Prime Sunil was a monster
I so agree with the observation that Yusuf Pathan is such an unicorn when it comes to Indian cricket. A prototype T20 player who started before T20 was born. Sehwag’s explosive starts were always under-appreciated because he wasn’t getting as many big scores as traditionalists would like. Jayasuriya showed in one season what a monster he would have been at his peak (add his bowling to it). Symonds did make his mark in the IPL but peak Symonds would have been a GOAT. Would have loved to see Shahid Afridi and Andrew Flintoff play more in the IPL!
Would've loved to have seen peak career McGrath be a new ball specialist, Lance Klusener probably being a no. 4 or 5 in T20(because well, there's not enough time to be a no 7 in 20 overs), peak Warne, Murali and Kumble be middle over controllers, tho Kumble I'd just give him the new ball kinda like Badree.
Klusener would have been an IPL No. 3 probably. In the ICL, they used him as opener, which also makes sense! Interesting idea of using peak Kumble like Badree. A couple of nee ball overs for sure, but I think Kumble would also have been a good bowler around the late middle overs because he was hard to get under. Shaun Pollock could have been another IPL legend, and he would have batter No. 5/6 for most IPL teams!
this shows how amazing is dale steyn the t20 bowler earlier on! arguably the best fastbowler in the early tournaments
What a superb video, amazing work by the stat team really. This channel deserves 1 million subscribers.
Really intresting..... All rounders are my favourites; was fascinating to see the stats as well... Shane Watson , Andre Symonds , Pollard... ; found Sehwag more interesting than I thought
i saw this notification again and i was confused until i realised it was a reupload
As always, fantastic Jarrod. Awaiting the next episode.
Sunil marine at his peak meant you only played 16 overs
Quality content as usual
Brilliant Episode Jared !
This just became my favourite video.
What an amazing video!
Great idea! Can't wait for the next one :)
sehwag and gayle were ahead of their times.
Sunil Narine❤️❤️
i feel conditions should take some weightage as to who is more valuable. kohli in 2016 had a strike rate of 150 but was still below the average strike rate of all the runs scored in the games he took part in. which is why i will always rate warners 2016 ahead of kohlis 2016. even tho theres obviously other reasons like playing arguably the best innings in ipl playoff history against gujarat and of course kohli having an average playoff run
omg all hail King Jarrod!
Would love to see this with footage of the pandamonium that they orchestrated. Alas , that’s licensed, and the ones employed to work with it on broadcast are piss poor at analysis!
I would pay subscription fees to see Jarrod analyse and dissect on broadcast.
Right... I have to ask. Who does all the data gathering? Is there some intern painstakingly going through match reports and Cricinfo records, tallying things up, to create a database to build the infographics from.
Or is it all done by algorithm?
Why a re-upload?
Do you mean irfan and maharoof were extremely useful in their roles? You said useless haha
Waiting for exit review/interviews.
