Dr. Nickell was my neighbor growing up. I remember him as a very nice, genuine man. He drove a Jeep J10 pickup which I thought was very cool. Greetings, Dr. Nickell!

Such a gentleman and great speaker. I enjoyed his visits to the Cape Girardeau Post Office.

I did a quick day trip recently, flying in and out for a funeral and was heart broken. I lived in Advance, Mo in the 1960’s, had relatives in Malden, Kennett, Hayti, etc., and I have to know…what the hell happened😢 Your video ended after WWII and was hoping you would go up to current day but I’m guessing it was more of the same and you didn’t have the heart to say it just kept getting worse??? When I visited my great aunt in Malden right there on W Main in the late 60’s early 70’s as a 12 year old I thought the town was doing fine. On this trip I saw people living in houses next door to burned out and abandoned houses, front porches collapsing but people still living there. My life turned out so different. Three homes, travel the world…God I feel horrible Dr Nickell.
