if you didnt watch it properly, most were resellers trying to make profit or getting paid by someone else to wait in line. It's money that makes people do this. The rich don't care and will pay any price to save time.

Most of the people there buy the iPhone to sell it immediately after for 2 or 3 times the price to people who want it immediately but don't want to wait in line. They make a pretty damn good profit for sitting there in line for 20 hours

Well let me explain something to you. If you do something that people will pay money for you to do for them, you can make money off of doing that thing. Many people think that the only way to make money is by going to a job. Others find creative ways to make money like these "professional line sitters". In reality, there's no normal way to make money. You don't have to go to an office job or a fast food restaurant to make money. And if you really wanted to, I guess you could quit your job and go be a professional line sitter instead.
