I lost my darling Col on August 6th 2020 to Pancreatic, Liver and Lung Cancer..4 months today. He was only 58.. Col loved this track and played it often.. He said he always wanted to be The Spaceman ever since he saw Kiss for the first time. I think it is appropriate to play this track today and to Thank Ace for giving Col the inspiration to play guitar all those years ago.. For my Col.. From your Ellie.. Always.. xxxx
hard to believe but i'm 98% positive they never let him play it live ! Not even once. How messed up is that. he's done it live without them but never with, damn shame!
My favorite thing any member of KISS ever did to this day…and I grew up listening to them in the 70s! Yeah their show was an epic spectacle unlike anything else at that time and yeah…it was fun pump your fist in the air Rock’n Roll! But the layers of this song, the perfect arrangement starting with that bell and acoustic guitar then building to an electric frenzy-all while that addictively beautiful melody continues underneath… Only to return to the quiet contemplative beginning! Ace & his engineer blew it out of the stratosphere! …and it’s still a grabber that must be repeated today.
Buried my sister today!!😢😢
This was one her favorite ACE songs!
Great job on the video, she would've loved it!!

My favorite thing anyone from Kiss ever did whether on a Kiss album or solo! GORGEOUS song that's just as good today as when it came out!
