Nice story. maybe next time implement components without coil noise, just a thought. My own M33 unit and several others I heard have audible coil noise from the listening position, making your marketing story on "low distortion" a bit pointless.
Hi NAD , I have been using NAD equipment for about 46 years, my first bit equipment I think it was a 1232 , Not sure if that’s the right number because I purchase it secondhand in the early 80s gave up or started at hum on the phono side, back in 2019, so I brought a NAD 314 and believe it or not that’s been fine until yesterday I’ve now got a ham coming from the phono side again, Obviously I need to buy some new equipment but not sure which way to go change the brand or stay with NAD, I need a new power amp at least 150 or even 200 W if possible. And I could do with a preAmp as well, I am 71 next month, just leaving on the pension, The only good thing is I live in rural France no neighbours so I can turn the volume up as loud as I like and have nobody to tell me that they don’t like the music as I live by myself. At present I do not have a lot of money so I’ll have to go out and try and find secondhand, Is there anything you can suggest if I stay with NAD. The problem is that I live miles away from any shops or a store that sells any equipment, The end of last year I rebuilt my transmission line loudspeaker cabinets they sound amazing, SEAS Drivers units, I Listen to heavy metal , classical and just recently I’ve started listening to blues music, Nordic folk music, I’ve always been impressed with your product it’s just a shame that they have packed up after so long use, I stream my television through my hi-fi and I listen to my music anywhere between 12 to 14 hours a day. If you can give me some indication what I need to get a roughly how much it’s going to cost if there is a store that you supply that I can probably go and visit, South of France, Correze and further down. Thank you for your help. PHIL FROM THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOULIN FRANCE.
