I don't know that they would do that these days, but the used to close out the stage at Great Blue Heron and move over to the dance tent and play as the Zydeco experiment. They probably started playing at 10-10:30 closed out at 12:00-12:30 half hour break until the dance tent, which I would leave at 2,3 oclock and they were playing until about daybreak, (with a revolving cast of course.) Loved my 20+ years hanging with them.

Believe it! I was there. They went on at 8:35, and Jeb left the stage at 4:10am. (The rest of the band left 1-2 hours before). It was 7.5 hours, and most of the show is available on the Internet Archive. 8/18/2011 State Bridge.

Saw them at Pappy and Harriet's in Pioneertown CA about 12 or 13 years ago. It was standin room only. We were literally dancing on the tables. Those were the days.

Yeah Right! The dance circle closes a lot earlier than it used to, but it is still a blast. The dance tent connections are on the verge of the surreal, but what fun!
