I enjoyed the variety of projects that you showed. Don’t apologize for everything. You be you. If you need to zip bags, do it. We understand. You did a great job. Keep up the good work.
Elizabeth, I enjoyed your video. It’s understandable to be nervous for your first video, you feel much better after that 😊. I am from Texas as well, I was born in San Antonio after my grandparents passed on I moved to Houston until I graduated from Barbara Jordan in 1986. Since then I lived in several states currently live in Philadelphia; soon I will be moving to Michigan. It’s good to see you stitch a lot of things I stitch. I also crochet and diamond paint soon I will be into sewing quilts. Looking forward to seeing more videos you do. Happy stitching 😊
Another Native Texan woohoo!! I'm in East Texas not far from you! I am so glad I found you! I cross stitch, sew(a little) and crochet - among other things. This is a great first video, and I'm off to watch your next one!! Please post the link to your business, if you have one so I can share it on my blog. I prefer stitch in hand as well. I'd love to see your first project it sounds cute!
Hi....I enjoyed your video and I did not find you sooo nervous. The only thing I would appreciate as a viewer is to see the picture of wha you are stitching so we can see it.. Would appreciate it if you would also state the count on each project you show. Lastly, I would love to know where you got Babara Ana´s freebie....think it's so cute! You see this trick or treat on the wine color, you do not show the picture or not sure of the count.....we as viewers love to learn and see as much as we can....that´s why we listen!!!! I thank you and really think you did a great job for being the first floss tube. Good Luck!!!!!!
I love WIP parades. I think I have watch this one twice. We have similar tastes. And you are the second person to suggest Marjorie Made so I think I will go watch her. I did not subscribe the first watch thru. But I did this time. Good job!
You are a natural!!! I love the little Barbara Ana boars. Any chance you'd consider showing how you use a Cricket to make floss tabs? I have been thinking about buying one. :) I use a Brightech magnifying light for stitching high counts, and pretty much do 40 and 46 now, where I can use a single thread. It has a clamp to attach to the table and is about $25 on Amazon; 36 ct will be a breeze! You are inspiring me to learn to make project bags.
Great first video. You’re such a natural, I feel like you’re just chatting with friends. Lovely projects, as well as your bags you’ve made ! Look forward to your next one. So glad you decided to do this !
I literally JUST picked up and flipped through the Creepy Cross Stitch book MINUTES before watching your video! I love that book! And LOVE all your WIPs! So much inspiration. :)
Great first video! I really enjoyed seeing all of your projects!! One thing - in my opinion, your content would be more engaging if you had a picture of every pattern that you could show. For PDFs, a lot of people bring up an image on their tablets, so you could go that route. But I wouldn’t assume that all your viewers are familiar with the patterns you’re stitching, even popular ones. Looking forward to your next episode!
Elizabeth, thank you for the sweet visit…your stitching is beautiful and love the variety of charts and ground cloth you have used…your dyed fabric is awesome…wishing you the best and happy stitching ❤
Loveli video Elizabeth. Well done. I loved watching your wip parade. You should continue with a bit more confidence, because you were great. There is room on flosstube for everyone who stitches and wants to share and we welcome you with open arms. Thank you xx
These small Heartstring samplers have been on my wish list as well. I love the piano melody and I always look forward to the puppy video. When I watch your tube I feel I’m chatting with an old friend!
And this is all I am digging in to your rich parade. I found it very funny that the first project you showed is some thing I had never heard of before today, but, I just saw it earlier today in another WIP parade by Leann.stitches
Loved your video and your projects! Wonderful job. :) Finish the dinosaur project!!! If I had that stitched when my son was 2 yrs and older he would never have stopped loving it, talking about it, etc...

Great first video. I love your stitching. Especially your dinosaur abc. Where did you get the pattern from. I have never seen it before. It’s great to see some young people dtitching , see you next video

Welcome to flosstube!! I just started my channel too, and I also use the Atom Heart Cross Stitch floss drops. I just started using them after christmas and I got the bobbin shape, love them!

You did a great job! I had stopped stitching for years, but came back last summer and discovered the rabbit hole of flosstube! 😁 So glad to join you on your new adventure! No need to apologize for your hanging threads, zipper noises, or paper crinkles we all know what those are and don't mind! I too follow Alba Stitcher, but most of the others are new so I will check them out! I mainly follow Nichol Spohr, Stitchin With the Housewives, and CZook Stitch right now. Carolyn at CZook also has dozens of WIPs, her channel might give you some organizing ideas! See you next time!
Oh wow thank you! And thank you so much for the recommendation! I will have to look Nichol and Carolyn up! I have also watched Stitching with the Housewives but it’s been a while since I’ve watched their channel! But I do really love their patterns!
Welcome to Flosstube! I’m also a shy flosstuber and it definitely takes a lot to put out the videos! You did great in this video! I hope you continue to post and share what you’ve been working on! ❤
I absolutely loved your video. I couldn’t even tell you were nervous! I loved all your projects and your project bags. Some day I’m going to try to make one!! I would love a link to the video you used to hand dye the fabric for the “Year in the Woods” fabric. Thanks for keeping me company while I am getting over a terrible stomach bug. I’m too sick to stitch and watching your WIP parade kept my mind off how miserable I feel.

It’s from one of her December videos from 2021 I think (if I remember correctly) I will try to find it though! And thank you so much for watching my video and enjoying it! I hope you feel better soon!
Hi again! I learned that I can link UA-cam videos in comments lol I’m super new to all of this UA-cam stuff and I never comment on anyone’s videos really myself so I have no idea what I’m doing. Haha. But here is the link for the video from Momma Loves You GB where she shows her fabric. In the description box she says how she dyed the fabrics ua-cam.com/video/-zMPpyVvVeU/v-deo.html
@@Lizzie2130 thank you so much for tracking that video down for me. The fabric you dyed was GORGEOUS! I have a few of the Year in the Woods animal but hesitated starting them until I found the right fabric. Maybe I can dye my own! I really appreciate it 💜

That was great, one thing I would mention though is that there’s a lot of background noise like a machine which distracts away from your message. I’ll watch your next one though x
Great job. I'm not a cross stitcher, more of a quilter, but love watching stitcher videos. Especially liked your WIP they are different and look very nice.

Really great job!! I’m impressed with your first try. I can only imagine how nerve wracking it would be to make a video that the world could see. Keep going, you’re fun to watch and I look forward to more
Loved seeing all this! I wish you linked or even wrote out some of the things you mention, as you speak kinda fast. I had to re-play many times to catch some of the designer names, etc.

There are or were two that I have been to in the past one is fairly easy to find called 3 stitches and the other is harder to find and due to Covid I’m not entirely sure if they are still in business but it’s called ABC stitch.

There are or were two that I have been to in the past one is fairly easy to find called 3 stitches and the other is harder to find and due to Covid I’m not entirely sure if they are still in business but it’s called ABC stitch.
I live on the outskirts of Houston. May I ask what you consider your local needlework shop? Your stitches are beautiful. Thank you for sharing
Thank you! When I actually go in person I go to 3 stitches. It’s off of louetta in the spring area.
I'm in Houston too. Where in Houston, I'm west Houston.
I’m on the north side!
Who is the designer of the 2020 pandemic sampler? Its beautiful!
What program do you use on your ipad please?
I just use the files app on the iPad! I will show in my next Flosstube! I am going to film it today and have it uploaded in the next day or two!
