You could look at a dual cutout system put the stock cats back on and bypass with a Y pipe before the cats straight out the side possibly. I don't really know the newer cars that well but it possibly can be done. Most muffler shops that's been around for awhile could possibly do it. I have an older muscle car and the header to straight cut out exhaust goes in front of the rear tire. when I hit the button to close exhaust it runs through the four mufflers 2 quanity 50 chamber Mufflers into straight through 2 quanity Dynomax Bullet mufflers and it's not too loud. In the day I always run the straight pipes but at night I run through the 4 Mufflers because I can't see the law coming up on me. And it's funny I have seen them turn around in the street and by the time they turn around to come after me I've already closed the exhaust they sniff on me and then take off. Because the car is quiet. And when I went by them it was loud. Quiet enough I don't get a ticket like before when it was loud and I did. And the Snows methanol kit is a great piece. If you could override it and just tap the button to spray it through the intercooler and into the motor it will chill things down and help the track times or going all out for a street race. I'm going to use my washer jug and put a small straight nitrous nozzle after the air cleaner and just tap the washer jug motor when I'm pulling a trailer so it will cool it down. so I'm not on the side of the road waiting for the motor to cool down. Also don't let the washer jug or the Snows performance motor get low on whatever liquid you run in it or you can lock up the motor especially alcohol-based stuff evaporates fast especially with no lid. I had 5 gallons of washer fluid in a drain pan come back a few months later it was all gone it evaporated. I run the 5 gallons of washer fluid in my radiator it makes for great Cooling but I wouldn't advise you to put it in your car. The reason why it will not have any heat in the winter time. And it will take forever to get the engine temperature up a little bit but the engine runs super cool even putting a half a gallon in it can makes it go crazy cool. And to get it back to normal with just antifreeze in the coolant system you will have to drain the whole thing and take the thermostat out and spray through the radiator hose into the radiator to get all of that alcohol out of it even just a quarter a half a gallon makes it go crazy. I've done it on a few older cars I've had and very little heat out of the heater core in the winter time. The hottest day in summer letting my old muscle car run for right at an hour at a car show. I just installed the new motor and wanted to make sure it would run super cool like the last engine. Also I run 180° thermostat and I run over driven water pump and alternator so I can turn my fans faster and my belt drive water pump. It Takes more power to turn over driven pulleys but I can't stand a car that runs too hot. it never got over a hundred 178 degrees but people were complaining behind me and sitting in chairs at the car show in the middle of summer. just a little heat coming out from under the car was making it hotter for them so I cut it off. you could try to take some unnecessary weight out of that car it will be easier on the transmission and other things and we'll make it faster. Telus if it has a trans brake and line lock Factory in your car or is that just the demon I think? And you got the car the two door I think it's a challenger? And your brother's charger four-door with the rap? I just could not have the heart to buy a 4 door unless I got it for a really low price because it's going to hurt if he ever has to sell it. Because most people want a two-door muscle car like yours. Look at the older cars nobody almost fixes up a 4-door Nova wagon or a 4-door Chevelle. And if you do in most resells good luck because it's going to hurt on the resale.
$4,000 for 150hp? Sounds really expensive if 800 is where you wanna STOP. I would think Nitrous would be a much cheaper route?? I know you have future plans to go 1000HP so your build is probably necessary , but what do you think about NX as an alternative?
My stock 2017 Challenger made 626 on the dyno. I would say 175 extra wheel horsepower is a very healthy amount. On pump gas none the less. Even nitrous tanks need to be refilled. I thought the meth in the washer tank was a great idea, especially when the low light comes on. Perfect.

It includes upper and lower pulleys, gates green belt, injectors and tune. I'm going with the JBA cat deletes, and LMI cai as well. I hope to be getting into that 850ish range as I will be doing a metco 2.50 on top instead of the 2.65

Did you make 800whp on stock hellcat injectors & pump? I know you upgraded the fueling at some point but I'm curious if the stock fueling parts can get to that level.
I would say yes because, at least in my area, you can get low miles used hellcats for high 40s to mid 50s. And most red eyes are at minimum 75k. That extra money you saved you can get 800 whp and not spend 25k.
With this obviously voiding any warranty, how is it on the engine? I know dodge built the hellcat engines pretty good to stand boost and all. How high of power is still “safe.”

Bro hate to say it but you over paid some my meth kit was 450 for stage 2 with the second injdction, and 2.85 for a full pulley kit was 289 tune was 550 though 757 hp though but your pulley is smaller
David Van Voris why no more meth? I’m in a large state, New Mexico, that doesn’t have E85 near me and I’d like to mirror your setup. I ran meth on all my LS based cars years ago and they had fail safes used that we’re already available in the stock ECU. The Hellcat is newer and there must be provisions in the stock safeties in the car that can be used to safe the car in case of meth injection failure. May I ask who tuned your car? Is Scotts car you mentioned one of the cars TES tuned and was it a 6 speed or auto? I think it was right at 800whp as well. I keep going back and fourth on the 2.65 vs 2.75 pulley but need to replace my clutch first. Don't forget about the Per4mance differential brace!
Oh ok. I seen them working on one that was purple with a upper pulley. They removed the lower pulley bolt and pulley by hand as it was not pinned so they pinned it and tuned it. I think the customer did the install on pulley.
Puss 'N Boost yeah they were here a few weeks ago and i talked to them about that one. Customer didn't want to pin the crank and after 300 miles it spun. Luckily no major damage was done.
From a mathematical statistical standpoint, so 4 Grand for 93 more horsepower....hmmm. So you paid roughly 43 bucks per horsepower...Assuming half of that was labor and if us Hellcat owners do the labors ourselves we would pay roughly 21.5 bucks per horsepower. Nonetheless, looks awesome, they did a fantastic job and if i decide to steal your set up you better believe I will not do it myself, paid labor it is. DID YOU UPGRADE YOUR DRIVE-SHAFT YET?
Dee Tuck I think your math is off buddy. 707 is to the crank. My car made 650 to the wheels and 800 to the wheels after. See my recent videos it now has the driveshaft.
You are right 100% correct. I didn't consider parasitic lost and true HP at the wheels and things of that nature. There is a 15-20% lost I believe from the Crank to the wheels. WELLLLL, in your case what I thought was a really good deal to begin with turned in to a robbery in your favor. Total Brain Fart on my end especially after having 5 SRT''s. Marc Flamer definitely would sound good but there's far better parts to buy before that. The cam profile is actually good in these cars so it's not a necessity to change them for power. The fastest hellcats in the world right now are on stock block/head

My 2017 A8 Hellcat is my retirement hobby. It currently makes 900 on the tire, using E85, the larger Demon supercharger and lots of other mods.

A 2.65 with stock injectors….. The duty cycle would be above maxed and who ever did the tune may have set you up for failure.
