To be fair it never occured to me that someone may not know what the 3 point line is. Maybe it can ask your basketball knowledge because i absolutely hate tutorials that give the "press up to go forward" that all vr tutorials have. If i was told i had to take it back or what a 3 point line is, maybe this is harsh, but id assume the devs think we are tarted up something fierce. Good vid tho
While watching the review i was reminded that i played a free basketball game on steamvr a few years back. Well, as it turns out it was some kind of beta of Blacktop Hoops and i now own the full game. Sweet.
yea it also has a really big bug in multiplayer atleast for me sometimes other peoples hats would be so huge that i couldnt even see rim but i have 61 hours in the game from beta and full game combined they did do some cool things in the full game but i think the beta was a little better mainly with the hands cause the hands in full game look really weird its like your person is really skinny and barely eats but its still my main game on vr
Just curious... are you from America? I'm guessing no simply because you're not familiar with basketball at all. Which makes sense as I wouldnt understand hockey rules or rugby. I would also want a tutorial, but curiousity hit me
Lol I grew up in the US and live in Canada. I never played sports and don't follow any of them. I'm a gamer 😅 I understand more about basketball than this video implies, but when you're thrown into an unfamiliar environment in an unfamiliar game, some better guidance would be ideal. For instance, when playing the 1v1 match I had no idea how to "win" the game in terms of how many points I needed to score - irl basketball games are timed, so I assumed there would be a clock somewhere. 21 seemed to be the number I needed to score though, but I had no idea until the game ended 😅
@@ThisKory gotcha. Streetball is a little different set of rules. I grew up in California so every school had a basketball court and even for PE they would have us play. But I'm older and maybe they don't do that anymore, or more likely different states do different things. Now thinking about other sports, hockey would be a blast. anyways, cool vid brotha
This has to be THE basketball VR game, right?!
Nba fans here?
Idk y this vid has no likes it’s an absolutely great video
Great vid as always Kory!
Thank you! 💜

That's awesome haha! What a great surprise!
Didn't check steam yet but on quest I'd still need to buy the campaign so it's not the full game
yea if you owned the beta of the game you would get the full version for free which i think is really cool because then it rewards the og players
W
