More than just still played, it's very much back in print and growing with new cards, expansions, and very polished and convenient preconstructed starters if you ever want to give it a fresh try 😉 The community has been steadily growing in the last few years ^^
I haven't played the game for 27 (?) years (Jyhad), but today I'm introducing both my daughters and their friends to the game! I picked up the "introduction box" and later searched the attic and managed to find all my old cards!
Sure. Adding Sabbat could make sense, but I tried to keep at what one would need in a demo of the game. You're likely demoing with the current V5 material, so no Sabbat nor Laibon (yet)
Indeed there is ☺︎ But it is so rare (almost inexistant) in casual games, I don't think it deserves a mention in such a short tutorial. Moreover, it's only half a VP in tournaments rules, and there are currently talks to align the core rulebook to this ½ VP rule in the future so as to remove an awkward and unnecessary rules discrepancy. All in all, the withdrawal technique is very niche, and one I think should be only considered in a tournament setting. There's really no reason and no window to withdraw in a casual game. Except if everyone agrees the game as been too long already and should stop there: but do you really need a rule to let you stop a game whenever you want? 😋
I haven't played since before they changed the name of the game. Lovely to see it still being played!

Sects: Independent, Camarilla, Anarch, and Sabbat (older editions, not in V5 yet but coming soon™)

Hey Lionel, good job with this video!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this video I just spent a while taking notes for my first unassisted game tomorrow. ❤❤
Awesome! Don't hesitate to come say hi on the discord and ask about any question or blocker you had with your first game 😉
@codexkrcg4867 thank you! I definitely will I'll have to join your discord :-)
I seem to remember that there was another way to earn a Victory Point: by withdrawing... right? Or is that from an older edition?
