I ordered the flow control filter last week and I’ve used it a few times already. It is absolutely great and using it enhances the whole coffee making experience. I don’t have to use the inverted method anymore and that is fine with. Me. The inverted method produces only about half a cup of coffee whereas the flow control method produces a full cup of coffee. It is wonderful and I don’t think I will ever go back to the old method again. Thank you Aeropress.
Just ordered after watching this. Currently i tamp the grounds tightly and immediately give it a 20-25 second press. ( Water won't leak through when you pour. ) It's decent to me. The new cap probably would be much better! 👍
@@JosiahDuenes I finally got the attachment and been using it for about a week. It definitely is a big improvement to flavour. Yeah, I don't think i'll ever use the regular cap again. Thanks for the video demo!
I got one, and tossed it out. POS. I have two AeroPress and couldn’t get it to fit properly. It leaked out the sides. Tried to return it but AeroPress would not reply (to multiple contact requests) or offer to replace it or refund. Total junk.

I picked this up and followed your recipe to make an iced latte (replaced the water at the end with milk and syrup) and it came out great. Thank you!

It’s been a great tool and I started using it daily! I haven’t used the regular cap in a while at home 😂

Honestly either is great. Id grab this since its from aeropress themselves and im sure they will ensure compatibility is thought of on the long run

Dang I’m sorry you had a bad experience with yours. I haven’t had an issue with it fitting on any of mine. 😞
There is a newer version that doesn't got that issue... it looks wavy. I've read about some people getting it replaced with the newer one.
