The difference between a private user and a professional. For home use the Parkside equipment is really pretty good quality for the price. I had a Parkside cable saber saw. I did a lot of work with it and used it for tasks it was not really designed for. broke the reciprocating bar where the blade goes while cutting wide bits of tree logs. I wrote to Parkside and asked for that part willing to pay they said when did you buy it? We told them when and where. They never even asked to see the receipt. We just sent pictures of the broken part. They sent from Germany a brand new saber saw at no cost it took about four days to arrive. Now that is great customer service. I really can't fault their stuff for the price. I just recently bought one of these drills and I think it will do for what I need it for. It is really like the difference between a Tiger and a house cat. Tigers don't usually hunt mice. House cats don't usually hunt deer. But both are cats. :)

The smoke from Parkside is from the grease. Have allot of grease and goes to the motor. You will see the smoke 5 -6 times whenn will be hot. Afer no smoke on Parkside. For the price is the best on market for this quality. I wait to see how much will last the batteries in time. Cells looks well made.
The temperature measurement was rubbish. The measurement equipment had to be rebooted. In the meantime the temperature of the bosch was dropped 30c down. When you measured it correct, the difference was maybe 10c.
@AllHandmade i have problem to find this model to buy i also saw PSBSAP 20-Li A1 with hamer thats 150 Nm but i cant find any of them to buy?? can u give me some link??
The price in germany for the Parkside is under 100 € (full box incl. akku and charger), the Bosch costs solo ~200 €, with akku and charger up to 450 €. The products from Parkside are more than sufficient for private use. Parkside is sold by a very large discounter and B-stock is often offered at half price. You should hit it straight away.
To be fair, some other idiot in germany also designed the easy to disassemble bosch. Whoever designed the Parkside probably had to use some existing platform and make it look like whatever the customer (lidl) wants.
Bosch for anyone that wants to do real work. Parkside for the person wanting to boast about manufacturer specifications. I've owned or tested most Parkside performance tools and they don't last at all. Utter pieces of crap when you start using them seriously.
It just depends on what you intend to use it for. If it's for professional work buy the Bosch if it's for DIY buy the Parkside. Or you could buy a Makita.
im using the PPBSA 20-Li A1 new version with hummer for 4 months with intensive use and i only found 2 negative aspects: -the plastic handle lock mechanist sucks, will break with time -The chuck wobbles a bit Its litle things that can be easily fix in future version but im kind of impressed, of course Bosh its better but come on, almost costs 3 times more
I was exactly thinking the same way, but now it's quit the opposit cause my parkside performance tools don't work after 6 month of use... so i decided to repair or replce my old bosch tools. Parkside is a complete wast of time, you'll see.
It seems the Parkside is a clear example of too much power with low control. Maybe they'll improve it with future versions. For now, I think I'll stick with my Performance 60nm. Ty for the detailed review! P.s. could you make a video (or a short even) on how to disassemble a chuck? I'm having problems with a green parkside one.. it seems glued to the arbor shaft
Well, I would 100% agree with you if the 60 nm version wasn't so bad. I already went through 3 drills with very light use. The 3rd one lasted about 20 seconds sadly. I got my money back and picked up this one on sale. Let's see if its any better. Needless to say I am not after the torque at all. Also most of my other PS tools last just fine. Only had a couple fail and I have about 40+ tools so its not really a hate either.
From the internet: "So, the difference between hard torque and soft torque is this: Hard torque is how much the driver will produce when you're working with hardened fasteners and materials like stainless steel. Soft torque is the maximum torque you get when you're working with softer materials, like pine."
Thermal measurement like this is worthless, especially on Bosch. The measurement was something average between motor and enclosure temperature. Parkside had much larger ventilation holes that resulted in better motor visibility and thus higher temperature measurement. To measure Bosch through the holes, you'd need thermal camera with adjustable focus and higher resolution.
I beg to differ that bosh biturbo is the strongest drill in the world I have two drills that beat it although I would love to get my hands on that Parkside to put them against US versions of the Milwaukee and flex24v turbo hammer drills.
I've both, the bosch is still working (3 years warrantly) and the parkside don't work anymore, it's just don't start after 4 month of normal use (even if the warrantly is 5 years) just like other parkside performance tools. Ok Bosch is pretty expensive but not so much compare to the complet wast of time of the parkside tools. I've almost all of them and they stop working one after the other, one of them has almost burn in my hands, it maked a hudge smoke...
I had parkside performance hammer drill and protection was trash, when i was screwing m16 bolts and it fried electronics. They have potential but design needs improvement. Unfinished work.
Thanks for the review. Regarding the Bosch bluetooth module (GCY 42). I've got myself a few of these. They are manufactured in Poland. As for the overtemperature protection: it might be only measuring the battery temperature (so it doesn't burst into flames) they probably don't care much about the motor melting (it'll just stop)

I bought Parkside. First real use and they all smoke. They indeed are only good for home use & hobby. I couldn't even dream to take a parkside and screw in 6000 metal screws when installing a fence in 40 degrees celsius. I can do that with Makita with no issues and if you look at the price, these brushless drills from Makita, Bosch aren't that expensive.
The Parkside has a low efficiency motor and a badly designed motor driver. Your test under load is very significative. Parkside tools are a cheap alternative to professional tools, for occasional light duty work. I wouldn't pay 100 Euros - or any sum for that matter - for a dangerous drill that will set itself on fire at your first heavy-duty work. Greetings, Anthony
I am not so rich to buy cheap stuff. With Bosch (and other good brands) you buy not only better and more reliable tool, you buy also wide service network and lots of spare parts. I can still find parts for my father's Bosch sds hammer drill that is 40 year old. It is still funtioning and can be fixed. Parkside will fail every time when you need it the most. And then, you can throw it in garbage and loose precious time to drive and get new tool. It usually fails on some stupid part like switch or casing or similar and it is not fixable. I had lots of cheap brands and it is all junk (Parkside included). No service, no parts, fails after year or two, usually in the most critical moment of work. 5 year waranty is a joke, they know that 95% of people will not bother and loose time to replace this. I am buying only good brands that have service and parts in my country and had never a single problem with my Bosch tools (I like Bosch becasue it has very long presence in my country). And come on..... Tool this days is so cheap that anyone can buy good quality tool. 200-400 euros for good Bosch (or other major brand) tool is no brainer (40 years ago when my father bought the drill was totaly different situation, good tools where expensive and rare) Fuck! I can eat and drink in one night difference between Bosch and Parkside! You cheap bunch of sissies! :)
Dude there are ppl that are working for 500eur a month do you really think they can afford 300 eur drill? Regarding Parkside its quite good for its purpose and it can last you 5 years easy.....From your experience you probably need Hilti or other top brand because you use your tools more intensively.
Боша е страхотен,но не съм съгласен че е one of the best in the world.
Bosch is more for intensive use, ie., professionals. Parkside is cheaper to buy, but in the end, more expensive for money and for environment because of more frequent failures and more frequent replacements.

@@lolocemoipopo7537 I know, but mostly they just have 2..5 random tools on sale. E.g. your 20V drill breaks - but in shop there's only angle grinders, hot air guns, chainsaw and a 12V drill. You either have to stop your project until drill shows up on sale or but completely different system - battery, charger, drill.
IMHO they should've at least offer every tool from their range online in with fast shipping to any LIDL shop in europe.
I agree, that handle bar looks very cheap. Pretty odd considering that the 150-C is their "flagship" model.
Have you looked all the video. I have disassembled the tool. No grease around the motor and windings. And its purely overheating - 93 degrees vs 54.
You should hit it straight away.
bro you have 5 year of guarantee so whats the problem use this as professional use?
Love you PARKSIDE ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing machine the Parkside, insane powerful.
Indeed!
To be fair, some other idiot in germany also designed the easy to disassemble bosch. Whoever designed the Parkside probably had to use some existing platform and make it look like whatever the customer (lidl) wants.
La mejor comparativa que vi , de una. Forma totalmente igual de nivel de esfuerzo
I'm undecided whether to buy the parkside or the 110nm bosch, what do you think??
If you have the money Bosch is still the better choice
@@icku 220€ bosch with 1 battery 3Ah and battery 5Ah, charger and bluetooth module or 120€ the parkside whithout battery.
Good comparison. Thanks for the video! I am interested if the PARKSIDE has any wobble of the chuck, did you check it with something straight?
Thanks! No wobble at all. The same as Bosch :)
FLEX and Milwaukee can offer 158Nm also with anti kick back system
Great video, keep up the good work!
Thanks!
Could you please tell us the model of infrared camera you used in this video?

Bosch for anyone that wants to do real work. Parkside for the person wanting to boast about manufacturer specifications. I've owned or tested most Parkside performance tools and they don't last at all. Utter pieces of crap when you start using them seriously.
Dude there are people assembling drywalls 10hrs a day for a living using Parkside performance and its working good
if parks is copy of Bosch why use different batteries?
Very professional review.
Thank You .
Glad you liked it!
I just noticed Bosch is actually using a heatsink on the stator!
It just depends on what you intend to use it for. If it's for professional work buy the Bosch if it's for DIY buy the Parkside. Or you could buy a Makita.
im using the PPBSA 20-Li A1 new version with hummer for 4 months with intensive use and i only found 2 negative aspects:
-the plastic handle lock mechanist sucks, will break with time
-The chuck wobbles a bit
Its litle things that can be easily fix in future version but im kind of impressed, of course Bosh its better but come on, almost costs 3 times more
I was exactly thinking the same way, but now it's quit the opposit cause my parkside performance tools don't work after 6 month of use... so i decided to repair or replce my old bosch tools. Parkside is a complete wast of time, you'll see.
I laughed hard at dissasembly "some idiot in germany designed it" hahaha 🤣 Nice review and greetings from Poland!
Thank you! Happy that you liked it.
Already have one: ua-cam.com/video/qxlzkSmTnKA/v-deo.html
and how to disassemble its internals: ua-cam.com/video/cas8w5laVC0/v-deo.html
@@icku wow, awesome! Thank you so much!!
Keep up the great work 💪
Well, I would 100% agree with you if the 60 nm version wasn't so bad.
Hi, what is it's soft torque? I mean how many Nm does it have on 2nd gear? Can't find manual anywhere online.
From the internet: "So, the difference between hard torque and soft torque is this: Hard torque is how much the driver will produce when you're working with hardened fasteners and materials like stainless steel. Soft torque is the maximum torque you get when you're working with softer materials, like pine."
@@icku I know, but you can only get 150Nm on 1st Gear, 2nd is faster but weaker. Im interested in Nm value on 2nd gear

Wow I'm subscribing that's an awesome review ❤
Thanks for the sub!
Pushing 90Amp almost continuously and you wonder it smokes. Man , it's welding currents. I am BOLTR.
Lidl has the parkside on sale for 60€ in the coming days with 5 year warranty loolz 😜 definetly buying one
the smoke is probably from greese
depend of laquer - winding of bldc motor can easly go up to 120*C operational temp ...or even 150*C
The BLDC motor probably can withstand 150 degrees, but for sure the plastics around it cannot :(
@@icku carbon fibre reinforced plastics will easily meet 200C no problem.
I think the parkside is good
Thermal measurement like this is worthless, especially on Bosch. The measurement was something average between motor and enclosure temperature. Parkside had much larger ventilation holes that resulted in better motor visibility and thus higher temperature measurement. To measure Bosch through the holes, you'd need thermal camera with adjustable focus and higher resolution.
Great review, thank you.
If you remove the Procore from Bosch and put in a common battery with 18650 cells. It would be well below the Parkside.
I beg to differ that bosh biturbo is the strongest drill in the world I have two drills that beat it although I would love to get my hands on that Parkside to put them against US versions of the Milwaukee and flex24v turbo hammer drills.
Thank you for your review, 👌
My pleasure!
Parkside rocks!
Great review, good job, thanks 👍
Glad it was helpful!
By "potato masher" you mean a stick grenade?
Yep
Its not from Germany. Its Grizzly Tools. its a US Brand.
Good and Fair Review
Thanks for the review. Regarding the Bosch bluetooth module (GCY 42). I've got myself a few of these. They are manufactured in Poland.
As for the overtemperature protection: it might be only measuring the battery temperature (so it doesn't burst into flames) they probably don't care much about the motor melting (it'll just stop)
Thanks for the info!

@@icku write in english like everybody else whats the point of this if everybody writes in their native language
I already knew you gona break those 10x180mm bolts. You need to make a predrill first, smaller than 10mm, let's say 8mm.
The idea was to make it as tough for the drills as possible. Not po make it easy.
The BOSCH is the BOSCH.
These tests are becoming hard for the testers with these tools we could only imagine arround 15 years back loolz...
Parkside winns every time.
parkside performance line is very strong and durable and half the cost. All equipment is made by Grizzly Tools
Who was copiyng the design?! xD Parkside looks VERY similar to the Bosch and vice versa!
I like the sarcasm! 😂
Greetings,
Anthony
Please use 8 ah baterry this tool wery morę powerfoul
Its an 8Ah :)
I have the SDS parkside performance hammer drill it blew my friends Milwaukee SDS out of the water
Happy to hear that ;)
I am not so rich to buy cheap stuff.
Bravo; we have a virtue signaler in here in the quest of "saving the planet" You deserve a medal. now please cut the environmental talking and let us drill in peace.
@@balauruldeaur1271 So insecure... no one and no comment is stopping you from drilling ! Happy drilling, driller !

Nobody knows yet how long the Parkside would last in similar conditions
@@Thomas_2615 Actually yes, there are testimonies and tests about that (Parkside lifetime and quality compared to Bosch, booth tools and batteries) on YT. Basically they don't compare with Bosch. Milwaukee and Makita seems to be very good too, though below. Dewalt have sometimes design and reliability problems. Bosch batteries are significantly superior to all others in terms of temperature and lifetime, but they are more expensive.
Bosch is a pro grade tool. Parkside is a grocery store brand .
