  • Curious about the new ResMed AirFit F30? ResMed released the AirFit F30 Full Face CPAP Mask on October 15, 2018. The ResMed AirFit F30 Full Face CPAP Mask is a low-profile mask that's similar to the Amara View Full Face Mask and the DreamWear Full Face Mask. It features an open field of view and no forehead strap, which can mean fewer red marks and less irritation.
Learn more about this exciting new mask from CPAP.com's Layne Naftis, who will explain what makes this mask different and how it can benefit our customers. For more information visit the ResMed AirFit F30 product page at CPAP.com:

When the person wearingvthe mask stops breathing.
Does this mask/system use the air puff to begin the wearer breathing again?

Hey Resmed, it might have been a good idea to have have different size mouthpieces, as not all mouths are the same size and width, as you know with the different nasal sizes that come with the Airfit F30 full face mask

How does this function at high pressures? Considering ordering one from your site, but I tried a similar one from a different manufacturer, and it will not handle anything over a pressure of 10.

I use this mask. I get a rash under nose and chin. Any advise. Bob

I love using the Philips Dreamwear Full Face Mask although I own an Airfit F20 I just can’t wear it through the night without throwing it away when my nose starts to get really itchy. I am due for a mask replacement in December but I really want to try this one. And I’m excited because I also want to own an AirMini and seeing as Resmed only allows proprietary masks to be used with the AirMini this is all the more good news because I can use the F30 with the AirMini. Now if only Resmed can make a humidification system with the AirMini using either F20s or F30s.

Hi Fred! As of right now (October 16, 2018), the F30 is not compatible with the AirMini. ResMed is planning on releasing a compatible elbow for the F30 soon that will make it work with the AirMini, but as of right now, it's not compatible. Stay tuned.

I saw another video where they used an elbow from an F20 and attached it onto the F30 to get it to fit onto an Airmini(say that a few times haha). It seemed compatible. They also tried an F20 cushion on the F30 frame and it fits. As far as leakage goes they didn’t turn the Airmini on but I’m really hoping to try that solution out since I maybe travelling soon and lugging around my AS10 seems cumbersome. That, and if I ever chose to continue using the Dreamwear I’d have to purchase a Dreamststion Go instead of an Airmini. This actually gave me hope of sticking with an Airmini.

This one is a complete disaster for me. Tried both versions of the F20 with leaks galore and went to the F30 in desperation, but this is much worse. I like the smaller mask size but the deal breaker is the terrible nasal holes. On a flexible silicone mask, this is asking for trouble and I got it. The holes are too small and easy to get out of position, at which point you can't breathe through your nose and wake up feeling like you are suffocating! At higher pressure, the air blasts into your nostrils and quickly irritates. After two nights, terrible ear pain developed. What were they thinking? I am getting very discouraged. This one is going back.

Are we supposed to be able to hear people that are doing the reviews? Everyone of your videos I tried to watch I can barely hear with a small floor fan in the background noise in my home. You need to have people with the proper sound equipment doing your reviews. When this lady put the mask on. I could not tell what she said at all. I could hear the guy that asked questions. Then she mumbled out the answer at a volume I could not hear. I have a very slight hearing loss can still hear better than most people.
