8:20 T17 will be 8% of T16 drops not 2% i think - it says "0.5% for each socketed voidstone - on each voidstone" so 2% on each voidstone when 4 are slotted
Didn't in the q&a with ziggy and dev said it will give diminishing return?
@kengthao9477 Diminishing returns for sequential drops in a map. i.e. Assuming 4 Void stones and decay factor 0.5:
8% for the first frop, 4% for the second, 2% for the 3rd, ...
Note that we dont know the actual decay factor yet. The overall idea here is to reduce the amount of t17s that can drop in a single map, this mostly affects things like map loot explosions or atlas strats that maximize map drops.
I guess they really don't give a shit about melee huh? I was expecting at least a change to the dog water totems that every melee build has to use but I guess not...

Essence might be nerfed on the tree but there will be essence scarabs now, and that will likely power it up a lot. It wont be a zero investment strat anymore, but that seems fair
In the patch notes, they removed the Jewel modifier "reduced Mana cost of skills between 3-5%", no more Aura bots...

I am 99% sure high end essence farming will be WAY better than it used to be, its mainly early and low tier map essence farming that got nuked. High tier essence farming will most likely benefit MASSIVELY from the scarabs -> the mods like duplicated etc are probably scarab mods now. It will probably suck for SSF tho.
Ralakesh is still fine to use I'd say, given it still gives you this permanent uptime of frenzy charges which gives you movement speed anywhere. Which you wouldn't have otherwise.
I think it's a fair nerf. I mean in the endgame, your movement speed comes a lot more from mageblood with silver flask+quicksilver than the boots.

Can i just say that, the changes to mapping and scarabs makes content better? No more streamers farming 1 map as much, this is a giant benefit for the live viewability. Much love all any recommendations on builds that can run 90% increased effect mod maps? 🤣

I think the crafting system will be both roggers-pog and dogshit at the same time depending on how lucky people get with it. People will probably make it out to be worse actually because the unlucky will complain while the lucky ones won't be heard from besides the occasional bragging.
the ralakesh nerf was nothing, the boots give so much that -30% ms is barely noticeable. You just use your movement abilities more often in exchange for "fuck you damage"
Mageblood is still stupid. I dunno what you mean. Perma onslaught? Really? On one item? With 3 other flask effects?
you lost ~30% less elemental dmg taken and some mageblood specific builds are actually dead without reduced mana cost flask craft, but at least you can run fast

I was really excited seeing the preview but all the nerfs to everything without really any love to underperforming skills is kind of sad.

most of the nerfs are deserved and its really not a big deal. if anything im more concerned about mana cost being removed from jewels thats actual cringe cause now i cant fit blessing without running EB.
