I've been testing out both the Besavior and DS Edge, and they are both very good controllers. Though I personally like to use the Besavior more often given the 4 backpaddles, especially when playing skate 3 on the PC. One of the reason why I like having four backpaddles is because it feels familiar to the Elite Series 2, which is easily one of my favorite controllers.
for those of you who have an aim battle beaver or scuf controller and you want home made trigger stops. use the rubberband method. I placed a rubber band around the triggers of the mentioned controllers and placed a small piece of tape on each side the controller. it feels great. When I play Apex and use my battle beaver and the rubberband method. When I need to single fire my gun I don't change the gun to semi auto anymore. I just tap the trigger and STILL hit my shots and I can instantly auto fire if I need to.
I like the fact with the Edge you can still play your first party titles with the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers and then change the triggers for your competitive shooters without sacrificing the clicky triggers not being able to change them back also the fact you can swap the stick modules in case you ever get stick drift instead of paying for a whole new controller is an amazing touch also I’m used to two paddles at the back and not two so this is also great for me plus I can still apply kontrolfreek sticks on top of the standard stick option on this if I wanted
The Besavior already has a stick drift fix, you just plug in another's control in the back. I personally use the Razer wolverine ultimate, the wolverine v2 Chroma, and xbox 360 madcatz arcade sticks through the besavior. Having options is nice.
If there were a metal option for the DualSense edge bottom and button shell area, this would send it to the cosmos. Either iPhone grade aluminium or titanium. then put that in different colours..wow.
Iv been debating to get scuff or thr edge then I saw the besavior and I was also thinking of getting the zen and it sounds like the besavior is gonna be the best option for me right now. I can get a scuf later down the line.
I just got the Victrix Pro BFG as well and I LOVE the ergonomics, offset thumbstick, and back button layout so much! BUT... There are a couple things that annoy me about it. 1 being that it can't turn on the Ps5 on from the controller and 2 being that unless you have a headset plugged into the controller, it doesn't mute the mic at the system level. The mute thing sucks for me because I use a mic on a boom arm into the console and just a pair of earphones plugged into the mic itself so I have no way to mute with the Victrix :( So heartbreaking because it ticks all the other boxes for me!

Great video though. After using an Xbox Elite for many years, using the standard PS5 controler feels like playing with only one hand. 😂
Dualsense Edge is the best controller built for the PS5. It's incredible. I'm not big on just back paddles. The DSEdge is better for Sony's exclusives as well.
Which is true to some extent. The backpaddles on both feel comfortable in my opinion given they curve to where our fingers feel natural to rest. Comparing the two to some other backpaddle mods, some just don't feel quite natural to use given you have to adjust your grip to use them.
I wish the besavior diy kit didn't need soldering like the extreme rate doesn't if you don't care about mapping the stick buttons and the touchpad. I really don't need a new controller but the functionality of the besavior is unreal.
If i mod my ps5 controller with the Besavior kit (just the 4 back buttons, without clicky triggers and without trigger mapping), will the adaptive triggers (and the haptic feedback) still working ?
@@Chiwawaleg the back buttons feel real cheap, and I just don’t like the placement either. In my opinion the ps5 scuff controller is better. I bought two when they released and I haven’t had any issues
THEY HAVE A STICK DRIFT KIT!!!!!! the pcb boards that gets 2sided taped to the battery now has a stick drift kit implemented. This is a physical adjustment similar to HELDER Drift kit or DRIFIX by extremerate, NOT DIGITAL YET, but its there.
I ordered the besavior controller a few days ago the customer service through their website is not very good there's definitely a language barrier that you have to deal with

Ah. In that sense. They are saying their last run of handles had issues. So they are waiting for the next batch of handles before they can make your controller And they are sorry for the delay
They sent me a defective unit. After five days of them giving me the run around they've yet to replace the besavior or offer me a refund. Buyer beware.
Sony needs to make a taller stick available for the fps guys. I love my dual sense edge, but I’m not a pro player by any means but I do wish the dse would have included 4 back buttons. I don’t play competitive fps games so I don’t use the tall sticks. I mainly play borderlands games and destiny 2, but now I’m interested in trying out the tall sticks on my dse and victrix and comparing the two.
