Like all Simon had to do was talk to Daphne and all Anthony and Kate had to do was admit their feelings for each other, so the drama feels like it dragged to me. In this one, Colin’s initial reaction is completely justified but you could also really see the struggle. It felt so real when he saw Penelope in her wedding dress and it took his breath away, and their first dance, beautiful, but then when the Queen brings up Whistledown, as hard as his reaction was to see, it also felt honest. And the development of the Featherington’s and Penelope and Portia’s relationship felt so natural and beautiful to see. Penelope went from feeling invisible in her own home to having her mom support her through the Whistledown announcement. And then Eloise and Penelope coming back together the way they did was perfect. And the best part to me was Colin’s declaration of love and his acceptance of every part of Penelope. They finally took each other of their respective pedestals and see each other for who they really are, flaws and all. It wasn’t as dramatic as past seasons, but I think in a lot of ways it was more beautiful.

30:11 I think Lord Debling didn't go for Cressida because he discerned that she was an unpleasant human being. He's a good judge of character and I don't believe he wouldn't have spotted that she had a cruel and untrustworthy streak, especially when egged on by her mother.
Ya, I agree with you, but if he married Cressida then she would have been financially stable which means that she would not need to blackmail Penelope, and her identity as LW would have been kept a secret.
hard disagree, he likely just could tell she was putting up a mask/performance as pen was before she was honest with him which he said is what he wanted, someone “who knows who they are”. this season showed us why she’s how she is and she could have been better in her friendship with eloise but being forced into that marriage made her take impulsive desperate choices others in her shoes would have

@@eme.261 what would you do to get out of such a marriage after knowing you can get so much money from the queen and escape? also, that was part of the performance, and I don’t see how ‘hunter than prey’ makes her an ‘unpleasant human being’ when it’s a hint that her mothers ‘dog eat dog’ world teachings are instilled in her. if anything it was a giveaway that she’d rather fight than be put into situations like the marriage she was initially sold into, her being a woman with no privelage like the bridgertons adds layers to this! they even showed her having remorse for what her mother wrote and reminiscing her friendship with eloise
@@huefiles -- I wouldn't have done what Cressida did. I'm also not Lord Debling, whose preferences are of importance here. Debling's were so pronounced that he choose not to eat animals during an era when that was seriously frowned upon. He would have been and was turned off by Cressida and I don't think she ever stood a chance with him after that comment, which would explain why he never returned to court her after not proposing to Penelope. Cressida may have expressed remorse about what her mother wrote about the Bridgertons, but every single time after that, when she was presented with options, she chose the most loathsome one. Her being damaged by her upbringing doesn't excuse her choices.
BTW It was the Harley Quinn series where someone unmasked Batman in front of Joker and he got so pissed he killed them because they ruined the mystery. "Don't you think I would have done that had I wanted to!" 😂
Regarding Francesca's relationships there is no overlap. So if they decide to put a cheating storyline in... I'll be upset! Because I don't like cheating storylines... But yeah I won't say any specific details but I will say that, in the book, Francesca DOESN'T have any romantic or sexual feelings towards Michael until John passes away.
I really enjoyed this season, while it wasnt perfect, it is definitely my favorite season and i loved all of the happy endings. I honestly got really emotional at the end cuz even tho i know its not the series finale, it feels like the end of an era because SO MANY THINGS have changed this season. it wasnt just a season about a love story, but so many characters have grown and matured and found themselves, LW is no longer a secret, at least 3 future storylines have been set up, its like now I dont know what to expect anymore. Its gonna be different but im excited🤭
Francesca's book is called "when he was wicked" which is going to be very weird with a female love interest as a big part of their friendship was Francesca asking him to share details of wicked things he did (always the rake men) and im curious how they'll alter that for a female lead. Francesca also only wants to remarry because she desperately wants children, so i wonder if they'll have her have a baby with John before he dies
Love your point of view !!!!! Love this season!!! Collin and Penelope surprised me and did an awesome job this season. I absolutely love them. They have super great chemistry.! Minis the 3-some not a fan .... I love Benedict but I absolutely am tired of him just sleeping around with people. I'm ready for him to have a relationship so hopefully season 4 will be beautiful for Benedict.
Nahhhh I need to see ur whole dress it looks soooooo good Yessss that joker scene was sooooooo funny tho the dialogue was peak. Your reaction to the queen being present at Polin wedding sent me😂
You are such a Mood, Monica. And Thank you for speaking the truth about Benedict’s Scene. Still not understand why them did him dirty in this season when there is a potential of him being the lead of the next season. I Love Your reaction so much ❤
20:06 benedict is one of my favorite characters of the show and i agree with u and i would love to see more of him, but i think his character is already very developed and substantial, hes not the type of guy that would want to marry, at least not yet, and just wants to have a good time and focus on his art, discover himself and his sexuality too…would love to see more of benedict in the next season
The Francesca face bothered me, because the message was supposed to be romantic love comes in many forms. Passion and attraction too. You don't need to be toxic and all over the place. So the whole "i forgot my name" so she forgets her name. It was disrespectful to the entire love story they created. John and Francesca were perfect, people were talking about love on the spectrum, they have soulmate vibes, they match each other very well. So why the fuck they can't have a healthy sexual life just because they aren't fighting and kissing in the rain, and desperate and angry. I honestly loved their story and it left a bad taste.
9:47 THISS!!!! Also, i already get migraines which are made SO much worse by alcohol so i cannot imagine trying to endure that during my wedding 😭😂 and youre skin also gets dehydrated asf from being hungover too 🫠😬
I loved this season. Bridgerton house color is blue and Penelope’s color is yellow. She hates that color but it’s actually one of Colin’s favorites. I’m pretty sure their wedding cake had both color to show the bond of those to houses/ppl. So the song Yellow playing was perfect. Especially since things were tense between them. But the melody for “ you know I love you so” when they look at each other just shows that no matter what there is this adoration between them. My only real complaint is I would’ve preferred significantly less Benedict sex scene and more polin intimate scenes. Especially after the angst was over. I am so excited for the John/francesca/michaela storyline. I think her and John genuinely love bleach other and with find comfort and intimacy with one another but she will experience passion with Michaela. I definitely see an emotional affair happening.
@@m.carmenlopezjimenez2649 they cut out lot of scenes from ep 7 nd 8 acc to the earlier screening audience and a voice artiest who did pen😭.. there is even a petition going on to restore them !
I worry that they might change Francesca's story too much, because I like how John is her soulmate and her first great love. The way they wrote the ending kind of feels off for how they wrote their relationship through the whole season. The whole time Fran showed she felt comfortable and then grew to have so much love for John. I could understand maybe they don't have a passionate love, but I don't know, I'm going to hold off on any major judgements till I see how they proceed with the story.
I was sad for him, she loves him so much in the books. I would have liked it if Michaela was the one who fell in love at first sight without knowing that she is her cousin's wife
Stoooppp you are my fav reactor. So beautiful and always putting a smile on my face and watching you watch birdgerton and seeing you so happy looking at your man! You are Penelope to me, so gorgeous and badass!😭❤❤
19:51 I understand your complaint, but I do think that him discovering his bisexuality IS the beginning of the larger story for him. Which makes sense, since next season is his.
i am glad they confirmed that benedict is bisexual like everyone's been wanting the whole time, but i would have preferred it if they didn't do it through the repetitive lens of sexcapades he's been having these three seasons. he could have had a cute storyline, where he met a guy equally uncomfortable with ladies approaching him and certain behaviour of the ton, and they could have slowly developed something together. the thing is, i feel like they were afraid of actually giving him any genuine, profound connections with someone beyond sex, because i guess they are afraid it would undermine his actual love interest in his season (especially because the only way for fans to really accept that their favourite ship is done with (death) is occupied by a different bridgerton, iykyk). plus they didn't do a great job with brimsley and reynolds in queen charlotte, just removing reynolds from the story without any explanations, as if that makes sense, so i suppose they could have also been afraid of fumbling a queer storyline in that way again, which wouldn't be great. so in the end they really wanted to have their cake and eat it too with benedict's bisexuality this season.
I do feel a little weird about it because it felt like that right at Benedict was becoming comfortable with himself, they had Tilley confess her feelings for him. I’m not against them being together, but it kinda gave off the vibe of her reducing his bisexuality to “oh, he just likes having a little fun”. I’m curious (but a little cautious) of how they’re going to move his story forward.
I think a big problem is that in TV shows/movies, only actions make someone not straight. For me, it was obvious since season 1 that he is bi. But I guess some people needed proof. Otherwise, he can't be bi... and this way... you can still make his story about the original love interest without a genderswap... if there was actually a little love story with a men... other fans would not love a love story with a woman... I guess it is just a complex topic 😅
Okay, I just realized that it makes sense for Anthony and Kate to be in India because part of Fanchesca's story is that Michael is in India for 4 years. If it's going to be Michaela going to India, we will still get the chance to see Ant and Kate and their baby
Honestly as a bisexual myself, I loved seeing Benedict finally be open with himself but to me it does showcase the editing & cuts of this season made no sense to me. Its too many quick cuts instead of long drawn out scenes. I dont know if they switched editors but I think thats why ppl think this season had too many side plots bc it was edited very chaotically
That’s exactly what it is! I was very happy for Benedict but it was defo edited really weirdly. One lengthy scene of him with Tilly and Paul would’ve been great but chopping it up and slicing it in the middle of other scenes in the episode? Very odd decision
"Wow, what an emotional rollercoaster! 🥺 The wedding scenes were beautifully shot, and the performances were so heartfelt. I loved how they captured all those intricate details, from the looks to the vows. This season truly delivered, and that finale took my breath away! Can't wait to hear your thoughts! 💖 #Bridgerton"
I am so happy you enjoyed it and I agree with your opinions about the series... I loved this season and I truly enjoyed this love story, there were many tears here for me aswell because it was just wholesome... yup I am almost sure that Franchesca will be with Michaela and I am all the more excited esspecially because the actress is South African... argg it was just beautiful... and Kanthony were just perfect love them loads aswell
For starters, I do not have a problem with the gender swap. What I do have a problem with is them seemingly making it look like she will never love John. In the books, she does love him and it truly hurts her when he passes. Her book is supposed to show that you can have multiple loves in a lifetime. As soon as I saw the kiss at the wedding I had a feeling they were going to mess with one of my favorites of the stories and I think I might end up disappointed.
First of all, thank you for another entertaining reaction to bridgerton. Second of all, I feel sooo single now. hahaha. jk, you two look cute. Lastly, I would just like to verify if we have read the same book series you mentioned. I have read the same kind of series of books about a group of friends and i was obssessed with it. The Knitting in the City series by Penny Reid.
I can see how some people might see the sex scenes with Benedict to be a bit too much in the amount department, but I saw his storyline for this season to be about him discovering a part of himself that he did not know about, whether it may be about his sexuality or otherwise. Also I agree with you on the Colin and Penelope points. The difference with their story compared to the previous ones is that they had additional seasons to build on their relationship, more so on Penelope's case. I for one am excited for the other Brigertons, specifically Benedict and Francesca.
What kills me is they act as if whistle down was some horrid human it’s kinda absurd! All she did was write the truth she wasn’t saying such horrible stuff lmao. So funny. Also it kinda funny how different things must have been back then like for Polin to marry even with everything going on what she likely would have said now is let’s fix things before we get married not after that’s silly lol
19:35 I thought the same too...maybe it's for Benedict's season's plot? a lot of us are convinced that season4 is Benedict's season. I mean I heard that they've casted his love interest
I'm going to be entirely honest, I feel like this season wasn't really worth the wait and especially with them splitting it into two parts like they did. It's not because there's a lack of intimate scenes, but because I do feel like this was so rushed and it feels incomplete, and too many side plots like the solicitor, Philippa and Prudence being pregnant.
3 Bridgerton love storylines finished, 5 more to go. At this rate, Bridgerton will end in 2034, but I ain't complaining, I don't want the show to end anytime soon.
i don't agree that benedict got nothing with substance, he literally is exploring his sexuality and discovering his feelings for men, i think it's a lot more than just sex...
I think the issue is she wants more, like maybe more about his hobby or personality. While I enjoy him expressing himself to me it gets repetitive ngl, to me he’s only sex and it’s mentally exhausting exhausting I feel like I don’t even know about his character other then sex
@@beabzz_ my brother in Christ I just said “more” as in I want to see that side of him more, I feel like I saw so little of his passion for art I want more

Yeah, I don't like Cressida either. Season 3 was good, I just hope Netflix releases the cut scenes though. Polin is my favorite ship. Loved your reaction.
I’m all for having lgbtq plot but hopefully not for Francesca. Eloise and Benedict are right there. And Eloise’s story sucks anyway then Benedict’s as well tho I want Sophie so they can change Phillip but not Michael. I don’t like how the last part felt like a betrayal for John when she didn’t “feel” the sparks when they kissed. Francesca had two different kind of love, one not being better than the other.
I personally disagree, but I am definitely scared they’re going to mess up her story especially with her infertility issues and her loving John. We still have a lot of time though we’re probably not going to get her story until 2030 😢
@@redpanda_009 I think making Michael to Michaela would mess up her story which is one of the good ones while Eloise and Benedict aren’t and could use some change. Ya, I agree with you, but if he married Cressida then she would have been financially stable which means that she would not need to blackmail Penelope, and her identity as LW would have been kept a secret.
hard disagree, he likely just could tell she was putting up a mask/performance as pen was before she was honest with him which he said is what he wanted, someone “who knows who they are”. this season showed us why she’s how she is and she could have been better in her friendship with eloise but being forced into that marriage made her take impulsive desperate choices others in her shoes would have
@@huefiles -- Nope. From the moment he met her, when she said she'd rather be hunter than prey, he was on to her. Of course, he continued to be nice to her. He's a good man.
"this season showed us why she’s how she is and she could have been better in her friendship with eloise but being forced into that marriage made her take impulsive desperate choices others in her shoes would have[.]"
You're saying you would do as Cressida did? Interesting. I wouldn't have.
"Don't you think I would have done that had I wanted to!" 😂
That’s the one!!!!😂😂😂
Regarding Francesca's relationships there is no overlap. So if they decide to put a cheating storyline in... I'll be upset! Because I don't like cheating storylines... But yeah I won't say any specific details but I will say that, in the book, Francesca DOESN'T have any romantic or sexual feelings towards Michael until John passes away.
I literally just watched your last vid and then you posted this
Impeccable timing I must say
omg same! i was just abt to comment this
They really waited a month to give us these episode so we'd get Bi Benedict and Michaela's introduction during Pride Month lmao
Omg they’re so real for that
I really enjoyed this season, while it wasnt perfect, it is definitely my favorite season and i loved all of the happy endings.
Such an authentic and hilarious reaction. ❤ thank you for this !!
Nahhhh I need to see ur whole dress it looks soooooo good
Yessss that joker scene was sooooooo funny tho the dialogue was peak.
I love the little snippets, it’s nice to know you are happy ❤
The Francesca face bothered me, because the message was supposed to be romantic love comes in many forms. Passion and attraction too. You don't need to be toxic and all over the place. So the whole "i forgot my name" so she forgets her name. It was disrespectful to the entire love story they created. John and Francesca were perfect, people were talking about love on the spectrum, they have soulmate vibes, they match each other very well. So why the fuck they can't have a healthy sexual life just because they aren't fighting and kissing in the rain, and desperate and angry. I honestly loved their story and it left a bad taste.
Yep, same.
9:47 THISS!!!! Also, i already get migraines which are made SO much worse by alcohol so i cannot imagine trying to endure that during my wedding 😭😂 and youre skin also gets dehydrated asf from being hungover too 🫠😬
24:57 Not your man coming in, how cuuuuute!!!
the way i fell in love love with you while watching you react to bridgerton😭
Really enjoyed your perspectives.
Same for ben's track!
And to think they deleted some beautiful polin scenes from the original cut for that track 💔
They did what now? What scenes? 😭
@@m.carmenlopezjimenez2649 they cut out lot of scenes from ep 7 nd 8 acc to the earlier screening audience and a voice artiest who did pen😭.. there is even a petition going on to restore them !
I also had to pause and look up the value of £10k now. I was very impressed.
1.1 million
Yep! And she had her mom selling off the candle sticks haha!!!
@@rcbuckets girl I would do that too...because she earned that herself
I worry that they might change Francesca's story too much, because I like how John is her soulmate and her first great love. The way they wrote the ending kind of feels off for how they wrote their relationship through the whole season. The whole time Fran showed she felt comfortable and then grew to have so much love for John. I could understand maybe they don't have a passionate love, but I don't know, I'm going to hold off on any major judgements till I see how they proceed with the story.
I was sad for him, she loves him so much in the books. I would have liked it if Michaela was the one who fell in love at first sight without knowing that she is her cousin's wife
I totally agree about Benedict’s scenes in ep 8!!!
SO GOOD!
i am glad they confirmed that benedict is bisexual like everyone's been wanting the whole time, but i would have preferred it if they didn't do it through the repetitive lens of sexcapades he's been having these three seasons. he could have had a cute storyline, where he met a guy equally uncomfortable with ladies approaching him and certain behaviour of the ton, and they could have slowly developed something together. the thing is, i feel like they were afraid of actually giving him any genuine, profound connections with someone beyond sex, because i guess they are afraid it would undermine his actual love interest in his season (especially because the only way for fans to really accept that their favourite ship is done with (death) is occupied by a different bridgerton, iykyk). plus they didn't do a great job with brimsley and reynolds in queen charlotte, just removing reynolds from the story without any explanations, as if that makes sense, so i suppose they could have also been afraid of fumbling a queer storyline in that way again, which wouldn't be great. so in the end they really wanted to have their cake and eat it too with benedict's bisexuality this season.
6:11 Not Lady Violet being Daphne in season 1😂😂
“They do seem happy, they do” as you and your bf kiss 🥹🥹🤍🤍🤍
FYI in the book there is no overlap. There is actually a four year gap. And the first was actually great which made the guilt worse.
I am so happy you enjoyed it and I agree with your opinions about the series... I loved this season and I truly enjoyed this love story, there were many tears here for me aswell because it was just wholesome... yup I am almost sure that Franchesca will be with Michaela and I am all the more excited esspecially because the actress is South African... argg it was just beautiful... and Kanthony were just perfect love them loads aswell
wait but i so understand all the jewelry being missing, i have no clue where all my gold necklaces went either😭😭
Like???? Where did they GO???? 😭
@@MonicaCatapusan RIGHTTTT😭
all mine are either gone or so horrifically tangled they're impossible to wear 😭
IT WAS SO CUTE U AND UR BF GIVING SMOOCHES 😭😭❤
How can Anthony be from Marriage is just a transaction to a total simp to his wife? 😂😂😂
I love your reaction to my favorite🥰show.Happy Pride Month everyone.🏳️🌈
24:52 aww good for you girlie!!!
(I’m seething with jealousy rn)
They made Benedict seem unhinged. Like Sir, you left your brother’s wedding to have a trio, seek help.
No cause like Benedict this season was anywhere but involved in his family😭😭
But the truth destroyed people
@@bukolaalale8260 consequence of their own actions!!
19:35 I thought the same too...maybe it's for Benedict's season's plot? a lot of us are convinced that season4 is Benedict's season. I mean I heard that they've casted his love interest
They have other rooms, but his dramatic ass wants to stay close to his wife, even tho is mad at her. He can't even go as far as another room.
Hi, that wedding kiss suppose to be longer❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm going to be entirely honest, I feel like this season wasn't really worth the wait and especially with them splitting it into two parts like they did. It's not because there's a lack of intimate scenes, but because I do feel like this was so rushed and it feels incomplete, and too many side plots like the solicitor, Philippa and Prudence being pregnant.
Ngl I’m so excited for Francesca’s season!!!!
Everything you said about Benedict's plotline and how repetitive it is... Yes.
J'ai adoré la façon dont tu étais dans les rêves devant le geste affectueux de colin et soudain la reine 😂😂😂
PS je te trouve sublime 😍
rip benedict bridgerton you would've loved challengers 💔
Is your bf Filipino?😮 you said you also have a happy romance and it seems like you do indeed🎉
He is💖🥺
you should totally watch dead boy detectives if you haven't already seen it, it's a really interesting show
3 Bridgerton love storylines finished, 5 more to go. At this rate, Bridgerton will end in 2034, but I ain't complaining, I don't want the show to end anytime soon.
you and your bf are so cute omg
Benedict…whiplash…😂 so true. That story line aka threesome made absolutely no sense for the Polin fans 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ loving the reactions and comments 🤣🥰
Can someone pls tell me what book is she talking about???
i don't agree that benedict got nothing with substance, he literally is exploring his sexuality and discovering his feelings for men, i think it's a lot more than just sex...
I think the issue is she wants more, like maybe more about his hobby or personality. While I enjoy him expressing himself to me it gets repetitive ngl, to me he’s only sex and it’s mentally exhausting exhausting I feel like I don’t even know about his character other then sex
@@Kilie_Morton._.OrangeCat_Roo did you just forget all of season 1 and his passion for art
@@beabzz_ my brother in Christ I just said “more” as in I want to see that side of him more, I feel like I saw so little of his passion for art I want more
@@Kilie_Morton._.OrangeCat_Roo you called his character "just sex"
@@beabzz_ ya but if you read my comment which you clearly didn’t, you would be able to use your comprehension skills of your to read I said “more” cause I wanna see more but because the past two season of him were his banging he is just “sex sex sex” in my eyes, he has barley any personality for me, which is why I’m hoping when we get his season. He will show more of himself in different ways not just. 🤷♂️🤦
Monica you are giving bridgett barolt
Ok but why are you and your man so CUTE!?
Yeah, I don't like Cressida either. Season 3 was good, I just hope Netflix releases the cut scenes though. Polin is my favorite ship. Loved your reaction.
What the book series you were referring to? It sounds interesting and i want to look it up.
Bridgerton by Julia Quinn
Is not a one bedroom house, that's another part of their bedroom as well
I’m all for having lgbtq plot but hopefully not for Francesca.
Series Eloise and Benedict were also somewhat queer coded since s1 so that would make sense but I lean more on Eloise coz she had more of that energy while Benedict is more on just exploratory.
Dont get me wrong i like s3 but i'm a tiny bit disappointed. For a season focusing on Polin they dont show Colin enough
You didn't talk about the the part after the ball with Polin.
🤘🏿
Ahhh pinoy din jowa mo teh? Ang cute niyoo 💕
Yes we both are🥺 salamatttt
I feel bad for Cressida. I know she did terrible things out of desperation, but I was hoping for a redemption arc. Her life has been miserable.
She was cruel to Penelope in every season was that also out of desperation
@@darla1204 no that was due to her upbringing. By redemption arc…I was speaking on how we saw her start to be a bit more human, before she went rogue again.
People are finding so many reasons to hate this season without any logic and understanding just because they didn’t like Colin and Pen’s characters from season 1. Glad you understand how beautiful their story was.
