Nice review. I had wanted to get a Gravitas pen for some time, and this was one of the models I was looking at, but was holding off due to some of the troubles that I read about. Then along came that video that Ben did with Emy, and that was my signal to start looking again. This time there was a different pen that caught my eye, and it was the Gravitas Kyuseido Kakari!! It was not an inexpensive pen, but I just had to have it & I've been using the pen for about a month or more. It's every bit as good as any of Ben's other models, and the filling system is similar to the Conid Bulkfiller. The one I got was an Acrylic/polycarbonate barrel Titanium parts in a blue matte finish with a 14 Kt Gold Extra Fine nib. If you get the opportunity, you should try writing with one.

Nice review! I can’t help looking at this pen and wishing they did more with the design (especially at the price). Maybe a titanium cap and end finial to balance out the band below the grip? Plus then you don’t have to worry about plastic meeting metal threads.

This is a very nice alternative to the 823. How would you compare it to the As one V200?

When looking at the pen description, it says the pen is polycarbonate. Is that different from acrylic? I only had the Ultem version a short time but love it so far.

The pen is great, the tolerance is so good in fact that the vac filler fails, the rubber stopper pops off when you are cleaning it, so make sure that you keep that in mind when cleaning it. Mine also writes great, no complaints other than that.

My rubber stopper has stayed perfectly in place from several fills and cleans of this pen. Interesting
