That's why I love him. He's completely different than others. He doesn't care about having friends. He's not growing his emotions to traveler. He's just different - that's why he's the best ❤️
One of the best things about him is that they kept him completely the way he is without adding or changing some bits of his personality after being "friends" with the Traveler. I know the game purposefully makes a lot of the characters act all simpy towards the traveler, like a way to influence the player to like and then later pull for them, but not Alhaitham lmao. He's just the way he is regardless of the people he encounters. Be it ordinary people or ones like the Traveler.
I actually really like Alhaitham's dialogue here. He's just a guy trying to live his life without too much chaos. There's a sense of respect towards the traveler but it also doesn't seem like his opinion is any different from how he talks to the traveler in any Quest. Which is good. I also like the idea of traveler asking for tips on how to deal with annoying people, because yeah it would make sense that the traveler is a bit tired of that from time to time. Nice conversations that don't seem like they're changing the character in questions opinions or view on the traveler or anyting.
Interesting, first of all, he's not that enamored with us. Kind of gives me the same vibes diluc gave to us in the beginning. "Shut your mouth and stay out of my way" XD. But is it just me or when he's talking about he doesn't like small talk, his tone changes? It's more... Forceful? Idk how to describe it, but it sounds like when someone approaches you, and you know they want something you don't wanna do, so at the very beginning of the convo you drop forced hints to them so that they just don't bother asking that of you. For eg someone you don't like approach syou on valentines day, and the first thing you say is how much you dislike chocolate 😂
I designed his room for days and when he is there, "idc about aesthetic" I just went I spent hours and days for this so appreciate it sir 😂 he is just so chill, I love him for that... he will always be my dendro daddy ❤
