I remember when a PC came round to check my dad was keeping his shotguns safe. Well after 2 teas and a five hour search in the attic the policeman was satisfied that they were safe. 🤗😁
@@FarmerP You are very definitely not unique in keeping things in a safe place. I put my SA Identity book in a safe place in my home. Have been looking for it the past 2 years and still haven't found the hiding place. I now have to get an Affidavit confirming I MISPLACED it and apply for new one 🤦🏼♀️😂😂

So, initially, with the water, you quite literally screwed up. Well, lesson learned. Not sure of the innards, but most flow control devices I’ve seen seem to work that way.
I’m thinking that a cuppa, and putting your feet up, sounds like a nice reward after a weeks work.

If the water main feeding your property burst somewhere down the line, maybe a long way away and some trench water got in while it was being repaired then the filter would trap any bits of grit that could potentially wreck the pressure washer. Cheers! From a retired plumber.

Hi, l was wondering if it's feasible to move the pressure reduction valve. Put it last in line before the supply to Hollies, the loo and the house. . Which would increase the pressure across the rest of the farm🤔
Interesting vblog. My uncle was obsessed with killing crows and ravens / rooks As soon as he heard them, he would be outdoors with his shotgun. His son, who lived next door, was the same 😊 Definitely did not need a scarecrow with him about 😂
In the US white tail deer are like a colt,or Bambi,mostly legs,very tall and can run shortly after they are born for survival in the wild

I was offered one last year Julie, the same as Mr Funky farmer. I declined, we have a perfectly good quad bike as well, but While my legs still work I would rather walk. 🙂👍🏼

🎉 Plenty of Utube makers doing popular patios, roofing, graffiti jet and sometimes steam cleaning videos etc.
They also use biocides and sodium hypochloride( extra strong bleach) would that work on your stone flooring even with a thorough rinse later.
Apparently there is a product I can use against the Cocci bug, but it’s particularly nasty and I was warned off using it by our farm vets.
@@FarmerP I was wondering more about the cost as heat seems slightly a no go and whether the cattle would dislike the smell with you determining the dilution possibly.

I think it’s more the solution requires full PPE because it’s harmful to the operator too.

Alright ian ,i know you had a bug in your cow pen but i could be wrong but washing down your building is fine but the stone floor could be an issue in harbouring bugs ,concrete is extremely expensive but it can be cleaned better than a stone floor ,just saying from an outside observer you know your farm and land no offence ment ian
It's going to take him a while steaming the floor with little pressure. I think he said previously he's going to try to cook it. I know he would rather have concrete if he could, but also the stone floor tends to let things drain where concrete doesn't. So swings and roundabouts.
Yeah suppose stone does drain,concrete is mega expensive these days and for a small farmer concrete is a major cost
@@equitime77 Also cattle slip slide around on wet concrete and can injure themselves putting joints out or worse falling and breaking something.
We never hurried the milking heard, but heard pushing and shoving can.
Ridge tamping or stiff brushing the concrete finish can help with this, but gets worn down with traffic. One of my jobs in construction inspection was to measure the skid resistance of road tunnel wearing surface. We used a swing arm device that had a shoe type sole to measure the friction. After laying and at the end of maintenance contract, luckily for the contractor all was OK and the concrete resin wearing did not need replacing.
Asphalt cannot be used because of the fire hazard.
