-3 year deal Trade Bryce to Miami for a 2nd round draft pick Trade Bryce Young to Titans for a pick(least likely)
I knew Andy Dalton was the natural choice for this team once he had that one breakout game. Then he was being a team player supporting Bryce as the choice for the future, knowing the shadow of supporting leadership as it existed. I don't buy the sympathy card for Bryce, not from Nate Burleson and not from Cameron J. Newton. He doesn't have it, and if he does, he has a weird way of showing it.
Dalton looked elite out there, slinging that ball effortlessly, looking like Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers out there. He made average receivers look elite out there.
The Owner is an idiot and Bryce is far too young to be starting for a already failing team; good work Dalton you got a tough season ahead but that seat is yours
This is coming from a Bengals fan. Andy Dalton always plays good in September and October. So I am not surprised here, but he always disappears in primetime and playoff games
Andy Dalton is a grown man and a pro athlete. Bryce Young is a kid and undersized. Insane that they drafted him #1 overall. Sounds like the owner interfered with Frank Reich. Man, owners making football decisions seems to never go well does it? Gross.
All the media BS last week about how this was all the Panthers' fault and the coaching and the weapons and the owner...blah blah blah. Bryce Young has zero elite skills or physical traits and doesn't belong in the NFL.
Why is everyone so surprised that Andy Dalton is good? He always has been. His time with the Bengals should have proved that already. Look at his stats and passer rating from then. He was the highest rated QB in the league being on one of the worst teams there was
If you know anything about the NFL this outcome was easy to predict, none of his teammates wanted to play for Young. ANY QB could of performed better than Young!
This game lets you know that we are just a QB away from playing good football. Andy is aging so I don’t expect much from him. Us Carolina fans needed to see if our offense was any good and that was not happening with Bryce.
Dalton took the Bengals to the playoffs like 5 times, why is a game like this a surprise to anyone. Can he mess up a game? Sure but dude has an arm and cant put up these type of games regularly.
So you are phenomenal in college, first round pick in the NFL,everything goes horrible, you get benched, other guy comes in and immediately turns the whole thing around. Man I hope Bryce gets to keep the money because his confidence is ruined

Panthers fan here, trying not to grossly over estimate what this team is possible of but I’ve been a firm believer over the past 2 seasons that our moves in free agency have been very good pickups… trying not to get excited but there could be some hope here
I respect you for admitting that, most just faded away.. Hell yeah brother!
I hope my Titans Bench Levis and play Mason Rudolph. I hope we get a spark like you guys
Those throws - can’t defend them. He’s a true pro and clear vet.
I have been waiting for this since Seattle Game of last year
Bryce Young got hurt in week2 and Andy had to play in week 3 of last year in Seattle in which the Panthers scored 25-30 points or something like that. And it would have been an incredible opportunity to have made a statement if you were the Panthers saying
"Bryce is hurt and we don't want to hurt him further" keep Bryce on the sidelines, and then let Andy Dalton play the whole season. And if /when Andy Dalton would become a monster then you would of had high trade value for Bryce Young and if Andy played last season, the Panthers could have made the playoffs, The Bucs got in with 9-8 record or something, if Andy played from week 3 last year all the way Panthers could have competed for that 9-8 spot
But no, Tepper kept pushing the kid out into nothing and then now has no trade value for the number 1 pick
Tepper screwed that entire team up but if they keep playing Andy Dalton they will be set
Facts, people been talking without ever watching a panthers game
@x416xmusic, yep, us fans knew Bryce was the problem didn’t know we were going to respond like this but we could look proficient on offense if Andy Played.
Our team isn’t bad bro , never has been. Bryce has been the problem
Was at the Chargers home game … NIGHT & DAY difference … Panthers fan since 03 … getting me a Dalton jersey
About damn time; Panthers improve 1-2
Is not that you don't get it! But Andy Dalton been around hanging around I'm suprice he hasn't retired he's like another Tom Brady
It's just one game and it was played with a shot of adrenaline. The team finally figured out that they were replaceable and played like their jobs depended on it. When that wears off and they turn complacent again, they will be the old Panthers we know and despise.
DONT GET TOO EXCITED IF YOU ARE A PANTHER FAN, Andy Dalton has no more years after this one on his contract
The smart move would be to trade Bryce and sign Andy to a 3year deal pushing him to 40 years old and then trying to build a new QB behind him, but it doesn't seem like that will be the case based off of deals the Panthers have done recently
If the Panthers were smart about it
Trade Bryce Young to 49ers for Dobbs and a 2nd round draft pick.
And sign Dalton to a 2-3 year deal
Trade Bryce to Miami for a 2nd round draft pick
Trade Bryce Young to Titans for a pick(least likely)
They literally needed to sit that man Bryce behind an actual quarterback and let him learn the NFL way of things.
Everything tasted good today
I knew Andy Dalton was the natural choice for this team once he had that one breakout game. Then he was being a team player supporting Bryce as the choice for the future, knowing the shadow of supporting leadership as it existed. I don't buy the sympathy card for Bryce, not from Nate Burleson and not from Cameron J. Newton. He doesn't have it, and if he does, he has a weird way of showing it.
Dalton looked elite out there, slinging that ball effortlessly, looking like Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers out there. He made average receivers look elite out there.
Dionte Johnson and Adam thielen are elite receivers.
@@trghv3757not elite but definitely good to above average
I love accountability if predictions aren’t right. A lot of football analysts that get paid millions won’t do the same
He was good at the Bengals. Always wondered how he fell off so quickly? I think he took the Bengals to 5 playoffs. So it’s not like he ever sucked.
I just hope Adam is okay and can play next weekend
That's right my bag that's crazy
I wanna see the All22 breakdown lf this game
The Owner is an idiot and Bryce is far too young to be starting for a already failing team; good work Dalton you got a tough season ahead but that seat is yours
This is coming from a Bengals fan. Andy Dalton always plays good in September and October. So I am not surprised here, but he always disappears in primetime and playoff games
I can attest to this: I’m a Texans fan. He always lost in the postseason and it feels like it was always Houston.
All the byrce young defenders wanted to blame the team. Had everyone thinking the team sucked smh. When the whole time it was #9..
Andy Dalton is a grown man and a pro athlete. Bryce Young is a kid and undersized. Insane that they drafted him #1 overall. Sounds like the owner interfered with Frank Reich. Man, owners making football decisions seems to never go well does it? Gross.
We are going to the Superbowl boys!
Shocker
You can't go from the worst offense in the league with Bryce to the highest scoring offense of the week with Dalton and it not be 100% on Bryce.
All the media BS last week about how this was all the Panthers' fault and the coaching and the weapons and the owner...blah blah blah. Bryce Young has zero elite skills or physical traits and doesn't belong in the NFL.
Dalton can let it fly, nothing to lose
It's been one game against the raiders no less. Let's watch a few more games first.
Why is everyone so surprised that Andy Dalton is good? He always has been. His time with the Bengals should have proved that already. Look at his stats and passer rating from then. He was the highest rated QB in the league being on one of the worst teams there was
Since we now know that Bryce is the problem can we try to get Ewers please
Better start working on part 2 lol
If you know anything about the NFL this outcome was easy to predict, none of his teammates wanted to play for Young. ANY QB could of performed better than Young!
Rookies should earn their positions, not be given them.
Canales might be a real one
This game lets you know that we are just a QB away from playing good football. Andy is aging so I don’t expect much from him. Us Carolina fans needed to see if our offense was any good and that was not happening with Bryce.
Glad that you can admit when you are wrong. Rex Ryan and others need to admit the same.
WRONG AGAIN!!!
Dalton has had the raiders number for years. He’s undefeated against them. Don’t be surprised if Carolina sucks again next week
Heres some constructive feedback if your open to it. I felt It was hard to watch with the amount of pausing of the clips you were doing. Maybe just more prep as to what you wanto to show and talk about.
I've been looking at some of the sports shows this morning. Some of the commentators are twisting themselves into pretzels to come up with excuses for their bad takes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The running game has always been sick, we just always had to give up on the he run early. Hubbard was averaging 6 yards per carry before this contest.
Sanders is trash though.
I can't wait for Brooks to get healthy. Let Sanders sit on the bench
I Hoped I was right and in this game I was 🤗 best of all Gingers are virtually unbreakable😉🙏 in body and spirit🏁🏁🏁🇺🇸🙏
Talking heads for the season in shambles after watching dalton play
Drop the part 2
