Dragonball Z: Dragon Ball Z continues the adventures of Son Goku in his adult life as he and his companions defend the Earth against villains including aliens (Vegeta, Frieza), androids (Cell), and magical creatures (Majin Buu). At the same time, the story follows the life of Goku's son, Gohan, as well as the development of his rivals, Piccolo and Vegeta. Dragonball Z Kai: In February 2009, Toei Animation announced that it would begin broadcasting a remastered version of Dragon Ball Z as part of the series's 20th anniversary celebrations. The series premiered on Fuji TV in Japan on April 5, 2009, under the title Dragon Ball Kai. The ending suffix Kai (改かい) in the name means "updated" or "altered" and reflects the improvements and corrections of the original work. The original footage was remastered for HDTV, featuring updated opening and ending sequences, new music, and a re-recording of the vocal tracks. The original material and any damaged frames were removed, along with the majority of the filler episodes to more closely follow the manga, resulting in a faster-moving story. Dragonball GT: Dragon Ball GT is an anime-exclusive sequel to Dragon Ball Z with an original storyline using the same characters and universe, which follows the exploits of Son Goku, the series protagonist who is turned into a child; his granddaughter, Pan; and their associates on a quest to collect the Black Star Dragon Balls, a more powerful set of Dragon Balls which are hidden throughout the galaxy. Dragonball Super: Dragon Ball Super (Japanese: ドラゴンボール超スーパー, Hepburn: Doragon Bōru Sūpā) is a Japanese manga series written by Akira Toriyama and illustrated by Toyotarou. Set during the time frame of Toriyama's original Dragon Ball manga, it follows the adventures of Son Goku and friends during the ten-year timeskip after the defeat of Majin Buu. After the defeat of Majin Buu, Son Goku is seen working as a farmer and his family and friends live peacefully. However, the God of Destruction Beerus awakens after decades of slumber. Beerus, along with his Angel assistant and teacher, Whis, seeks a warrior known as the Super Saiyan God, threatening to destroy the Earth if the warrior loses to him. Goku transforms into the Super Saiyan God with the help of his friends, battles Beerus and loses, but his efforts appease Beerus, who spares the planet. Dragonball Super Heroes: The series is set outside of the main continuity and explores several alternate scenarios within the franchise. Following the Tournament of Power, a mysterious figure named Fu, who after kidnapping Future Trunks, lures Goku and Vegeta to the Prison Planet, an experimental area which Fu created and has filled with strong warriors from different planets and eras in order to force them into a game where they must collect the seven Special Dragon Balls if they wish to escape with their lives. Dragonball Diama: A wish is made to Shenron that transforms Goku and most of the characters, including Vegeta, Bulma, Master Roshi, Piccolo, and even Supreme Kai Shin and his attendant Kibito, into child-like chibi versions of their former selves, known as "Mini" versions.
welcome to the world of Dragon Ball. RIP Akira Toriyama who created everything here (except for GT, but it's still worth watching). now, there are multiple versions for the original Dragon Ball opening AND the first Dragon Ball Z opening (!). you should check those out as well
I remember watching this on TV with my parents when I was a kid, lol. It's way too long ago I don't remember much of it but I did like the long hair blondie Goku haha! Maybe I'll rewatch it here when you catch up to that later!? Enjoy your DB experience! ✨
Dragon Ball is an absolutely iconic series that started in 1984, it's a mix of Fantasy, adventure, sci-fi, comedy, martial arts. It's pretty much the father of Shonen, nearly every other shonen took inspiration from Dragon Ball like HxH, Naruto, One Piece, OPM...etc (the authors said that in interviews) the workd would've not been the same without this legendary show/manga
You should check out the Americanized versions of the openings as well. The ones for DBZ and DBZ Super are amazing. GT is a little strange, in my opinion.
i mean the original OP's are goated but the 3rd one in german (Du wirst unbesiegbar sein) has SUCH a GREAT vibe and they do the OP JUSTICE, pls check it out even if you dont do a video about it
Brief Explanation for you: Dragon Ball: The adventures of Goku's childhood up to adulthood. Dragon Ball Z: Goku's adulthood as a father, spanning from his son's childhood to his son's adulthood. Dragon Ball GT: The Non-Canon continuation of DBZ where Goku is transformed back into a kid Dragon Ball Z Kai: A cleaned-up version of DBZ's first three Sagas without the filler (Best version to watch) Dragon Ball Z Kai - The Final Chapters: The fourth Saga of DBZ, cleaned up as well. And a brief time skip at the end. Dragon Ball Super: The Official continuation of DBZ, though it technically takes place right before the brief time skip at the end of Z (As of now it's still ongoing) Dragon Ball Heroes: A Non-Canon promotional anime for a card game
I'd recommend watching DragonBall Z Kai instead of DragonBall Z since it's basically just Dragon ball Z but without filler episodes, with modern voice actors and soundtrack and it's also way more faithful to the original manga made by Toriyama-sensei (Rip to him). It's a remaster to put it shortly (orignal dbz came out in 1989, dbz kai came out in 2002 if i'm not wrong ? And it's the version i grew up with 😎)
Something that annoys me is when not only does the reactor fail to do simple research, it's that some nitwits slap in Dragon Ball Heroes without so much as ANYTHING to say how it relates to any of this at all. Dragon Ball Heroes and Dragon Ball Super Heroes are promotional cartoons for the card game of the same name. It is not part of the main series and is just whatever. Anything goes in Heroes. Not to be confused with Dragon Ball Super: Super Heroes. None of the DBZ movies except Battle of Gods and every movie afterward are canon. They're basically retellings or just fun stories. Dragon Ball GT is a thing that happened. But it is not canon. Dragon Ball Kai is Dragon Ball Z remastered for HD. It cuts out a lot of the filler from DBZ that exists solely to slow the pace until they caught up with the manga. Dragon Ball Super takes place in the time skip between DBZ's final arc and its ending. Going to never before seen heights and action. The Anime is not an adaptation of the Manga. The Manga is NOT the source material. Both anime and manga are adaptations of the movies Battle of Gods onward and whatever major points Toriyama wrote for both sides to do. Remember....The anime was a spectacle that broke the internet as it went on, despite the rough start. The manga torpedoes itself into obscurity every arc with something dumb, uncool and very controversial. Dragon Ball Daima takes place before Dragon Ball Super and Battle of Gods and is the latest, currently on going series. Sticking to the original Japanese versions is best for consistency's sake. (ESPECIALLY with the movies) The heavily LOCALIZED English is for if you want to baby it up, experience confusion, question blatant inconsistencies with itself, and avoid the wrath of Toei. Best watch in order of release. It wouldn't hurt to skip GT not because it's non-canon, but because it's dull, boring, not very funny, and loses the plot really bad as the animation team makes increasingly desperate course corrections to save the series before ending.
@@Savage.-_.Gamer1 Me too. That op has nothing dragon ball about it. It's just random scenes from the anime with some 3rd rate rap under it. I guess it boils down to the fact that I grew up watching the original Japanese version so I don't have rose tinted nostalgia glasses on when I see the tragedy that's the funi dub.
Everyone who is saying that z and kai have no difference are lying. DBZ original dub has a huge translation and voice line problem. The whole reason kai even exists is because of the origin z dub's inconsistencies with the manga. Original z dub goku and kai goku are two different characters watch kai it's the better version even the voice actors themselves agree.
Gohan's voice is also much better in the kai dub which made me be able to watch the dub. I can't watch dbz's dub no metter how many times I tried (I watched it up to almost the end of Namek) because Gohan's voice is just horrible. His voice hurts my ears. A 4-11 year old shouldn't sound like a 40 year old chain smoker. Plus the amount of mistranslations dialogue additions which ended up completely changing some characters personality and terrible music placement to where it should be silent or the music just simply didn't fit the scene at all and the overall bad voice acting make it unwatchable to me. You can imagine my disappointment when I - who grew up with the original Japanese - watched the dub for the first time and realised that they not only changed the music but they also messed up a lot of characters by changing the dialogue.
It's funny I only read Dragon Ball manga when I was young but the OP I probably heard it when I was young because it's sound so farmiliar. Dragon GT OP probably is my favourite.
In my opinion, the 3rd English Opening of Dragonball Z Kai is the best DB theme song. The second best DB theme sing for me is the English version of the theme for the Original DB show.
So since there seems to be a lot of confusion and catching up to do here, here is a little explanation (I will abbreviate Dragonball to DB) Dragon Ball (Classic) are the adventures of child Goku to young adulthood DBZ are the adventures of the adult Son Goku who has now become a father, the little one with the Dragon Ball on his head and the monkey tail is his son Son Gohan the second DBZ opening is the rest up to the end of DBZ, the little one who looks like child Goku is his second son, Son Goten DBZ Kai is just DBZ with a little more beautiful animation and no filler (so no extra stuff that didn't appear in the manga) DBGT was a variant of how DBZ was continued, but this was not by Akira Toriyama and is therefore NOT canon Dragonball Super is the NEW official sequel to DBZ and also written by Akira Toriyama and is therefore also canon DB Super Heros is a pure spin-off project and has NOTHING to do with the real story, it is based on a arcade card game that exists in Japan If you want to catch up on the story, start with DB Classic otherwise you won't understand a lot of things, it's very different from DBZ or Super but it has its own charm and character Then DBZ and then Super and if you want that then DBGT but the plot isn't that good in my opinion because it wasn't written by Akira Toriyama which you can tell
If you wanna Start with Watching Dragonball, start with Dragonball, go to Dragonball Z, then Dragonball Super, then watch Daima und GT in the End if you want
Kai is more accurate to the manga and cuts alot of filler, but damn man, u need to experience the faulconer theme and vegeta combination at least once in your life
Everyone in the comments fighting about Z vs Kai haha. Both are great and each have their pros and cons and not to mention the shitshow that is the different versions of them.... Most people arent even aware of the different box sets and home releases which each have their own quirks and what not.... for example which soundtrack is better? Faulconer score (American localization) or Kikuchi score (Original Japanese)? or perhaps the Yamamoto score for Kai which was then replaced by a different score due to plagiarism... Would you prefer a more concise and faithful adaptation to the manga? Sure! that's awesome! but then you would be missing out on some pretty great filler such as the charming and iconic driving episode... Kai has great voice acting, great music and is shorter making it more digesteable, however, for me personally it feels like you're rushing through the story and the "updated" animation kind of takes away from that classic 80s and 90s animation that makes it feel nostalgic but it is still a great watch regardless. DBZ has IMO the BEST score (Kikuchi) and that classic animation, however it does sometimes feel like it drags on for a bit too long, there are some filler arcs that kind of suck (looking at you Garlick Jr) but some filler arcs and episodes that I feel are absolutely terrific (other world tournament and the aforementioned driving episode) the voice acting is definitely not as good as kai but it has it's own charm and sometimes feels more "real". DBZ is closer to my heart as that's how I watched it growing up and therefore I have a clear bias towards it. TLDR: Do whatever YOU think is right. I can go on and on about the differences of each version and try to explain what the correct way to watch Dragon ball is but the thing is that there is no such thing! The correct way to watch it is gonna be YOUR own way.
DBSH - Dragon ball super heroes is an arcade card game which is like yugi oh or pokemon you collect cards battle againts player or npc or computer at arcade machine do missions the goal of animated series is to visualize the attack and fights among cards which is way better than narrating it if you could see some kids like girl and boy and others. thats the player example me and you we play and we use those cards to play againts enemy.
Just gonna throw this out there, even though people have already said it lmao. Everything from the original Dragon Ball to GT (which is now canon by its animation studio) to Kai (a remastered version of the original Dragon Ball Z) to Dragon Ball Super is canon. Super Dragon Ball Heroes is based off its promotional card game and has no connection to the canon material at all. It's more of a "What-If" fan service type of anime. It's still enjoyable but if you're going in with the mindset of it being connected to Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Super you're gonna be hella confused.
Long term wise DBZ is better but the only diffrence is that DBZ kai is shorter bc there are no Filter episodes.. and the voice acting is a litle diffrent and thats the only diffrence..
its also doesnt have the same soundtrack which is amazing in original. honestly DBZ is better to read as manga overall imo. original anime is way too slow and awfully paced and kai fixes the pacing but messes up colours some scenes and the music. there is sadly no official best way to watch DBZ. but some people are working on a recut of DBZ which is so far like kai but without its flaws
The pacing in dbz kai is better but..i'd say alot of iconic speeches and moments feel way more real and easy to connect to in DRAGON BALL Z , in the KAI it gets kinda weird at some points the dialogues feel kinda forced..so make sure to go for the original

You absolutely need to watch og to fully appreciate Z. OG is where Goku becomes Goku and where the main themes of the DB world are set up. Its the beginning of the journey. This is like saying that it's fine to start One Piece post timeskip because pre time skip is just character introductions.

Our story begins as most do with a teenage girl shooting a little boy in the face.
its illegal that kuu zen zetsu go is not included
It always gets replaced by the english one. I like the english one but kuu zen zetsu go is just as awsome and it's the original opening for that arc.
The most nostalgic op for me is gt for sure. We used to watch it all the time at like 10 at night with my brother when we were like 8
Basically pick dragon ball z or dragon ball z kai, i personally pick kai as the better watch but its up to preference
Kai in japanese, because is uncensored and have the original soundtrack intended for Kai
CHA-LA HEAD CHA-LA , hits hard
welcome to the world of Dragon Ball.
RIP Akira Toriyama who created everything here (except for GT, but it's still worth watching).
now, there are multiple versions for the original Dragon Ball opening
AND the first Dragon Ball Z opening (!).
you should check those out as well
I remember watching this on TV with my parents when I was a kid, lol. It's way too long ago I don't remember much of it but I did like the long hair blondie Goku haha! Maybe I'll rewatch it here when you catch up to that later!? Enjoy your DB experience! ✨
I think that was the western opening for Kai the final chapters
Dragon Ball is an absolutely iconic series that started in 1984, it's a mix of Fantasy, adventure, sci-fi, comedy, martial arts. It's pretty much the father of Shonen, nearly every other shonen took inspiration from Dragon Ball like HxH, Naruto, One Piece, OPM...etc (the authors said that in interviews) the workd would've not been the same without this legendary show/manga
The Intro right after the GT one, wehr i heard Dokan sometimes. Is from Dragonball Kai(basicly a shorter version of Dragonball Z)
You should check out the Americanized versions of the openings as well. The ones for DBZ and DBZ Super are amazing. GT is a little strange, in my opinion.
Why does no one ever think that the characters have grown up and had kids of their own? They think it's ither clones or the characters have shrunk.
Because these dunderheads are incapable of comprehending the idea of characters aging.
i mean the original OP's are goated but the 3rd one in german (Du wirst unbesiegbar sein) has SUCH a GREAT vibe and they do the OP JUSTICE, pls check it out even if you dont do a video about it
Kinda sad that most reactions don’t include the 2nd variant of Opening 1
Brief Explanation for you:
Dragon Ball: The adventures of Goku's childhood up to adulthood.
Dragon Ball Z: Goku's adulthood as a father, spanning from his son's childhood to his son's adulthood.
Dragon Ball GT: The Non-Canon continuation of DBZ where Goku is transformed back into a kid
Dragon Ball Z Kai: A cleaned-up version of DBZ's first three Sagas without the filler (Best version to watch)
Dragon Ball Z Kai - The Final Chapters: The fourth Saga of DBZ, cleaned up as well.
No “rock the dragon” intro?! Classic dbz English intro
My favorite intro ( which isn't on this list ) was Rock the Dragon. An intro made for the dubbed version of DBZ.
It really does have a certain charm to it
I'll never understand this...
@@Savage.-_.Gamer1
Me too. That op has nothing dragon ball about it. It's just random scenes from the anime with some 3rd rate rap under it. I guess it boils down to the fact that I grew up watching the original Japanese version so I don't have rose tinted nostalgia glasses on when I see the tragedy that's the funi dub.
@@az639 same
Here is your timeline for the show. OG DB, DBZ, DB DAIMA (Just started) , DB SUPER (Still pending ending), DB GT (Optional)
Dragon Ball Z Kai is fire
Dragon ballz kai is dragon ball z remastered version
Kai is definition of quality over quantity
Even the Daima is here 🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥
Are u by any chance dutch?
i am in fact dutch hahaha
I recommend just read the manga, it's much faster and just as good
Wait why did that list skip the actual Buu Kai opening?? 😭
It's weird since it didn't use the dub version of any of the other openings
now reacts to all endings xd
Rip Toriyama
Son you will need to swallow this show the way it is intended with all the filler episodes. It's more fun like that 😉
My top 5 intros:
1. DBGT - Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku
2. DBS - Genkai x Survivor
3. DB Daima - Jaka Jaan
4. DBZ - Cha La
5. DBZ - We Gotta Power
It's funny I only read Dragon Ball manga when I was young but the OP I probably heard it when I was young because it's sound so farmiliar. Dragon GT OP probably is my favourite.
Dragon Ba Z Kai is an updated reanimated version of dragon ball z.
In my opinion, the 3rd English Opening of Dragonball Z Kai is the best DB theme song.
The second best DB theme sing for me is the English version of the theme for the Original DB show.
I would recommend watching DBZ instead of Kai based on the sound track alone
Kai is closest to the manga source material so its better.
Eglish dragon ball z and gt openings fire as fuck
Just not
You gotta check out the English dubbed theme of the og dragonball.
So since there seems to be a lot of confusion and catching up to do here, here is a little explanation (I will abbreviate Dragonball to DB)
Dragon Ball (Classic) are the adventures of child Goku to young adulthood
DBZ are the adventures of the adult Son Goku who has now become a father, the little one with the Dragon Ball on his head and the monkey tail is his son Son Gohan
the second DBZ opening is the rest up to the end of DBZ, the little one who looks like child Goku is his second son, Son Goten
DBZ Kai is just DBZ with a little more beautiful animation and no filler (so no extra stuff that didn't appear in the manga)
DBGT was a variant of how DBZ was continued, but this was not by Akira Toriyama and is therefore NOT canon
Dragonball Super is the NEW official sequel to DBZ and also written by Akira Toriyama and is therefore also canon
DB Super Heros is a pure spin-off project and has NOTHING to do with the real story, it is based on a arcade card game that exists in Japan
If you want to catch up on the story, start with DB Classic otherwise you won't understand a lot of things, it's very different from DBZ or Super but it has its own charm and character
Then DBZ and then Super and if you want that then DBGT but the plot isn't that good in my opinion because it wasn't written by Akira Toriyama which you can tell
Definitely watch DBZ Kai. It has updated VA and such
If you wanna Start with Watching Dragonball, start with Dragonball, go to Dragonball Z, then Dragonball Super, then watch Daima und GT in the End if you want
Nice. Do more dragon ball z gt super
1)limit break x survivor
2) dan dan kokoro hikareteku
Kai is more accurate to the manga and cuts alot of filler, but damn man, u need to experience the faulconer theme and vegeta combination at least once in your life
DRAGON BALL ZEE 🗣😈
dbz kai is dbz without filler but its censured
DBZ Kai the dub English version is soo lit as well
DBSH - Dragon ball super heroes is an arcade card game which is like yugi oh or pokemon you collect cards battle againts player or npc or computer at arcade machine do missions the goal of animated series is to visualize the attack and fights among cards which is way better than narrating it if you could see some kids like girl and boy and others. thats the player example me and you we play and we use those cards to play againts enemy.
dragon ball goat 😍😍
To answer your question bout "who is this,i dont know",you should watch dragon ball, dragon ballz, dragon ball super too..
Kuuzensetsugo was not in the reaction :(
You can start Dragon ball from daima, it’s too canon and perfect for new fans
👌👍🔥
Goku have 2 son.
Gohan first born
Goten second born after cell saga
Vegeta have 2 children.
Trunks born
His baby girl born in super
ONE PIECE OPENINGS NEXT
Just gonna throw this out there, even though people have already said it lmao. Everything from the original Dragon Ball to GT (which is now canon by its animation studio) to Kai (a remastered version of the original Dragon Ball Z) to Dragon Ball Super is canon. Super Dragon Ball Heroes is based off its promotional card game and has no connection to the canon material at all. It's more of a "What-If" fan service type of anime. It's still enjoyable but if you're going in with the mindset of it being connected to Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Super you're gonna be hella confused.
o7 Rock The Dragon
Long term wise DBZ is better but the only diffrence is that DBZ kai is shorter bc there are no Filter episodes.. and the voice acting is a litle diffrent and thats the only diffrence..
No that is not the only difference 🤦
There no blood
its also doesnt have the same soundtrack which is amazing in original.
honestly DBZ is better to read as manga overall imo. original anime is way too slow and awfully paced and kai fixes the pacing but messes up colours some scenes and the music.
there is sadly no official best way to watch DBZ. but some people are working on a recut of DBZ which is so far like kai but without its flaws
Great reaction..
Can you react all kamen rider intro?
Please do all Naruto and Sailor Moon ones
Bro knows jiren but not goban
空前絶後が無い…Z改の時点でわかってた
The pacing in dbz kai is better but..i'd say alot of iconic speeches and moments feel way more real and easy to connect to in DRAGON BALL Z , in the KAI it gets kinda weird at some points the dialogues feel kinda forced..so make sure to go for the original
Z改ってことは、魔人ブウ編のop違うな…
dragonball z kai have 2 opening. 1. dragon soul and 2. kuu zen zetsu go
japanese>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>english dub
Bruhh what where's the English dub intro for Dragon ball Z "Dragon dragon, rock the dragon, dragon, ball, Z" lol hands down beats All Dragon ball intros.
pro tip dude, when you try to fake your reactions, dont give it away the next sentence after saying '' i have no idea what this is'' followed by naming 3 of the characters lol,wtf is this?nicholas light tv larping?
Canon:🟢
No canon:🔴
Unconfirmed:🟠
🟢Dragon ball: The original DB that tells the adventures of Goku after arriving from space on a ship
🟢Dragon ball Z: We have a time skip where Goku is married and has a son, this series delves into Goku's origin
🔴Dragon ball GT: Continuing after the events of Dragon Ball Z, Goku is turned into a child and he, along with Trunks and his granddaughter Pan, must discover how to return to normal. In this series Akira Toriyama only contributed with character designs, but did not write the work. It's not canon.
🔴Dragon ball Z Kai: It is a remastering of Dragon Ball Z (not a Remake), improving the image quality, sound effects, eliminating filler chapters, censoring, and redubbing the voices with better audio quality.
🟢Dragon ball Super: Continuation of the Dragon Ball Z series, this adds the element of Universes and universal fights.
🔴Dragon ball Herores: It is a promotional anime for the arcade card game of the same name. It is only available in Japan. It's not canon.
🟠Dragon ball Daima: Dragon ball 40 year anniversary anime. This series will tell a story similar to that of GT, the difference is that Akira Toriyama worked here, and it was his last job before passing away in March 2024. The story takes place after the events of DBZ but before DB Super. It has not been officially stated if this content is canon.
thanks for reading! Greetings from
this is amazing!! thank you so much for sharin this!!
Daima is confirmed cannon now, and Kai is cannon to the Manga mostly
@@Savage.-_.Gamer1 The English script was very modified, here in Latin America they were based on the English script and we ended up seeing Butta and Jhease as bicurious aliens, I know what you mean but if we remove the filler from dbz it ends up being more canon than zkai, although I personally prefer kai
@@YAMAaaaaaas I think they are tho 😏

From your voice i know you dutch or flemish right
You have to watch dragon ball bro , and this is not a reaction the main openings still need to be added , one of them the third opening in dragon ball Kai and the other ops in super ...
dbz kai is just the clickbait version of normal DBZ it just have different VA dialoges and thats it.. the only bad thing about it is that its shorter then DBZ wich i don't like bc i cant get enough of dragonball
It's the better paced version
The Freeza arc is dragggggggeeeddddd out like hell
@@Quackmire_DingleMfs out here watching one piece and saying they like better pacing
@@razortk77g95 This is an issue with every Toei project.
Especially strong with dbz and early one piece, you can't tell me a planet that is stated to explode in 5 minutes exploding in 9 episodes is not terrible pacing.
@@Quackmire_Dingle wdym early OP? Did you forgot dressrosa or what?
He goes from i dont knowm this directly to whos this kid all those new charachters come on bruv wtf is you talkin bout
ANY DB ANIME THAT SAYS ANYTHING FROM GT...THAT...MAKES IT CANON. UNTIL THEN. NOPE!
You have ro watch the it in JAPANESE dub because English dub changes the script and it totally changes each character
kai and super are more accurate
He doesn't have to but he should
If he watches Kai than he can watch the dub because the Kai dub corrected the mistakes the Z dub made but if he is watching Z he should watch it Japanese if he actually wants to understand the story and wants to experience the actual characters and not their Americanized versions.
Dragon Ball daima is latest Dragon Ball anime it's after Dragon Ball Z you can watch it aftet completing Dragon Ball and Z it has the best animation way better then Dragon Ball Super 😅
The EUA destroys dragon ball so much with this dub
og z
Honestly, I never watched the original Dragon Ball all the way through, but I have seen all of Z and Super. I don't think you really need to watch the original to appreciate Z, it only provides a little bit of background info that you kind of pick up on when you watch Z.
I also haven't watched all of GT because I didn't like most of it. Also, it's no longer considered canon, so...
You absolutely need to watch og to fully appreciate Z. OG is where Goku becomes Goku and where the main themes of the DB world are set up. Its the beginning of the journey. This is like saying that it's fine to start One Piece post timeskip because pre time skip is just character introductions.
@@az639 I have never watched One Piece, but I have seen Terminator 1 2 and 3, and I can honestly say that you don't need to watch the first one there. I have seen some of the original Dragon Ball, and I don't think it's necessary because, as I said, everything that needs to be explained for Z to make sense is explained in Z. The original is good and it's a nice bit of background to build onto the world, but it just isn't necessary to understand or appreciate Z.
Rock the dragon was S tier 💥
I grew up with that shit. Sadly it isn't a widely accepted DBZ intro haha.
It ain't that good tbh.
Ok bro
You're glazing hard
Hesntly bro i watched al the series and the ppl telling you to not skip dragon ball are just dummies. I bet they just want you to react so a scene from db super hits better but other than that that shit boring af and not necessary in the story telling. Just worry about dragon ball z and super
Many people love the OG DB, and it helps develop Gokus character and develops the world.
Only an idiot(like you) would skip the OG DB.
This is like telling someone to skip pre timeskip One Piece. OG DB is the first half of Goku's life. We see what shaped him to become the adult Goku we all love and it also allows us to be more connected to the other characters. If he skips OG he won't even know who Piccolo is or why his appearance is terrifying but also good news for our main cast.
