    I've seen some reviewers say it's firmer and others say softer than V3. Not sure if I need a maximalist shoe but I would definitely consider Novablast 4 because of the weight.

      .Our three testers at runningxpert all think it’s softer than the previous version. But feeling can be very different for different people as all feet are different and we all land differently on our feet.
      What’s most important is that we all really like the shoe.

      When I saw the foam was the same as the Nimbus I was like “oh no, there goes the fun and bounce that was hallmark of the Novablast series.” Others (not personally selling the shoe) have stated the same. “Eco” means “there goes the liveliness.”

      @@RunningXpert Novablast4 or Nimbus 26 for walking all day? Some reviewers are saying that the novablast 4 is actually softer/more plush and comfier than the Nimbus 26

    • @RunningXpert
      @RunningXpert  8 місяців тому +2

      @@apothecy4011 It seems that people feel soft in different ways. Our reviewer Jakob who has tried both the Novablast 4 and the Nimbus 26, feels the Nimbus 26 is softer. But the differences aren't big, and the reason why the Novabalst 4 is better at faster runs, is the weight and the midsole geometry. For normal walking, I think the Nimbus 26 would be very comfortable.

    I've just ordered a pair and hopefully arriving in a couple of days.
    I've purchased them to replace a very poor Hoka Clifton 8. I've always had ASICS (cumulus) but wanted to try Hoka for a change. I'm so glad Hoka have a 30 day trial and return. Honestly, they're awful.
    I'm hoping the Novablast 4 are worth the £135 I've paid. ASICS are giving a 90 day trial. I'm training for my 5th half marathon so hoping they aid my training.

      @@raizanong the best pair of running shoes I've had. Absolutely superb.
      I've always had ASICS, usually the Cumulus range, but these are on another level. I've not been a huge fan of road running in the 14 years of doing (on & off). But these Novablast 4 actually enable me to enjoy road running like I've never done previously.
      I highly recommend.
      The only negative is the laces. They are horribly thin and flat material. I prefer the thicker, rounded laces. But, that is a very minor negative.

      @@forshawxwilson2159 I hope you like. But, truth is, we are all different so please don't come back on here raging at me if they're not to your expectations. I returned a pair of Hoka Clifton 8 before having these. The Hoka were awful. But, many people rate them. I thought I'd give them a go for a change from ASICS which I've always had. I will stick to ASICs.
      Anyhoo, in my opinion the Novablast 4 are superb and I truly hope they are a superb, fun shoe to run in for you 🙏
      Let me know your thoughts but not after one run. See how they are after 5-10 runs then get back to me.
      Happy running 👍🏃

    I know many people thought v3 was a bit too long and recommended that you go down half a size, unless you have a wide foot. How it this iteration of the shoe?

    Hey thanks for the review, does it provide enough stability for people who have slight over pronation issue?

    • @RunningXpert
      @RunningXpert  9 місяців тому

      Hey. It is a softer foam, and even though I find it stable enough for my wonky ankles, the new Cumulus might also be an option if you find the Novablast 4 to be too wobbely.
      In general, if you just start slow and build up, there is no reason why you should be able to run in any shoe on the market. That's what science says at least.

    Is the Novablast 4 suitable for standing all day and walking?

      You shouldn't get highly cushioned shoes for just walking and standing.

    run a few times and confirmed i don't like this shoe😅. the feedback from midsole was too hard for me, making my feet and knee not comfortable( nothing happens for running in nimbus 26).
