@padreof3 I don’t think 🤔 it’s the people working there, I think 🤔 it’s those techs that come out every so often for maintenance. The manager at mine is clueless 🤷🏾♂️
This has always worked for me but I found out how it worked by accident because no employees knew how it worked. The only problem is every treadmill or bike doesn’t work someone has to come out and set them up. At my location i have narrowed down 5 treadmill that always sync and 2 bikes. I go so early in the morning I can always get one, when I go at night because I do 2 a days I have to get lucky and I usually do.
@@Justbready1 no I just put mine up to it face down on top of it and it activates, but sometimes it’s not working like it’s supposed to. I went to the gym the last two days and it never did work and then all of a sudden on the exact same machine it started working. asked the people who worked there if they know anything about it but most of them are oblivious to this feature.
I cannot get it to work at my PF location. The employees are saying they’ve seen one person use it and we’re gonna ask them how they do it for me. They should know! I’m going to tell them that they have to turn the feature on each machine.
My PF has the little tap emblem on the machine, but without the fancy screen on the machine. The Apple Watch also doesn’t trigger a workout with it. Tried a bunch of the machines. I wonder if it just isn’t turned on for the machines at my location.
Some of the locations haven’t activated it on their machines. Not sure why? My son has the Apple 4 and it works on his and I have the ultra and it works. Sometimes it’s hit a miss too. Even when I ask the people that work their most don’t even know how it works lol 😆
Maybe that’s what that is because at my planet fitness here in Sacramento I was very annoyed by the fact that you can’t connect to the treadmill and I really wanted to. I thought that was a really cool idea because then everything is synced up but it’s not, and I believe that the system or the option on the treadmill is turned off and I agree none of the employees know that this is an option. They were actually surprised and wanted to know how it works.

No dice but the information from my watch doesn’t hit the machine (heart rate) and the distance doesn’t go from the machine to my watch. Bummer

@@usscamdenaoe2 these companies just don’t train their employees. The only way I found out was to find a UA-cam video like you did, lol 😆
