- I’m back with Another Boothill video (and probably the last). Will he be a main DPS that is the same level of Acheron and Jing Liu? This video show some changes to his kit, some of his possible builds and i hope this will help you to decide whether you should pull for him or save some stellar jades for future Characters! I would not underestimate Hanya as a Free2Play option. Since she is a Physical Harmony unit, she can run the Penacony Planar Set and the 4* Asta Lightcone (Planetary Rendevousz) to give Boothill a permanent 22%-34% overall Damage Increase. Pair that with her great skill-point geberation AND her Ultimate that buffs Boothill even more, she can be a very good choice. She is also pretty Eidolon friendly, which is great for F2P players or low-spenders!
@@jorgevelasquez62 True that, thankfully her Ult gives you a lot of Speed and Attack to balance it kinda out. I would overall prefer her over Bronya tho, even tho the Damage% increase is higher, it's also more hard to pull off with SP-Management. With Hanya you could just turn off your brain and shoot for the stars :)

Hanya isn't a bad 4* option because she is at least physical, so she can help lower the toughness bar of enemies alongside Boothill. The speed boost is nice, but I'm not sure how valuable the boost is when Boothill will already be running a lot of speed. Maybe if she is using Dx3 she could give him an additional turn in a cycle or she can be built with break effect to do some damage alongside Harmony MC.
Bronya and Ruan Mei are definitely better options, but they are 5*. Hanya is fine as an E0 4* though.
The only thing that hanya buff is speed since atk and dmg bonus is useless for break comp, her ult being 140 is also costly. Not to mention she could steal Boothill's break since they are the same element

i really hope i get him! his design looks so cool, im really interested in learning his lore, and i’ve seen so many edits and cool fanart of him already!! i’ve been saving some jades for a while and im hoping i can guarantee him.. i don’t have a guaranteed 50/50. and it also wouldn’t help if someone like fu xuan is the rerun character

I think his LC will be such a game changer, rumour has it there will be a BE set that lets u ignore Def based on how much BE your character have. It should be coming in version 2.3

interesting. will wait for boothill trial before actually getting him. i have ruanmei so pairing her with him is just a given, but very stellar jade is valuable! 😢😢
personally running 2pc glamoth for planars. 140 break eff (no lc yet), 50/150 crit ratio, and phys damage orb. i have 145 speed in my current build so considering +10 from ruan mei and +12 from his lc, he can easily hit the 160 breakpoint. the planar and extra substats will make up for the attack
alr got Sparkle for Boothill and Harmony MC will be able to obtain soon, so def getting Boothill then Firefly if I can
Very excited for the Bootyhill, Hat MC and Ruin Me team comp. But I probably won't use Gallagher as the sustain because I'm not good at keeping my team alive if I don't use one of my 5-star sustainers. I'm sure he will do great regardless.
Maybe he's going to fight Acheron in the next update?
I wonder if when harmony blzer gives boothill the extra break dmg on his attacks if that would use the def pen

Break/weakness break seem to be the theme on the next few patches. If I'm not mistaken, even sam seems to scale off break effect.
And that’s a HUGE middle finger to those who don’t have Ruan Mei, or lost their 50/50 on her, like me 😭.
Even if she reruns it’s likely her OR another new character.
I’ll just stick to my Acheron then.
@@mp9104 ruan isn't good for firefly. Firefly wants to weakness break a lot so putting ruan on her team is counter synergy.
@@mp9104harmony mc is a free break based support that will pair great with Boothill. I don't like ruan mei so I'm purposefully skipping her

Hmc vs bronya who is better? Running Ruan mei is a no brainer but the other slot is hard. Using Ruan mei as a sustain and running both bronya and hmc would also be kinda fun
if the harmony mc buffs smth with break effect then they will be better since his dmg scales around break effect.....apparently he has a lot of cd in his kit so u wanna focus more on cr, spd and break effect
i have no plans on getting boothill. but i wanna know if an e6 sushang can be a replace in a team comp specifically for him. and if anything i wanna roll his signature lc for sushang lol
She is good with MC but the only issue is they have to be on Element obviously. Luka, Sushang, Hook, Topaz, Himeko, and maybe even Sampo of all people can do well with MC bc of their typing and the amount of hits they do

57/116 crit, 137% be and for now let's assume his atk would be more than 2000. I'm using a rutilant planar (basic atk/skill dmg buff) and a physical+atk relic, he will be using s5 swordplay btw.
Is that build worth/good enough?

SW is Silver Wolf, so the idea is to break enemies as fast as you can before they hit you. Sparkle is ideal cuz SW's weakness implant would be only quantum/physical whereas if theres bronya you could risk getting wind implant. this team is kinda niche cuz when you replace anyone it's not gonna break as fast unless the monster's elements matched.
Hypercarry brainrot got to you smh, run Natasha instead of sparkle for more consistent sw or a top tier sustain, both will cut out the cringe hours long attempts to 0 cycle just to post

Genuine question, why is Ruan Mei better than Bronya if we already have a ton of weakness break efficacy between tb gallagher and boothill passive?
Turn delay from ult, so enemy will be in their weakness broken state longer and RM give Res PEN too. Bronya's additional crit dmg wont effect boothill's break dmg

Ruan mei gives 25% res pen, boost spd, makes u do more dmg with break in her burst i think not sure, 69-70% dmg bonus, delayes enemy´s action in her burst once u break its weakness (hope i listed everything)
I think if you don't have ruan mei you could use team combination such as:Boothil,HTB,Bronya,Galagher the idea of bronya is to build her full speed with no crit stats and run boothil with hp/defense boots because boothil will receive increase damage from enemy and very squishy and bronya then will skill spam making it boothil has the same speed as bronya
is there a second best option for sustain instead of Gallagher?
i would say any 5* sustain thats not so sp negative will do...like huo huo, luocha, fu xuan or aventurine maybe even gepard but the sustain will be worse then with the previous ones

I’ve been waiting for a good synergy with Clara because I really like her play style. But everything they add that gives her some benefit has some sort of anti-synergy with her. Boothill, physical weakness implant - great for Clara; the enemy forced to target Boothill - bad for Clara. Hoyo are a really scared of Clara for some reason.
I dont have Rm or Bronya, but i want him so bad. But its like, what the purpose if i cant support him properly.

He's really good but the thing is if i went for him and go for sam the next patch, I would be benching him if sam ended up being a hyper break unit just like him. Not official but sam also seems to have weakness implant at e1 so gonna wait till sam kit got reveal in beta.

5:33 your disclaimer that 2000 attk and 200 break "may not be achievable" is extremely worrying as if you did a few calculations you could figure out that those stats are extremely low and any boothill with +15 relics will be able to achieve almost 1.5x that
Yeah, 2000 atk is like the average even for support units like Silver Wolf or Welt, so why wouldn't Boothill reach that easily?
So how does boothill get energy?
similar to blade, skill doesn't generate energy..
enhanced attack will refill his energy as well as basic attacks.
A bit off topic but how good is Robin actually I have every harmony character except Sparkle and Hanya and I kind of just want to fully invest into Boothill rather than double dipping
Robin is pretty solid, but the thing about her is she benefits the most from a follow up attack team so unless you invested into Dr. Ratio, Topaz and Aventurine. Id say skip over Robin

I plan to pull foothill as the last character until a few patches. I wanna save money after. I might get him up to E2 and S1 and that's it. Next time I'll pull is probably 2.7 or 3.0

Is 200 BE even achievable without his LC? I struggled so much to have at least 160-170% BE on my breaking units, and it`s with BE weapon. Not to mention their atk is trash and under 2k with speed boots.
You`re telling me you can get 2200 atk as well as 200+ BE on him while also focusing on good crit rolls? Does he have a lot of both in his traces or what kind of delusion is this?
I think you can forego some of his crit since break dmg isn't affected by crit
maybe not when in character page but in battle yes that is very do able.
Boothill has abt 37% BE from traces.
BE set gives 32% BE
Talia gives 36% at 145 spd (which u should have)
BE rope is about 64%
thats about 150% mor or less depending ur spd on talia
Not to mention the substat roles ur gonna be searching for
the new Harmony Trailblazer can give 30% BE from ult + 30% from watchmaker set. About his crit stats, really in battle all of those crit hits is only abt 20% of the damage, meaning its not even that crutial for crit substats, just keep looking for BE.

Boothill skip reason: he isnt going to be useful on an account that has critDPS characters and buffers like sparkle, his damage is based on weakness break, meaning he might lose value when the enemy isnt weakness broken, he needs an amazing sustain because of his taunt, quite situational due to break AV manipulation with ruan mei/ boothill talent
For sustain, you could run def% and still not lose damage on relic main stats cause his crit scaling is close to garbage.
Shut up dear, boothill is the most fun character to play. He gives himself 150% crit dmg and 30% crit rate so you only have to build him a break effect dmg dealer. He's also so F2P that you don't need to think too much about his lightcone and teams. If you play him solo he can easily hit 300k. If you play him with just harmony MC he does like 600k.
You don't even have to worry about the physical weakness since boothill puts a weakness on the enemy.
If you want to skip him, skip in silence we don't want to hear such nonsense.

Could Tingyun work instead of Ruan Mei? I don't really want to use Bronya since I use her with Blade, and I want to be able to use both teams in, like, Pure Fiction, Forgotten Hall, ect. (I don't have Sparkle, SW and Ruan Mei.) and I also don't know how to build teams lol
