@ something warm. I use my v13 just for walking, I am not a runner. But in winter in is cold to wear them, so, I would like something warm, that I could walk with in snow around the town, and have them as soft of the v13s.

Hey again Danik. That might be a challenge. There is little out there as soft as a 1080 v13 with the warm Gore Tex upper. My first thought was a Trabuco GTX, because I love to walk in that, but it isn't nearly as soft as a v13. If you could find the Trabuco Max in a GTX version, that would probably be a great option if you want more cushion. A Pegasus trail GTX could probably also be an option, but again, not as soft as the v13. :D I'm sorry I can't help more. Lars

Hey Robin. If the 3km fast is just a daily run, then both Rise or Stride would be nice, but if you are actutally looking for a shoe for 3km races that is made to perform and make you as fast as possible, then I would probably suggest trying out the Takumi sen if you want an adidas. Hey. I would suggest you try to still use your Cumulus, and then add a second shoe that is a little bit different to vary the load. Most injuries come from overuse and not shoes. The Guide is a great alternative as a stability shoe that is also light and supportive. You can also go the other way and get a highly cushioned alternative to pair with a Cumulus. And you also have to remember to strengthen your problem areas with some strength training if you are able to. Body weight is fine, as long as you help your body get better and stronger. I have the Nikes Invencible 3, I ran 5 miles last time and made my knees hurt, backbone.. I’m 6”1 and I weight 190lb, which one do you recommend me for a daily trainer please? I want to buy a new ones now and I don’t wanna be disappointed and waste 180$. Btw I felt the Invincibles 3 Unstable, uncomfortable, I get a looot of pressure on my calves, and got a blister too 😬

​@@Santix777 I would recommend cloudmonsters if you want a shoe that is for both daily training and some faster days, and I would recommend the cloud stratus or the cloudeclipse if you want something that is for more cushioned days. Just remember. Most injuries are not related to shoes, but overtraining or overloading your body. So cahnging shoes might not help and probably isn't the solution. But it is the solution if you have a bad fitting shoe. Fit is always a thing that can sometimes be hard to figure out in regards to shoes. Every foot is different, so I can't say if these shoes will fit you on not. But in general, the cloudmonster is more narrow (race fit), the cloud stratus is medium width and the cloudeclipse is wider. Hope this helps. Lars

How is it now?

The Thundercross is above average at wet running and mud running. It has an upper that can withhold some water, but it will not be as tight as a GTX shoe. So it depends on what type of runner you are and what you like. I would much rather have a good wool sock and the normal version, but others like the GTX version better. Lars

Hey. The Soulstride upper is designed to be durable and comfortable. There are of course some durability that goes away when you value comfort. So if you want the most durable uppers you should look through the agravic shoes, but nothing from terrex beats the Soulstride on comfort. Hope this helps. Lars

@ I tried on two pairs of shoes and found the AGRAVIC 3 to be very comfortable, with a wider forefoot. However, it’s so breathable that I’m concerned it might feel cold when staying still in winter. On the other hand, the SOULSTRIDE’s tongue design is less ideal-it’s too soft and long, and it keeps slipping inward.

Hey. The Superblast is a well regarded shoe, but when we are looking at beginner shoes it falls a little bit out of our definition of the category. Mainly because it is a bit more specialised and less suited for slower paces and daily runs, and more geared towards running fast and long. All subjective opinions from my side. But it is a fun shoe, although a bit more expensive than all the shoes on this list, even the cloudsurfer, which we see as a stretch price-wise in regards to a beginner running shoe. Hey. The Triumph 22 is a slower shoe, closely resembeling the Nimbus and not the Novablast 4. The Novablast will be faster, lighter, more versatile, not as soft. Hope this helps. Lars

Both are great shoes. The consensus at the office is that the Triumph 21 just is a bit more versatile as a daily trainer. But as I said. great shoes both of them. Lars
