    Thanks for the helpful video. at about 8:40 there is a small black tube between the contact tip and the gas nozzle. What is that and where did it come from?

    Good video,to add comment I suggest disengaging drive roller when purging to save on wire and turn on valve slow so not to damage valve gages and regulator.

    Is this 100 welder capable of welding thin aluminum? I have a aluminum boat I need welded a couple of 2"+ cracks in bottom! It is probably only 14 gauge material!

      Out of the box you won’t be able to weld aluminum with this welder. Lincoln does make a spool gun which will allow you to “MIG” weld aluminum with this unit. I personally haven’t used one. I usually use a TIG welder for aluminum. Very different process, but works well after some practice.
