I couldn't be more thankful this made it to VA a few weeks back. This is one of those bottles where you're like "Ok, EVERYONE is hyping this thing up to be the greatest thing of all time" but somehow the bottle exceeds those absurdly great reviews.
I was fortunate to get a sample from a friend. The nose is stellar from the first pour. Palate felt like it had something missing at first. Went back to it on a couple more occasions and it just kept getting better and better. Enjoy your bottle Bill. Cheers.
$200 is a good price (not great but😮good luck finding a great price) here in Chattanooga. My friend and I have 10 bottles between us of the 12. Batch 1 is ridiculous. It's worth $200 to me.
Well Jack bonded I thought was okay but it’s not even playing the same game as the 12yr. Pretty much anything JD puts in the squat square bottles is better than bonded. That being said the 12yr is just a way more aged version at a slightly l higher proof
@@bourbonbill Thanks man, I appreciate the response. And I'm sorry if I missed you saying it, but do you know how popular Jack is in PA? Like will this bottle rival the various Buffalo Trace offerings in its difficulty to get or not really?
@@davidjenkins4453 depends on which bottle of Jack the regular gold label barrel proof is almost always available this 12yr and 10yr limited when they drop will likely be gone in 20 mins or less it’s highly sought after

That’s awesome glad you got to try it and unfortunately a friend lent me this bottle to review lol I need one of my own for sure
@@bourbonbill tell him it was a veeeeeeeery hot amd humid weekend in PA. That angels share musta put a dent in it! 😂
@@javieracosta3439 haha it was honestly the hardest bottle not to drink more of I’ve ever had the privilege of borrowing lol
Yes,For me the 12 it’s the most delicious Jack daniels ever and the 10 is also very good and delicious
Spot on I’m excited to try the batch 2 10yr as well
This sounds fantastic. I’m still hoping to find one, and I’m in Tennessee.
It’s amazing that they didn’t really hit the home state yet I hope you get them
Going to work on getting that 10 and 12
For sure I’m dying to find them
Great review. I'm all over that if I see it at a decent price
Yeah for sure it’s really good stuff
Found and picked up the Jack Daniel’s 10 Year at MSRP, but have not found the JD 12 Year. Saw the 12 Year on secondary for $500. No thank you. 🥃
Good grab on the 10 though I bet it’s fantastic I hope I can find both

Batch 1 is great I hear batch 2 is out which I assume is the 2024 release
I want one so bad I hope we both get one great review
You and me both good luck to you
I have never seen a 10 or 12 on a shelf, at any price
I haven’t either lol Pa is usually last to get things
@@bourbonbillI just got mine in central New Jersey for 180 for the 12 year
@@Devilsfan-pd8ovthat’s a decent price for the 12yr is it batch 2 you might have gotten the new 2024 release I haven’t tried that one yet
@@bourbonbill if your by New Jersey a liquors store in Ewing has the 10 year for 125 I think maybe 115
@@bourbonbill no mines batch 1 I just bought it today
This is on my wish list. It is so hard to get limited editions in the west suburbs of Philadelphia where I live.
It’s hard out here in Harrisburg too Pa can be real tough on these limited items
Fire Marshall bill
Haha I do have an inordinate amount of fire extinguishers for some reason
How does it compare to Jack Bonded?
