Freightliner Cascadia 8kmph or 5mph derate bypass

- Hi guys! Everyone has been asking me what to do when the 8kmph / 5mph derate comes! On a manual transmission you can remove the clutch switch and you will be able to drive with reduced power up to 80kmph!
Follow the steps:
1. Truck needs to be started
2. Reach out and remove clutch pedal switch
3. Play with the clutch when more power needed
PS: if you need to turn off the truck, in order to start it again you will need to conect back the clutch switch and remove it once the truck has started!
Hopes this helps!

Didn’t worked on Freightliner Cascadia 2018 Manual transmission
Does this work on an an automatic?
Does this work on 2020 cascadia ? Please help
Unfortunately it doesn’t work on the 2020 model and on automatic transmission
Didnt work for my 2016 cascadia.
It should work! You removed the conector and it still stayed at 5mph?
@@truckscanada3715 well mine was actually allowing me to go 55mph so only at 25% derate. I also had the speed sensor unplugged so i dont know if that had anything to do with it not working.
Well when you remove tge clutch switch the max speed is 55mph with 25% derate! Usually you use this method when you are stuck at 5mph
@@truckscanada3715 ok. Yeah i was hoping it would work with it anyways. Oh well back to the drawing board.
Having this problem now with my 2016 Cummings freightliner.... help
U save me 1000$ for 100 milse
I am glad to hear that my video helped you!👍
@@truckscanada3715 yeah appreciate u men
Is there any way for automatic transmission ?
For automatic transmission only to remove completely the speed sensor and leave it hanging! It is not enough just to unplug it, it needs to be removed from the holder
@@truckscanada3715 where's the holder?
