I used the same 12 volt kit for my Ford 9n, everything went smoothly and was a one afternoon job. When I tried to do my TO 20, I had the same problem with the water pump nut and had to take the whole front end off. Also the mounting bracket was a joke with those long slots to mount to the engine. I think the Chinese made it this way to drive us a little crazy. Thanks and good luck.
I forgot how many issues I had with this tractor until I went back and watched some of these older videos! I'm glad all of that is behind me now! Once this is running reliably there are a few things on the Farmall A that need attention, but that tractor is for parades and runs pretty well.
