For those who are confused: The 2017 AMG GT is 456 HP and 0-60 in about 3.7/3.8 seconds where as the GT S is 503 HP with 0-60 in about 3.5 seconds. This particular model in the video appears to be the base model GT, not the GT S. Either way, they’re both incredible cars!

That is actually pretty on par with what they cost. I bought a CPO 2016 AMG GTS 4 months ago for $80k. Can't go wrong with this car. After owning a 911 S for 6 years, and prior a Cayman S for 5 years... I am completely sold on AMG's engineering. You can't beat the supercar feel of this car.

L S I think he said 503hp because that’s the hp of the S version of the AMG GT
since it’s the GT (not S) shouldnt it be 456HP

I got a certified GTS and i love it but, porsches 911 Turbo is the best car I have ever owned and will always own one till i die
Always always always carefully inspect the gearbox for leaks, and on 2016s see if they have had a gearbox replacement / or qualify for the MB extended transmission (getrag) warranty.
Hey raiti i have a question. I know this car is Faster but how does the power FEEL compare to a scatpack challenger. I know thier both simular in HP.

This is NOT the S model, this engine is 470 HP not 503. I am in the market for one, for this I am sure. 0-60 form Mercedes is quoted as 3.9 seconds.

It’s not a GTS as he sometimes says. It’s the base GT. And also a rather low optioned one. Still a nice car. And the car can be tuned to match the upper variants of the model in power.
However it will still lack the Race Mode settings, no carbon fiber, no Bermester sound system. And other nice features.

Great review Joe ! Major car but no more German cars for me ! Owned too many Audi’s, BMW’s and VW’s and they’re all empty money pits as they age with high mileage! Lease German, buy Japanese. That’s my quote and I say that to everyone! (Although I’ve never leased a car in my life!)

It's obviously an impressive car, but to be honest I've never been a fan of how it looks, mainly because the front end is way too long. I can appreciate a long hood to an extent but the proportions on this car are just too extreme for my taste. From the front fender back though, absolutely gorgeous.

The GT s has 503 hp the GT has 456.It also has less torque than the GT s which has 479 lb/ ft of torque while the Gt has 443. .
That will be my next car... well, not that one. I want a GTS or GTC

These used 2017 AMG GT are pricing at 80k in my area, with that money now you can get a brand new 2020 mid engine C8 Corvette with 20k in options, this is why Corvette will change the game

The viper is manual, driver's cR. The Mercedes is a nice toy, but not a driver's car.
Really a beautiful car. It’s not the best sounding V8 in the world though. I use to watch amg gt accelerations and still wonder to myself... soooo I still don’t know what it sounds like. Maybe it’s too quiet for me I’m not sure

the dumbest decision ever is to buy european brand car in the US. these bmw, mercedes, audi are over engineered, over priced plastic and steel that doesnt last long. every car nowadays will last for about 5yrs but wait to see the service and parts cost on this overpriced plastic after the warranty expires.
very limited number of mechanics in the US can work on this junk. wv is in the same level too. bmw or audi in europe with 150k miles is considered ready for junk. get yourself some reliable japanese brand and see it goes easy 300k miles with basic oil and filter change. avoid european and i am from Europe btw
