@@fast71rod have you seen most of the crazy cars on the strip? Lots are still stick. If you can't shift fast, that's on the driver. When you leave everything up to a computer, you're not doing much yourself at that point. For the everyday street car or the weekend warrior, manual remains more fun.

@@fast71rod what clickbait lol. The audi s4 on my channel ran a 10.9 stock blower. Automatic. Great car. The 2jz Lexus was even faster, manual. Also a great car. It's just preference, and when I refer to auto and manual, I keep saying for the street/daily use. No matter what, that third pedal and rowing gears is more fun. It's already pretty clear that an auto would beat the same car as a manual on the strip.
It seems most race cars are automatic at this point because they shift faster than a human can. ... It seems like most professional race car drivers tend to have some manualtransmissions in their own garage. Obviously, they have no need for racing in their everyday life and they are more about the driving.

Great video! Very informative. I know I'm late to the party, lol... I bought a modded, low-mile 2016 HC. Pretty much the same mods as yours, in addition to a few more (ported/polished super charger, Manley forged pistons and rods, Stealth Pulley, etc) Previous owner put Demon 700 infectors in. I have a new Super Stock, and the '16 pulls harder the the SS. I put new Nitto's (305 NT555RII on 10 1/2 inch wheel) out back. Sounds like I'm in the same ballpark as yours.

Noticing a lot of bounce on those unforgiving NY streets, I’m not throwing shade my guy how times we hear about cars losing it on the belt, lie, cross BX expressway etc etc. that hop will have you lose the ass end.
