I often wondered if Komova losing her Amanar vault was more due to her growth spurt than any ankle issues. Some said it was that but I always felt it was just due to being much taller. Her 2012 Amanar was excellent. I just wish Rio had happened for her because her bars was far and away the best in the world by then.
