You will top charts aslong as everything dies somewhat fast. In which most cases it does. The burst is the funnest thing i think in classic. Its comical.
Have a quick question and anyone can chime in! With the no debuff limit will some classes become viable? Like warlocks or maybe spriest? Any input is great! Thanks :)
It seems that some players are simply clueless so i am going to explain this properly: The warlock will be most likely the best PvE DPS class simply because it will be able to spam DOTs with better hit chance since there are talents for +hit at the affliction talent tree while also using flask +life tap ( bandage ) if needed for more mana. The warlock will also not rely heavily on world buffs nor weapons unlike warriors/rogues to deal damage. The warlock will actually get stronger because of more debuff slots and better +hit chance on spells while the physical dps classes and especially rogues+warriors will become weaker after losing up to 30% damage from world buffs and having to deal with extra boss mechanics.
Funny to call people clueless when you come up with such garbage :D Even at 0% extra hit it has been theorycrafted and tested millions of times that Shadowbolt is simply more dps than spending a GCD on DoT. The only reason why DoTs are gonna be good is that you buy yourself some GCDs before you start spaming Shadowbolts forever, which makes threat a lesser issue. If Locks try to put and keep up DoTs after that, they will definetly lose dps. Also it is a fact that Warriors and Rogues remain top tier even without world buffs, the gap will just be a little smaller. Although potentially longer fights will hurt mana users more than melee for very obvious reasons. Next time you call people clueless, try to not just pull anything out of your ass but look at some facts beforehand. There are logs and spreadsheets out there, use them. Thanks
(Alliance Only) all this information is great, but can someone just tell me what's going to be the most in demand class for raiding? meaning maybe a class that nobody plays or a class that is always wanted because it's hard to find sometimes.
Unfortunately the biggest counter to Druid is rank1 frost bolt spam. Can’t get on top of the mage then, the moment you get out of cat or bear to starfire, mage preps sheep, back into form, rinse repeat.

my experience leveling ret usually came down to speccing into holy just enough to get imp bow, then respeccing full ret when I learn sow. keeping bow and sow active allows you to take on enemies with your auto attack while keeping your mana mostly full, topping off with FOL (which I usually carry an stat stick with healing buffs for), and not needing to stop and drink much.
@@aotearoaaudio a lot of mobs will not be able to be snared in dungeons and if you are much higher level than the people in the group you get significantly less xp.
For Hunters, the roughs are the easiest class to beat. You have both flare and hunter mark to fight invisibility, ton of traps, disange and stun both in mele and range and on pet.
there's not much interest for me to play again. If there was some major changes I would but other than doing some of the starter zones when the server launches that will be the only bit I play. I dunno about anyone else but there's something really fun about leveling in the starter zones when there's players everywhere. I find that super enjoyable. But other than that I do think season of mastery is cool but there's not enough that is holding my interest. I would love to level a druid to play resto druid in raids. I'm afraid people don't want druids. Anyone having experience at lvl 60 raiding in classic? I played back in the day but was a holy pala and cant remember if i ever saw a resto druid. Thanks guys!
You were kind of stuck to healing touch until until 8/8 t2 and t3 bonuses. But they got waaay better when they reworked HOTS not pushing off world buffs
You can avoid resto until 60 and be a competent healer with just int/spirit gear healing dungeons whenever you aren’t open world grinding. Doing dungeons is never a problem so long as you just add 2 macros for downranked HT for mana management. You have the single highest heal in the game on horde while leveling. Desperate prayer is the alliance’s stronger heal but for horde HT is the highest. It’s a long cast time to get used to because the rarely increases so you are usually looking at around a 3s cast even if you downrank. Once the tiers get flowing you’ll be able to swap out of HT spam into Regrowth if you choose. Otherwise if you become the dedicated tank healer, you actually go all points resto for rejuv talents which your job becomes maintaining on tank and then innervate whoever is the main priest healer or shaman if you RL or officer is whichever.

@@henrikh3089 fuck... damn. Thanks for the info. Less likely to have the time and patience to start over again. I was hoping to have it so I could start raiding in phase1. And have they been released on when is that planned?
Currently on the beta the bumped exp quest completion bonus from +25% to +40%. It’s a net gain for everyone. You will be faster than original classic launch but slower than tbc prepatch / tbc. With the influx of people playing so long as you pick a hybrid or healer you’ll find groups for dungeons and be able to avoid a lot of open world farming
Also the assumed release is late nov but unknown if it’s accurate or not for now. My assumption is that if they want to make any big raid changes (other than numerical) we won’t see a November release since we can’t go to 60 on the beta yet, 45 just got unlocked.
In hindsight, warriors have the worst solo gold farming experience. They rely so heavily on support that you get outcompeted in the world and aside from tanking services there aren't many niche gold practices.
I like not changing the classes. Keep much of that spirit intact. I'm not complaining about Warriors, Rogues etc...They are simply more badass and deserve high position.
Overall good video imo, but just got a couple of coments. woud add a reckoning paladin to the short list of 1v1's being hard to win for rogues. played it in classic, and i dont think i ever died to a rogue 1v1, but they are easily killed. my second thing, is to your point about the prediction that warriors will be better dps due to execute face being longer. i have heard this alot, and every time i think to my self... well. anyway this doesn't make any sense since, yes the execute face is longer, but the rest of the fight will also be longer since it's procentage based. and with dps counting thru the whole of the fight, the execute face will just put the dps higher up than before while the rest of the fight equally will get the dps down. there will be no change to that from classic to new classic.
You will play a warrior , rogue or a healer. SoM is meta heavy with all the boss changes so there will be abolutely, remotely no reason to take any other class.
Not everyone plays for raids. I usually quit before even doing molten core. There is a lot of game before you get to endgame and tons of dungeons out there
Since Blizzard is too fucking lazy to adjust talents or items there will be absolutely no reason to go for hybrid classes. Warrior, Rogue, Priest, Mage and Warlock will be the only classes to go if you wan't to be even slightly competitive.
I'm playing with a group so I'll be leveling as prot warrior mostly, having a holy paladin with me. But as soon as I'm 60 instantly going fury as it's the one I wanna do
Since the melee lost their world buffs and the casters will have flasks on top of having the debuffs increased on bosses then we already know the winner for raids ( warlocks might be the best due to the prolonged fights and life tap ).
played both warlock and warrior on beta this week. warriors and rogues always toping the meters. locks starting decently if they get some lucky crits but in case they need to tap they are losing gcds so they are going to the bottom spots fast.
@@kalogria13 You are clueless. The warlock does not need to get lucky with crits because it will keep DOTs up and those are also affliction based so the warlock will no longer suffer from +hit penalty since there are talents with +hit for affliction spells. If you were spaming shadowbolt when the debuff limit on bosses was increased significantly then i have nothing else to say.

Melee classes will be fighting tooth and nail for weapons and trinkets.
Mages and Warlocks will be fighting over quite a few pieces as well. There's usually a lot of Mages, and in my experience they tend to get loot prio over Warlocks
Druids compete with cloths for gear for raiding. And hunters compete with rogues and some warrior pieces
As a ele shaman guy id debate ele is busted af at leveling, dungeons, and pvp. Just make sure you have a mage buddy to give you non stop water. Water legit becomes your rotation. You will top charts aslong as everything dies somewhat fast. In which most cases it does. The burst is the funnest thing i think in classic. Its comical.
Perfect timing for this vid
Have a quick question and anyone can chime in! With the no debuff limit will some classes become viable? Like warlocks or maybe spriest? Any input is great! Thanks :)
Yes even shamans and warrior can do their thing
Not really, mana is far more of a limit on meme specs than debuffs.
wait on official classic servers there is no debuff cap? i thought there is one and they removed it in hardcore classic
I ended up picking black mage. Great class design and top tier dps.
I always wonder what class to play and pick pally everytime because that is my favorite class. I am thinking druid and pally for my toons
You’re greatly over-valuing the damage lock dots do.
The paladin dress problem might not be as bad because they have the set 2 tier sets.
Mage is over rated. I died a lot learning to AoE kite. Drinking water gets old, being OOM gets old. Solo mage is rough imo.
Tripple specs in the open world , palas/shammys for both factions and no raid lockout times

Unfortunately the biggest counter to Druid is rank1 frost bolt spam. Can’t get on top of the mage then, the moment you get out of cat or bear to starfire, mage preps sheep, back into form, rinse repeat.
@@huntedbymoonlight2513 You never use starfire in pvp, and wrath is faster than poly. And if a mage ever does sheep you it's a free heal because you can break it whenever you want.

my experience leveling ret usually came down to speccing into holy just enough to get imp bow, then respeccing full ret when I learn sow. keeping bow and sow active allows you to take on enemies with your auto attack while keeping your mana mostly full, topping off with FOL (which I usually carry an stat stick with healing buffs for), and not needing to stop and drink much.

May need to update this for mage given the huge nerfs that are planned for them.. :)
what nerfs...?
@@aotearoaaudio a lot of mobs will not be able to be snared in dungeons and if you are much higher level than the people in the group you get significantly less xp.
Will the next ‘season’ be a new patch or a fresh server or both?

I've leveled several characters to lvl 20 cos I can't decide a main
Im torn between lock and rogue
Are you playing oblivion music in the background of a wow video because it's great music or is it just to mess with us?
For Hunters, the roughs are the easiest class to beat. You have both flare and hunter mark to fight invisibility, ton of traps, disange and stun both in mele and range and on pet.
there's not much interest for me to play again. If there was some major changes I would but other than doing some of the starter zones when the server launches that will be the only bit I play. I dunno about anyone else but there's something really fun about leveling in the starter zones when there's players everywhere. I find that super enjoyable. But other than that I do think season of mastery is cool but there's not enough that is holding my interest. If they ever did a season where there's new gear and maybe new tier sets for different talent trees, taht would interest me.
I would love to level a druid to play resto druid in raids. I'm afraid people don't want druids. Anyone having experience at lvl 60 raiding in classic? I played back in the day but was a holy pala and cant remember if i ever saw a resto druid. Thanks guys!
Will arms warrior be viable for raiding since we won’t have to worry about debuff slots for mortal strike?
I mean fury will still be much stronger due to rage gen
Arms is just bad for raiding. If 2h is the only way for you (which is still a lot weaker than dw fury) 2h fury is still better than arms by miles
Hey that’s the fable music!
Aaah~ that fable song
So what is the install just "classic" because the tbc is different right?
It’s a classic hybrid
Installs as classic era
Today I learned that vampiric touch is in classic
How was resto druid in classic? I imagine it would be frustrating getting heal sniped, but idk
Resto druids ARE the heal snipers d:
You were kind of stuck to healing touch until until 8/8 t2 and t3 bonuses. But they got waaay better when they reworked HOTS not pushing off world buffs
once you can pump 1.3s regrowths its awesome
Otherwise if you become the dedicated tank healer, you actually go all points resto for rejuv talents which your job becomes maintaining on tank and then innervate whoever is the main priest healer or shaman if you RL or officer is whichever.
when are they released?
Thanks again 😗
not following much on classic but they remove world buffs no? then warrior might be going from god tier to mid tier. i mean world buffs gives way too much to warriors
Warriors were best DPS without wbuffs and they will still be, with longer fights you get longer execute phase and other dps going oom. They will still be the kings
Anyone knows if it's possible to transfer a lvl 60 classic toon to a new classic fresh server? Last time played it before tbc launch and I haven't chosen its expansion world yet.
Not possible, its supposed to be a hard reset.
@@henrikh3089 fuck... damn. Thanks for the info. Less likely to have the time and patience to start over again. I was hoping to have it so I could start raiding in phase1. And have they been released on when is that planned?
@@g0blin11 Not sure when they plan to release it.

Get a healer friend and live in dme I guess
Thanks!
so, what's changed?
I like not changing the classes. Keep much of that spirit intact. I'm not complaining about Warriors, Rogues etc...They are simply more badass and deserve high position.
Paladín IS top tier in PvP ?
Healer that is impossible to kill
There is a lot of game before you get to endgame and tons of dungeons out there
I won’t touch this game unless they make adjustments to class balance and gear.
Ye mage min max will be worse for harder bosses and raids won't take memes unless they're true chads

SoM Hype !! SoM Hype !!
Since Blizzard is too fucking lazy to adjust talents or items there will be absolutely no reason to go for hybrid classes. Warrior, Rogue, Priest, Mage and Warlock will be the only classes to go if you wan't to be even slightly competitive.
I thought this video title was a joke
Ost from fable i think
I'm playing with a group so I'll be leveling as prot warrior mostly, having a holy paladin with me. But as soon as I'm 60 instantly going fury as it's the one I wanna do
Levelling with prot is brutal. You can tank fine with fury or arms. Prot will make you unable to kill a mob without spending 2 minutes each mob
Thanks for the update, anything else?
Oakvale - Fable ost
Talking about Classic WoW to Fable music lol
Since the melee lost their world buffs and the casters will have flasks on top of having the debuffs increased on bosses then we already know the winner for raids ( warlocks might be the best due to the prolonged fights and life tap ).
Ye but long fights also make warriors strong. I think they will still be the top dogs
@@DontHearNoEvil Have fun with the glancing hits.
@@De_Nome have fun wanding when healers can't heal you up due to mana problems cuz of longer fights
played both warlock and warrior on beta this week. warriors and rogues always toping the meters. locks starting decently if they get some lucky crits but in case they need to tap they are losing gcds so they are going to the bottom spots fast.
@@kalogria13 You are clueless. The warlock does not need to get lucky with crits because it will keep DOTs up and those are also affliction based so the warlock will no longer suffer from +hit penalty since there are talents with +hit for affliction spells. The warlock will also get so much stronger past MC where the mobs are immune to fire ( immolation ). If you were spaming shadowbolt when the debuff limit on bosses was increased significantly then i have nothing else to say.
The 763 people who are playing g wow fresh appreciate the video. Even though they have 5, 60s 2 ,70s. And a dozen half played characters. Who is this fresh mastery shit for?
I am not playing at the moment but i appreciate this video. The number of people that playing in a post - phase 6 realm is irrelevant as the game ends after naxx is done. The exact number of players that will be interested for season of mastery will be defined on launch day. Pretty safe to assume that few hundred thousands of players will participate in SoM. Enough to turn 5-10 servers per region to full pop. Quote me if im wrong after launch.

Putting tbc talents and tbc leveling (+world changes) would make a classic experience incredibly unique

@@vaynepref I think you misunderstand. Prepatch was 11 days. No one got to experience what it was like. Prepatch improved on classes across the board. No one loses out because of prepatch. There’s nothing wrong with suggesting a direct improvement to the game experience. Those that want pserver style are back to pservers again. Because they don’t play tbc pservers. They play classic.
