I love Alec! I didn't know he wasn't an engineer until I listened to him on Chad and Steve. I'm amazed at the quality of his explanations of technical content. My very old house has overhead lighting because it initially had coal-gas gaslighting. When they retrofitted in electric lights, they put the new lights (with knob and tube wiring) in the same places and abandoned the gas pipes in the ceilings. I have few switched outlets that were wired in later.
Fantastic information about pinball, I also had no idea both of you were at Open Sauce, catch you at the next one! This makes me wonder if there’s a parts kit out there to diy your own pinball machine…
Switched but not split outlets suck and are the only experience I've had in places I've lived. Switched AND split outlets sounds like the best of both worlds and will be exactly what I retro-fit/implement if I get the chance (when not renting anyway).
great conversation!

I wish I was as passionate about anything as Alec is about light bulbs
This was well done, shared it with a buddy that also likes pinball. ARCADES NEVER DIE! lol

From about 42:30 to 44:20, you missed synching the video to the audio. fyi.
Man Steve, you had the opportunity to say that you weren't exactly a pinball...... Wizard....😅
to busy listening to count...
you should interview Zach Freedman (@ZackFreedman). he is a maker in the 3d printer space I adore his videos and would love to see what you think.
