The rise of Jos The Boss.
This doesn't tell the full story of the over. I was there. It was wet and cold and Jos had been getting out cheaply that summer - usually with his signature flick over fine leg. It was his first summer playing for England and there were whisperings that he couldn't do it away from Somerset. This over changed his life.
I remember the TV commentators (Sky TV that is) and they were all saying before this innings that he should move up the order to fully get the best out of his talent. That it took 6 more years before he was promoted to open full time is amazing in itself.
